  1. Sorry about the crappy photo. It isn't shock loss. It's just from the flash of the phone. It doesn't look that crazy. Hers another picture that may show a little better. Day 12
  2. Here is a photo from today. I believe it is day 11. It is starting to get very flaky.
  3. I went in for a cleaning today. Figured I would show how it looks today. It's been about 5 days now.
  4. I've heard someone mention that before. Anybody else have experience with that? I found some aloe in a spray. Is it safe to use on my hairline to help hydrate the skin and heal faster?
  5. I'm using neosporin on the donor area now. Is there any thing else I can use on the donor area to help prevent scarring or to help with the healing process?
  6. No real side effects from it. Pretty much halted the recession of hair. Would recommend.
  7. I have been on fin for 3 years and started oral minoxidil a month ago.
  8. Any tips or tricks to help the healing process move along quicker? I was thinking I would start taking biotin and folic acid to help my hair grow back faster.
  9. Greetings everyone, I finally mustered up enough courage to go ahead and get my hairline fixed by one of the best and I am a very satisfied customer. He has a wonderful team and they make you feel right at home. It is expensive but I wanted the peace of mind knowing I had nothing to worry about going into this as I am very peculiar about everything in my life and sometimes even a perfectionist. While I rest in the hotel I figured I would post some pictures of where I am at. It's only been 24 hours now but I will continue posting pictures as time goes on. From what I can tell it is damn near perfect and symmetrical on both sides. Let me know what you guys think. I was told it was around 2200 grafts. A lot more than I expected.
  10. I reached out to Dr. Couto. I will see what his time frame is. I would like to get this done sometime this year. I am also very big on my donor area and want to make sure it doesn't come out looking crazy afterwards. I do like that Nadami seems to have a soft touch but for some reason I am having trouble finding reviews. I did want to ask, is Wong or Hasson better for the hairline restoration or are they pretty much the same for both?
  11. I've been in contact with Nadimi. My concern is that she is conservative with the amount of hair follicles she uses and I have very thick hair as is and want to make sure it is densely packed. I'm leaning towards Dr. Hasson right now. Any other elites you would suggest?
  12. I appreciate that. It's easy to remember the bad reviews over the good ones. I will reach out to a couple more. Thanks again for the suggestions and information. Always appreciated. I know these threads probably get posted a lot.
  13. The recent posts with hasson and wong were just talking about how they were not involved as much as they used to be during the procedure. I'm still considering but want to delve into more info.
  14. I actually posted awhile ago requesting information and was set on dr. Konior. Unfortunately, when I contacted them, he is not taking any appointments at this moment for 2024. I then contacted hasson and wong and was about to go with them until I started researching them again and finding interesting reviews with unhappy patients. Now, I'm in contact with Dr. Sahar nadami to see when she is available. I just wanted to see who you guys would recommend today that I can rely on and get an appointment for this year? My budget is 20-30k. My main goal is to have it done right the first time and not have to worry about it. Atleast for a long time. I'd prefer to stay in the states but I am not opposed to going to another country. Thanks
  15. I contacted H&W as well as Dr. De Freitas. I'm in no rush as I am more concerned with the quality and it just allows me more time to save up more money. I want to make sure I get the best as this will change my day to day life and give me a lot more confidence as I'm sure it has everyone else. I can potentially see this helping me out in many factors of life. If I have more confidence, I will have more courage to do things I didn't have which could ultimately help me in many areas of my life including my career. Peace of mind is just as important as the results. I know if I were to spend the extra money on Dr. K, or any other top notch doctor, that it would give me the peace of mind knowing I got the best and not having to wonder if it could have been better. I will continue to research and contact these doctors to see who works the best with me. Other than that, I've noticed i have a decent amount of grey hair in my donor area. Do they navigate around the grey hair to ensure they don't implement any of them? I'm not sure I have seen anybody talk about this aspect of it.
  16. Greetings! I started 1mg finasteride about 2 years ago to slow the process of my receding hairline. Since then, I have saved up as much as I could to compensate for a proper HT. Most recently, I've been lurking the forums and doing research on the procedures and the doctors. I've concluded that I will at least be looking to stick with FUE instead of FUT. I contacted a few doctors recently to see how many grafts I would possibly need. HLC quoted me 2600-3200 while others like Nadimi suggested 1700-2000. I will post pictures down below of what I'm working with. I was hoping I could save enough up for Konior but unfortunately I just don't think that's going to be in my budget and after looking into Nadimi, it doesn't seem like I could go wrong with having the procedure through her while saving some money and getting very similar results. As far as HLC goes, this was my first option but after further contemplating the idea of a HT, I would much rather do it within my own country than to leave to go overseas. I don't mind paying a couple extra thousand to stay within the states and honestly the results I've seen from Nadimi looked a tad better with less harvesting of the donor area. With that said, I'm looking to see if I can get some more suggestions or opinions on other doctors I should look at. I also should mention that I'm okay with being on a waiting list up to a year. I just want to make sure I get a great doctor that I feel confident with and can get my hairline fixed with a one and done procedure. Thanks
