  1. Yeah, he said unless anything traumatic has occurred (which it has not to my knowledge), then there is very little reason to suspect that there are any lost grafts and that the appearance is more or less due to scabbing. Pretty sure I'm just being overly anxious and paranoid from being cooped up inside for the past 10 days.
  2. Hi, 10 days ago I had a transplant done here in the U.S. by a very reputable surgeon to fill in some of my recessed fronto-temporal regions. The post operative pictures look very good to me, but when I compare them to 10 days out there seems to be quite a bit of density disparity across certain areas (see second picture attached). I did not have any sort of traumatic event occur to the area that I'm aware of and would assume that I would know if grafts were actually dislodged. All that being said, Is it common for newly transplanted hairs to shed out as early as 5-10 days after a procedure? The surgeon, who I respect and believe, essentially told me that there wasn't much to worry about if there was no traumatic event that took place, just looking for some additional reassurance from the community here. Immediate Post Op (taken by surgical team): Density looks to be very good in my opinion 10 Days Post Op: I know the photo angle, lighting, and quality is much different here but I think the density concern is made clear
  3. Are these hair transplant doctors that are prescribing Oral Min? Or are most people able to obtain a prescription for it from a regular GP?
  4. Are most people obtaining oral minoxidil through the internet without a doctor? I want to start taking it but I'm not sure how to go about it in a safe way.
