I dont know what you are talking about really, you joined recently and how can you assure nothings changed? Are you Dr Yaman himself?

None is talking about the use of technicians is a bad thing. Dr Yaman have always been using technicians. We are asking why he lowered his prices by 50% all of a sudden. Usually things dont work that way.

Its abit sketchy if he keep the same quality, doing max 3 patients a day and do planning + incisions with that price, because it is cheaper than most hair mills with NO doctor involvement.

If you check the message above from Whatsapp with Dr Yaman's assistant, you can see that they do exactly the same things with before. So i suppose that nothing has changed, just price.

Maybe because of the pandemic he wants to increase his bookings, not the daily ones but total i think. I will not tell him what price is better for his clinic. He knows better. As soon as he is doing the same things with before, then i cant find a problem with that.

  2. The way that Dr Yaman works has not changed. He is doing the planning of the transplant, doing the incisions and supervising the procedure.

Many doctors follow this model, where they let technicians do the extraction and they just do the incisions.

In Eugenix also, which is considered a great clinic, if you dont select their top package, technisians do the extraction, so same thing with Dr Yaman. I dont understand whats the problem with that.

The fact that he has lower his prices, doesnt mean he has lower the quality, cause he is doing exaclty the same things like before. So someone should be happy to pay less for the same servises...

Dr. Ferreira was included on the "World's Top 25 Hair Transplant Surgeons" in 2021 by Spencer Stevenson. So I wouldn't ever consider going to him "risky". The work I've seen from him on his social media pages looks top of the line.

De Freitas does amazing work and constantly produces great results as seen all over this site and his social media.

HLC is one of the very few clinics in Turkey imo (and this is after years of research on my part) that are a relatively safe bet. That being said if it was me, I would go with one of the other two first.

I dont doubt about Ferreira's work. But because he was working with jose lorenzo in Spain, he does not have many cases on forums from real patients. So I would select doctors with much more results published on forums from patients. That's my opinion. So I would prefer freitas or HLC.

Thank you @AZ67. Dr. Bicer's rate for 4000 grafts is reasonable. I couldn't find Dr. Demirsoy in the IAHRS members and was thinking that list as a level of authenticity. His before and after pictures looks great though!

Don't look on ISHRS list to select a doctor. Many top doctors are not on this list. So it does not matter if he is or not. Demirsoy is good choice. Search for him. Also you could select the exclusive package of Eugenix, where Dr Arika does the slits, at an affordable price.

  5. The problem with Dr Fereira is that we have not seen many cases from him. So if you have not seen many cases simillar to your case how can you select this doctor? So its a bit risky without many results to see. I would suggest you to consider Villa, Pekiner, Erdogan as their costs are simillar to the ones you mentioned and they are good options.

Exactly one of the reasons why I'm still leaning towards him in case the other options are not possible.

Other doctors charge more and are just if not less involved in the whole process.

The thing is based on my research on him these past few weeks I think he has a lot of great results. Some results are less great, especially with one guy on the forum saying he overharvested the donor area, but when you look at him, he is, along with Dr. Bicer, one of the few doctors who not only posts some 1 year/ 2year post op results but answers questions and criticism when people talk about him in the forum.

Sure, his price is quite low for such a high number of grafts but at the same time, this was Dr. Bicer's price a couple months ago before she decided to increase her price per graft due to getting more popularity( not judging her though. She does some outstanding work)

Dr Yaman has good results in general and he is considered as a safe choice. Dont think that because he has this price, you will not get a good result. Price can get up and down, depending on various factors. Some doctors prefer to charge more and have less patients per week, while other doctors prefer to charge less and have more patients. I dont like doctors who think only how to increase their price. Think that @Dr Resul Yamanis on this forum and he would loose many patients if something goes bad with your procedure. So he will give his maximum to satisfy you.

You can also check Dr Demirsoy. He charges 1.25 euro per graft, while bicer is more expensive than him.

Both the doctors would do slits, crucial extractions, and hairline themselves.

Dr. Bicer is 60% of Dr. Arika's premium package cost.

Both recommended a 2nd session for crown after one year. Your suggestions or recommendations appreciated as I am totally new here!

    Thanks!

What is your total budget mate ? Dr Demirsoy is also a good choice, he only does 1 patient a day and he is involved in most parts of the procedure for 1.25 euro/graft, which is an affordable price. Dr Bicer is good too for 1.5 euro per graft.

  8. I think in many clinics doctors just do only the incision part and planning, like Dr Yaman. In ASMED also Dr erdogan does only the icisions and planning and you pay for 2.5 euro/graft, which is quite expensive without full doctor's involvment. In Eugenix too, if you don't select the top packages, Dr Arika does only do the incisions and planning. So i think Dr Yaman is good value for money choice, where you can get a very decent result for an affordable price.
