Hi,
10 days ago I had a transplant done here in the U.S. by a very reputable surgeon to fill in some of my recessed fronto-temporal regions. The post operative pictures look very good to me, but when I compare them to 10 days out there seems to be quite a bit of density disparity across certain areas (see second picture attached). I did not have any sort of traumatic event occur to the area that I'm aware of and would assume that I would know if grafts were actually dislodged. All that being said, Is it common for newly transplanted hairs to shed out as early as 5-10 days after a procedure? The surgeon, who I respect and believe, essentially told me that there wasn't much to worry about if there was no traumatic event that took place, just looking for some additional reassurance from the community here.
Immediate Post Op (taken by surgical team):
Density looks to be very good in my opinion
10 Days Post Op:
I know the photo angle, lighting, and quality is much different here but I think the density concern is made clear
