  1. Like this? thought this looked quite intense myself, especially after a few days, but because I had daily contact with the doctor via whatsapp and he kept asking for pictures, he was able to reassure me and assess the healing daily
  2. a total of 2430 grafts. The whole treatment done by the doctor himself and 1 assistant. Doctor did almost everything himself. The assistant helped sort the grafts and put them back in place. Long day from 7:45am to 3:45pm, but well worth it!
  3. My baldness / coves started around the age of 25. However, in the early years of the coves little to no trouble was experienced. It didn't bother me. From the age of 28-29 my hair started to thin at a considerable rate and the coves became larger. With a short haircut it was possible. But the uncertainty about my hair grew day by day. On weekends, I always wore a cap whenever the occasion allowed. To keep my hair short and 'presentable' in my opinion, I was at the hairdresser every 1.5 to max 2 weeks. Unnoticed I was suddenly busy with my hair and appearance every day, and not in a nice way. Around my 30th I think I seriously considered a hair transplant for the first time and did research. Postponed...and postponed again...focus shifts to other matters...procrastination seemed to be getting postponed. Until when I was 35 I ended up in a phase where I was really ashamed of my hair. The hairdresser was closed (because of Covid), so put the clippers on it. From a balding head with coves to cropped hair all-over. Better than those coves, now get used to that bald head. It took weeks, months to get used to it. I couldn't get used to it! I hated seeing myself. We are writing in mid-2020 when my girlfriend urges me to delve into a hair transplant again. After re-reading I decided to make arrangements to speak and visit doctors/clinics live. I have had 3 consultations at different clinics. In the end, choosing the right clinic for me was not that difficult. Below is a brief summary of my experiences: Visus Clinic in Rotterdam Excellent first impression: clean, neatly greeted and coffee offered, exudes professionalism. I did not have a consultation here with a doctor, with a 'desk employee'. Undoubtedly a lot of knowledge, but still different. Someone who ultimately does not treat me will judge me immediately during a first consultation and immediately print an example on her screen on the basis of some photos taken of how my hairline would look like. Nice system, but my wishes were not yet asked. FueGenix I came across Fuegenix on Facebook (adv.). This practice is relatively young and small, but the doctor (Dr. Ahmad) has the necessary experience. During the consultation I spoke directly with the treating doctor. Made me feel good right away. Immediately received honest advice about what could and could not be done. Everything is possible, but it must stand and be natural. Hairworld Istanbul Consultation at the office of this clinic, in Vlaardingen. Sorry I went here. Consultation costs you 35 Euro, money will be deducted from your final treatment. This is easy to earn. Commercially exhausted: immediately make an appointment to fly to Turkey as soon as possible. Too 'pusherig' for me, really not for me. Screening with photos of famous Dutch people who were treated in this clinic didn't do anything for me, but I can imagine that people are sensitive to this. After letting everything sink in for a while, I finally chose FueGenix, a fairly easy choice in hindsight. dr. Ahmad was the only one who indicated to me in a consultation what I should not do, and gave thorough and professional explanations. This doctor knows what he is talking about. I finally made my choice after some e-mail in which I called Dr. Ahmad indicated that I was 99.9% sure that I wanted to be treated by him. dr. Ahmad sent me the response back: 'As long as you are 99.9% sure and not 100% sure, I will not treat you'. WOW! It came in, this touched and triggered me. back to the beginning of my post, and why I'm posting the above: don't hesitate! I do not regret my treatment. I don't regret choosing FueGenix. What I do regret is that for years I doubted and fooled myself. Since my treatment I feel much more confident, younger... happier! Since my treatment on January 29, 2021, I haven't worn caps anymore
