So I had a HT with Dr. Wong of H&W to fix my hairline....it's been 8 days post op and it seems like 80% of the hairs are growing. Is this normal? And will it just grow and then fall out? I was shocked that I had very minor swelling. The first 2 HT I swelled big time....but it was from a really crappy place. I'm wondering if Dr. Wong's great work was so gentle and carefully done that I barely swelled?

Well I'm no expert but I suspect if you do it at a early age it's hard to really tell how much your really gonna lose say when your 32-26? I would suggest Hasson and Wong in Vancouver! I just had work done there on 11/4/09 compared to my last session in Tulsa. In terms of comparison they are the Ferrari of HT compared to a hyundai. Please go to a top HT Doc or your gonna regret it..and then they will probably get you on proscar to keep the rest of your natural hair.

I am now 3 days post op and was wondering what you guys think of using Aquaphor to make the healing process go even faster? I have a full sleeve tattoo and my Tattoo artist had me use this to help heal post treatment. I was thinking of just very gently applying a thin layer to the grafted area. Any pros or cons? Hello my German Friend!! Thanks for the info....I wish I had a vaporizer. After the HT I have to watch my money if you know what I mean would not mind sharing a bowl with you right now! So how is it in Germany what are you studying? I'm in Seattle,WA the stuff we have here is very quality...how is it there?

I have to go back to work 7 days after my HT I work at a Children's Hospital and Had 1500 grafts done on my hairline....my hairline was shaved up about a inch for the procedure..my hair is long but there is no way I can cover it up. I just can't shave my head either...so what do you guys think of me wearing a beanie at work? Will this be very damaging to my HT?

Hi, I just had a HT of 1500 and was curious if I could smoke a little Marijuana....when I say smoke some I mean just a little to relax so like 2-3 inhales and that is it. PS No need for anyone to get all huffy puffy and angry about this posting. I don't smoke cigs and rarely ever drink. Willing getting a little stoned really affect my healing? This is day one after the Transplant...no bleeding at all....just a small spot on my cover that I use on my pillow...not really any discomfort other than it feels tight in the donor area where the staples are. I doubt I will even need to use the pain killers they gave me. Also, as much as I read on how to wash the grafted areas I still get nervous on how to wash and how much pressure to use should I really get the shampoo really lathered up?
