From the pics I've seen of post-op transplant work, the density looks really low. That looks like a few hundred grafts in the frontal third if I had to guess which is really low. I could be wrong though since I haven't seen a lot of post-op pics compared to other posters I'm sure.
I think in that area, you would usually see 2k-4k grafts
The agreed number was 2300 grafts

can you share pics of your donor? im just interested to see their extraction pattern
at this point I dont really trust what the clinic has to say based on the vagueness of their responses.
given the quality of your photos you could probably count the individual grafts yourself and get the number.

Seems like there's not enough density either honestly. Who was your surgeon?
You should consult with an ethical doctor who's good at repairs. Do some research on this forum. Bisanga and Feriduni seem quite experienced in Europe.
In any case, you may have to wait at least a 4-6 months if you want to get a follow up procedure.
Thanks, at this stage I am not going to disclose the clinic, I live in Australia so it is a local clinic in sydney.

Their response isnt really accurate - top tier clinics are able to dense pack without compromising graft survival. Its really about what different clinics are able to achieve.
In all honesty the result is likely going to be a little disappointing in terms of density. Once you grow it out (and potentially use concealers like toppik) it will probably be closer to what you want. If you can try and think positively youve established a foundation for a very easy 2nd pass surgery, but you'll still have to wait a year to fully assess the results first.
How many grafts was the operation, and how is your donor?
Thanks for the response. as they said I have a fantastic donor, I had lots of double, triple and four grafts hairs on my donor. as I have said the agreed number was 2300 grafts but im really not sure whether they have transplanted all that number.

@qui bono I have photos, Yeah as I have posted the clinic's answer regarding low density above. Have a look please. i'll put a post op photo here.

Thanks for answers. I contacted the clinic about the density. the following is their response.
"The number of grafts we have placed in that area is a very good number. Your grafts were thick which meant that placing them any closer together they would have been popping out and also would have impacted on the survival rate through restricting blood flow and oxygenation. The majority of your grafts had 2,3 and 4 follicles. A photo is not a 1:1 scaleWe have no reason to think that at this stage, given the number of grafts to that relative small area , the healthy quality of those grafts and the majority being multi follicular grafts, that you would not get a result that you should be pleased with. It is way too early to make any judgement". -

Thank you very much, I remember you counted my grafts. It gave me a hint to go count them myself on hd photo to be certain it was really the case. unfortunately I could not find more than 1200 grafts, as per donor area, I counted upto 1700 punch holes. I shared my concerns with the clinic, they have responded and i copy paste some paragaphs here.
"I appreciate you bringing your concerns to my attention. It is a frightening time for many waiting for results after a procedure. When you go sourcing comments from the internet, at this stage, it is not hard to find people who are more than willing to criticise other peoples’ work. The internet is full of so-called experts who find enjoyment in picking out ‘faults’. In my experience, once results start to come through these comments begin to fade.
Comparing with photos from other surgeries is misleading; there would be a whole range of photos of cases of 2300 grafts and how much area this would cover, and they would all be different. Placement of your grafts is depended on variables such as graft thickness, and we found your grafts to be healthy and thick. Because of this, to avoid them popping out, they were placed marginally wider apart than someone who would have thinner grafts. You use the comparison photo to suggest that the graft numbers my team planted are short, and this is something I reject. My team and I are very careful about counting graft numbers. My team harvested 2307 grafts. If it were 1200 grafts, as you suggest, we would have been finished the day by 3pm, not 6:30pm. 1200 grafts could never have covered this sort of area or given it much density. 1200 grafts would not give you a good result for this area and we expect to get a good result. These grafts were sorted into single haired and multiples/groups, based on the number of roots not hairs. 30% were single haired grafts (1 root), and these were doubled and tripled with other single haired grafts to create better density for you. The plan was to densify the front area as much as possible. You would not get as good density with just single haired grafts. The photos that were taken immediately after the procedure show that your grafts were far more compact in some areas than your later photo suggests. Grafts do not always have crusts or tissue to see, especially when they are pushed in, so the surrounding tissue is flush with the scalp. We can only advise you how to look after them, sleep with them and care for them and we cannot be responsible for what happens outside of our control. I understand you called technition the day after your procedure concerned that you had touched your grafts in your sleep and sent her a photo for clarification. Two of my technicians also mentioned to me that you expressed concern that you have a habit of touching your head at night-time, to which you were advised that we provide you with the necessary items to avoid this, but that it is up to you to be mindful of this."
that was their response.
