Unclebenjie well dont ever go to mahadevia he is a hack doctor or a quack he is totally useless and all your exisiting hair too will fall off his grafts have a 30-40% growth rate and he will give you a very poor density of 15 grafts per sq cm and you will curse yourself and be like me and repent . i would rather you saved up and go to the top docs from US or Canada or even bangkok could be cheaper but please take my advice and dont ever go to dr mahadevia

Hi , well i did a hair transplant surgery with Dr mahadevia in June 2009 well he is totally un professional in his approach and i warn all Indians and everybody else not to ever go to him .I went to this surgeon and i asked him how many grafts will you plant he said around 3700 since i wanted maximum i asked the doctor to implant single hair too (FUE+FUT)he said ok and he would implany 600 ,i asked him how did he calculate the strip grafts he said he counted the number of grafts per sq cm and multiplied it by the size of the strip , to this i replied that the grafts may be less in other areas he said ok ill tell you how many grafts i implanted after the procedure i said ok . After the procedure i asked him how many grafts he said 3800 i asked did he count he got irritated he said i already told you before how i counted i said doc that is an estimate only to this he said its impossible to count the number of grafts leave alone the number of 1,2,3 hair grafts he justs estimates and even any patients he tells the grafts or the number of 1,2,3 hair grafts its just a general estimate he must realize that all people are different and density varies at different parts of head i did not argue .Even his support staff are horrible to say the least i asked them no of grafts they said they did not know and talking very rudely i went back to the UK disjointed .I said to my self ill forgive and forget this and prayed for good results but the results are terrible its been more than 6 months and the hairline and rest looks horrible on counting its around 15 hairs per Sq cm it looks terrible i am back in india and very very upset my work in uk is overi really should have done the transplant with Farjo in manchester my mistake i feel very low and my chances of another transplant also are bleak cause the place where he took the single hair from is become so barren that the yield in another transplant will be very less i am distraught and i WARN ALL STAY AWAY FROM DR BISHAN MAHADEVIA i will post pictures soon .Please advise me what to do next

Hi Lads just wanted a few doubts clarified well i am 3 weeks post ht i noticed now that a lot of my transplanted hair is falling off some are straight while others are sort of bent at one end i am not sure whther its the root on the end ,also on looking closely on my scalp i see few transplanted hairs that have fallen off ends are visible but many are blank sort of with no hair left behind just wondering if my pounds are falling of ,also guys due to the extreme hot weather in uk i am getting small boils around 3 on my scalp on my transplanted area along with a lot of itching this coupled with the heat is driving me bollocks any suggestions mates

your absoulutely right pink that was surely a promotional post i spoke to the doc never heard of him before he did not know the difference between fue and fut god help those who go to him beware

thanks leeson and imissthebarber for your replies i am nw 5A age is 34 and this is my first surgery i want to go for maximum number of grafts the doc says he will do 35-40 grafts per cm square says the hairs will be 70-80 says it will be adequate i asked to go for a bigger strip but he says 3000 is the biggest he will go for. So i told him to combine strip with fue is there a problem guys will the grafts grow what % of grafts grow will i able to get a decent coverage with the density the doc will give me ANSWER ME GUYS HELP ME.

hi guys, well i will be going for transplant i was wondering whether it is ok if i combine strip method with fue as the doc said he can get approx 3000 grafts with strip method so i told him to add fue to which he said he will add around 1000 fue so which means i will get around 3000+1000 that is 4000 grafts .i would like to know if 4000 grafts will give adequate coverage as i am nw 5-6 grade .also is a density of 40 grafts per sq cm adequate .also how can i lknow that the actual amount of grafts are transplanted by the doc , GUYS PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME PLEASE ADVISE ME.

well guys how do youll rate Dr Mahadevia from india well i was searching for transplant doctors from india besides Dr A i found Dr Mahadevis very reasonable and no bad reviews about him can anyone throw more light on him or has anyone heard any bad reviews of him.
