Elite Drs have excellent results with all hair types. Afro hair though does need a specialist, such as Bisanga or Diep for example.
Please do not consider Turkey over the Spanish/Portuguese/Belgium Drs you have available for repairs. As I always mention you do have options in Turkey that are fine, but for repairs? Not so much. And you really do want to be choosing the best for your next procedure.
Thank you for your input. I messaged Dr cuoto as well but they have closed all consultations until 2022 as they have too many waiting in line lol. I will put the fate of my scalp in Dr. De Freitas hands.

Coca Cola should be ok, but Fanta is a big no no! It’s in most clinics post op instructions
Is this because Fanta is more acidic or are you just joking around? 😅

Pretty much all of us make a not so good first choice in our 1st Ht. You are in a great position to get the results you want, it will just take longer than you originally expected. De Freitas would be a excellent choice in moving forward. All you can hope for now is good growth from what’s been implanted. Which we know is less than 1500 grafts. It could have been a lot, lot worse ! 👌
Glad to hear that, although after browsing around this forum a bit I realised it is best to go to surgeons who do your specific hairtype frequently, I'm not sure if my hair is similar to spanish people since I come from a kurdish-iraqi heritage. Would a surgeon in turkey be a better alternative for me? What do you think

I was told to wait 72 hours before the first wash. Every clinic has their own protocol though as mentioned above.
I'd probably ask your clinic to wash it for you

Yes it’s good to plan ahead. Decent Drs/Clinics do get booked up months and even years in advance! 👌
Comforting to hear. Thank you for helping me see the light at the end of the tunnel.

De Freitas is approx €3.50 for the first 1000 grafts and €2.50 thereafter. Can depend on the case though.
That's great. I've sent an e-mail to them to get their assessement, and hopefully have my failed transplant restoration with them in 12 months. Thank you all! I appreciate it a ton.

I missed that your name was Swedishdude so I assume youre in Europe
yeah the density is clearly lacking in the post-op pics. In terms of price De Freitas in Spain might be the most affordable for you (amazing hairlines).
A lot of clinics won't see until the growth can be properly assessed at 12 months so it's going to be a tough wait. Its good the clinic at least didnt shave your native hair behind your hairline so if you continue to grow it long it might be enough to cover it during this period.
let us know if you have anymore questions
Thank you! I can't find any pricings on Dr. Freitas website, because it will individually be assessed. I understand their thought process but I really just want a number to see what price range we're talking about. Do you have any estimates? BTW that clinic looks great.

I dont know exactly how far you are along post-op, but I assume this was quite recent given there is still some redness around the recipient and you may have undergone a shed? Do you have any immediate post-op pics to share so we can assess the density?
I dont see too many multi-grafts so if that is truly the density the clinic implanted you at then a follow up operation should really just be a straightforward procedure of adding density to your current hairline. There might not be a need to remove much of it.
Not sure of your location but if its Europe (?) I think if you get a doctors certificate the Belgium docs waive the 21% Vat tax, so id echoed @JohnAC71 suggestions of Bisanga Feriduni etc and consider only going to the best. That might be more affordable.
The pictures were taken on day 9 post-op. Here's some pics from day 2

Hello, I just recently had a transplant that lacks density, with multiple multigraphs on the hairline... and am now researching for a HT doc that is suitable for fixing this after this hair has finished growing.
I feel anything above 5$ per graft is just far too expensive for me, downside is that most recommended surgeons are at this price tag or even above. However, I would choose them as a final outlet if there are no viable options below that price tag. So hit me with your suggestions please and thank you!

Actually it looks like he filed it against Dr. Glenn Charles who's recommended here (?).
Well he wasn't complaining about the results, rather that they used his picture as advertisement without his endorsement.

Looks great man! How many grafts did you end up using?
Yeah the donor area doesn't look too great. Maybe you could return and ask them what that's all about. We are paying big stacks after all lol

Hello
I am now in day 4 post-op and am wondering what the general consensus is regarding fizzy drinks like coca-cola or fanta, or any strong sugar drinks. Does consuming these impact the final result in any way?
Best regards

I had a very similar post-op result. Glad I am not the only one who gets the scolding from this forum for not enough density at first look. lol. I'm on day 12 ATM and already trying to book a second operation with a much better clinic, as I had rushed into my hair transplant for the first time and didn't know of this forum.
With that said I hope your result turns out the way you desire. Best of luck
