  1. If you want convenience and a cozy atmosphere than you can look at white ivory bed and breakfast which is 5 mins walk from the clinic..you can book a high category room which was big enough..its a Boutique hotel and the breakfast is good..plus there is a 7 eleven and other such stores nearby and the krung thon buri metro train station is also nearby which is a plus. You can use this railway which is the fastest and most convenient means of transportation in bangkok which has heavy traffic and its very cheap. Download Bolt app for private taxis which is cheaper than other apps.

The other hotels which you can book are

    - The pattern boutique, which is jst near to the white ivory bed and breakfast and the owner is same

    - the ex capital hotel which is a 3 star property.

    - cascade hotel which is a 4 star property

    - Ryhhton Apartment is nearby which is good option if you want individual apartment

Download Grab app for food delivery if you stay there.

I hope this helps you. Best of luck and say my hi to dr laorwong.

  2. I'd like to explain how surgery is approached

—> As a first step, you should address the underlying cause of your hair loss...even if you undergo surgery, if your hair loss continues, then you will be in the same state again soon...surgery won't solve your hair loss problem...

It is therefore important to consult a good doctor who is more familiar with hair loss and begin medication. This can stabilize, slow down, or reverse your hair loss...this is the key to a successful outcome...to reap the benefits of medication, you need to take it religiously for the full 12 months and then reassess your situation and plan accordingly.

—>In addition to taking medication, you should also educate yourself. You can use this 12 month period to research more about hair transplant surgery, learn more about the whole process, and understand the nuances. Research good doctors around the world and shortlist around 4-5 doctors based on your findings, and then consult all of them to determine who best fits your needs and expectations.

Taking all of the above things into account will pave the way for a successful surgery.

I hope this helps you ...best of luck.
  3. Given your budget, you might consider consulting the following doctors: Dr. Laorwong, HDC Clinic, and Dr. Michalis. You could also split your surgery into two sessions: one for 3000 to 3500 grafts now, and another in 2-3 years. This approach can help manage your expenses and allow you to select a suitable surgeon. I understand not everyone can afford to spend a large amount of money at once, but by splitting the surgery, you can better manage your finances. Keep in mind that as a high Norwood patient, you might need multiple procedures, and the costs of good surgeons are rising. Hair transplant surgery is a complex and expensive process with no guarantee of success.

I think both of those places are part of large hair transplant chains. I personally prefer to stay away from the chains because while one Dr at one location may be doing good work, you don't know who you are going to get at the location you will go to. The Before and After pics don't necessarily come from the particular clinic you will go to either because since it's a chain they can share info between them all and they may pick photos from another location to show you and pass it off as their work. I don't know about these particular places you mentioned, so I'm not saying they are doing that, but I've seen that done when a clinic is part of a chain. I also think they usually get the newer Drs who haven't done any/many hair transplants. The chains are sort of practicing grounds. If a Dr becomes very good at performing hair transplants, then they will do better on their own rather than staying attached to a chain. Again, I'm not commenting specifically on the clinics you mentioned, just putting my opinions out on what I know from chains in the past.

    however imagine the following scenario:

a guy holds you at gunpoint and threatens to shot you if you dont order the list you just made from best to worst…what would you answer?

I have reviewed the results from most of the doctors mentioned but have only personally consulted with Dr. Laorwong for my surgery. Therefore, my opinions are based solely on online research, which doesn't qualify me to rank all the doctors accurately. So even at a gunpoint i can only make assumptions..so by ranking them i may be doing injustice to them 😊

Each patient has unique characteristics, needs and expectations, so it's important to consult with multiple doctors and choose the one who instills the most confidence and aligns with the patient's goals.

    Its true with other doc

I understand that Asmed is often considered a "hairmill," but that doesn't mean all their patients receive poor results. They have produced many successful outcomes, and even clinics with worse reputations (far worse than asmed) can achieve decent results occasionally. Therefore, please avoid making broad statements that could negatively impact the patient. OP has already undergone surgery at Asmed, so discussing the clinic's quality is now irrelevant.

  8.  1 to 2.5 euros per graft - dr kongkiat laorwong ,dr gur, dr turan ,dr demirsoy ,dr michalis georgiou ,dr patty,dr christina (hdc clinic),dr Espinosa (medecap clinic),dr fares seffen, dr. ibrahim jebai, dr chris(Choiexpert)

You can consider consulting some doctors from the above list though it isn't any kind of recommendation so Don't take the above list as face value and look at it just as a source of information regarding the names of some good surgeons to do consultations with..This list is based on my knowledge and preferences and there are many other good surgeons/clinics which i may be not knowing or didn't see enough results from them and hence are not in that list..and for that you can do your research and take opinions of other members as well...i hope this helps you ..best of luck....

  9. In most cases, hair transplants create an illusion of density, which requires growing your hair longer. Achieving a high density that allows for a short hairstyle is nearly impossible. At just six months post-op, there's a good chance your density will improve in the coming months. Regarding your donor area, it's hard to judge how much can be safely harvested from the photos alone. The center of your donor area looks a bit sparse, but pictures can be misleading. There may be significant shock loss in the donor area that could take a few more months to recover. You should consult your surgeon and consider starting medication that might help. I would suggest waiting for full 12 months before exploring other options.

  10. With 1750 grafts, getting that perfect density won't be possible, but letting your hair grow longer can help cover up any thin spots, and you can always use hair fibers to fill in any gaps and make it look denser.

When it comes to the crown, it's tempting to go all-in for density, but it might be smarter to hold onto some grafts for the future, especially since you've got a good amount of native hair in front and you seems to be young and may loose some native hairs in future.

As for the hairline, i would say, a "V" shape might be worth considering over a "U" shape. A "V" shape tends to look more natural and can help hide any signs of a transplant better. Plus, it can age well and save you some grafts down the line. But hey, at the end of the day, it's your call. You're the one who's gotta look in the mirror every morning!

I hope this helps you. Best of luck.
