Do you have a problem? How about you contribute something constructive to the debate, or is that too much to ask, or is launching ad hominem attacks all you are capable of? Perhaps you can start by pointing towards some clinical study that proves, without a doubt, one is guaranteed against any adverse side effect? Don't have one? Thought so.
Carry on sticking your head in the sand. Good luck with that.
Forget the minoxidil, please seek out a psychiatric professional.

Inflammation of the lining that surrounds the heart is also stated as being "very common".
You've posted over 6 times in the past hour. You good? If you don't want to take oral then don't take it.
Stop cherry picking from studies to fit your opinion and fear mongering.

Why are you asking another patient about instructions when you should be contacting me or my office? That is the most direct route to an accurate response since we will providing your care, not the poster on this forum.
Sorry, I didn't want to be a bother. Didn't mean any disrespect. I'll contact your office.

Need some tips from fellow HT folks. I’ve been advised to sleep in a recliner/incline angle for 2 weeks (min 1 week). So far this has been the hardest part of recovery. I can barely sleep an hour or 2. Any tips or suggestions that others have done will be appreciated.
wow that sounds rough. Maybe a wedge pillow? Do you have bad swelling or why do you have to do this?

Yeah I don't know why the doctor order 10% minox to add to the formula

The topical is 0.1% Dutasteride and 10% Minoxidil. I'm assuming the dropper is 1ml.
I applied 1ml to my head and after a few hours had a few irregular heartbeats. The following day my heart felt kinda weird and I had muscle twitches in my legs which was also a new occurrence.
I've been taking 2.5mg oral minoxidil with no side effects. Why would applying 1ml of 10 minoxidil topically give me these weird side effects? Maybe there was a mistake in the compounding pharmacy?

Are you on Finasteride?

I have a procedure coming up soon. Curious, where did you stay and how did you pay? Wire transfer?

It's okay, but if you're already on oral finasteride, there isn't a need to be on topical dut.
Oh I thought in one of your new videos you said topical dut was the new golden standard. Dut is more potent than finasteride right? Why not do both?
-
Is it okay to stay on oral finasteride while using topical dut?

What’s the reason?
"Because it's a blood pressure medicine."

Same. I was going to start oral minoxidil until i came across this article: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9577643/. Even at low doses it can be dangerous
" He had a medical history significant for idiopathic pericarditis complicated by pericardial effusion 5 years prior but was otherwise healthy without coexisting cardiac, hepatic, or renal disease."
Did you not read that part?

I take 2.5mg 3x a week and 5mg 4x a week. Only reason I don’t take 5mg daily is to conserve my supply. I have a 90-day supply for 2.5mg.
I asked my doc if we can bump me up to 5mg and they told me no.

Doctor knudsen, who is insanely smart (mediocre ht surgeon though according to some members here) won't just willy nilly prescribe dutasteride since it blocks all dht and, they do not know what other uses DHT is needed for our body, it might have some important functions that they don't know about, and there aren't enough studies to safely prove it doesn't.
The drug has been around since 1993 and approved by the FDA for medical use in 2001. It's even approved in South Korea and Japan for the use of hairloss.

How do you get a prescription for a compounding pharmacy to make a topical solution for Min + Fin + Tretinonin?

I have FUE scheduled with Dr. Konior this spring and I am SUPER EXCITED. I've been waiting so long for this moment. For a decade I've been so embarrassed about my looks I wouldn't leave the house without wearing a hat. What things should I do to best prepare and take care of myself for the procedure? Still need to book my flight, hotel and transportation.

I’ve been on 2.5 mg for over a month. No sides besides my body hair grows faster.
What made you want to switch from topical to oral?

If you had zero sides from fin you should have zero sides on Dut.
Frankly i think more doctors should just prescribe Dut from The get go.
The drug mechanisms for fin and dut are basically the same.
Then wouldn't that mean that Dut is essentially no more effective than Finasteride?

If you have heart issues might not be a great idea.
Kevin does not like oral minoxidil
