It looks like you are thinning in a NW 6 pattern. Have you tried getting on finasteride or minoxidil? Look into those if you haven't. You have a lot of hair left, but the longer you wait to do anything, the harder and less likely it is that you will get it to grow back.

    Thanks for your reply.

I am on Finasteride, I take about 0.25mg oral every 2 days. Any more than that and I get sexual sides.

I'm also on TRT which has accelerated the thinning- I try to stay on as low a dose as possible, but even at 80mg I think thinning accelerates.

Anti androgens like RU and even CB-03-01 had horrible sides for me.

I'm 35 so I'm not super worried- My dad is NW 6 or worse, as was my grandfather, so I think that's my destiny. I'm happy to get an HT later though

@Ronnieman have you tried micro dosing oral Finasteride? Instead of 1.5mg once a week consider 0.25mg three or four times a week? If you have tried this then consider oral minoxidil and topical Finasteride or Xyon Health’s topical Finasteride or Dutasteride. I had sexual side effects on oral Finasteride but I finally changed to topical Finasteride 0.25mg and so far no sexual side effects. All the best man.

Yes that is a great idea actually. I was doing it and it seemd fine, but then I got tired of cutting it up into quarters so I did 0.5mg 3x a week and got sides! I will first microdose topical fin 0.25mg and see how it goes, then if necessary I think I will do what you suggested.

Sometimes all the methods take up so much space mentally that you forget which one seemed to work. Thanks for your reply!

WOW. I'm 33 now and have absolutely the same situation like you in the crown now. Did you also always had a big whirl? I was where you were with the hairline about 2 years ago. now I have more recession and a pronounced triangle. Went on to FIN and Minox about 1.5 years ago an I'm very angry that I haven't caught it earlier. I really want to go with a transplant now. So get on medication asap!!!! But overall I'm shocked how similar your case is with mine, insane. I will try oral Minox now and will add it to my Finasteride.

Check the first page of this thread for 2 years ago. Much thicker before

I get Ed from all the dht inhibitors and heart/lung pain from RU.

I think I will get back on topical or oral fin microdose

  4. Just adding an update guys, after about 4 months of topical Dut once a week

    20230526_220358.thumb.jpg.2089ab5284e46f1c7dc5eb1162db186d.jpg20230526_220341.thumb.jpg.84dbfa84c918200027455c165646ba00.jpg20230526_220339.thumb.jpg.e74f0de64c9d8b5c5c9358c73cde564a.jpg

Looking a bit thin, especially from the front.

I don't like the once a week application of topical dut, but any more and I get Ed

I think I'll go back to topical and/or oral fin.

Think it's just gonna be a slow burn.

Will try an anti androgen like cb0301 and keep my eye on CosmeRNA.

    May consider SMP.

Whats the family history like out of curiosity

Dad and grandfather bald. Mother's side good head of hair, but my mom's hair is very thin

  5. An update after about a month of LipoDut, after being on Anagenica/Farmacia Topical Dut for 3 months.

My hair has thinned in that time, and I'm only on 60-70mg TRT.

Even when I take around 1ml once a week, I have ED issues most of the day.

My main frontal scalp area has thinned, to the point where after I got a haircut this week I can now see my scalp a little bit from the front.

I think I'm going to switch back to topical Fin (got a ton of bottles of them), and add in an anti-androgen like CB. I'll check out CosmeRNA mentioned above.

I think the issue I see with topical Dut is that because I can only take it once a week, if I miss certain areas of the scalp, I'm kinda screwed. I'd rather take 0.25mg topical fin 5 days a week, at least I'll end up getting most of the scalp. Even going back to 1.5mg oral fin a week is a possibility tbh

Based on the clinical trials it’s similar to topical minoxidil. Finasteride or dutasteride would be better IMO.

This is just because I'm worried that I'll never be able to use Fin/Dut at a decent dose due to sexual sides.

If this Lipo gel is legit for stopping sides for everyone, it will be a Godsend

    When on TRT CB0301 7.5%

Some people use oral 5 days a week and Topical twice a week

Are you still on CB-03-01 mate? Did it work? I've heard conflicting reports which has stopped me from buying.

I’ve been on it almost two months no sides. I have seen some anecdotal reports that their fin has caused side effects. I spoke with Dr. Vaño one of the leading hair loss doctors in Europe. He said topical dutasteride makes more sense, in term’s efficacy and safety used topically. The main thing is the vehicle. Liposomal silicone based vehicles appear to be the best option.

Are you staying on TRT doses or are you blasting and cruising?

I am staying on 70mg TRT. No blasting for me that I forsee.

I'm gonna buy the LipoDut from Anagenica and see how that works.

Where do your levels (T, E2, DHT) end up on 70mg and how do you split up your dosing? Any HCG or AI?

    My T is about 1400 ng/dl

    e2 I think is fine, a bit high but I don't mind

DHT I haven't got tested in a long time.

No HCG or AI, It's just a standard TRT dose with no real sides

  9. Well guys, about 2 months on Topical Dut from FUE clinic- About .75mg to 1mg a week, and I have mild to moderate ED.

Some days it's 50% EQ (like today), other days it's like 70%.

I must say that it does hold the hair well though.

I will wait like 9 days since last application to apply again, and this time do 0.5mg

I really like the convenience of once a week application as opposed to topical Fin.

I will try to manage dosage, perhaps even take oral Dut instead like 0.5mg every week...as my only concern with 0.5mg topical is will I get every part of the scalp.

I am really interested if Xyon Topical Dut truly has no sides, will check out that thread. Also LIPODUT sounds interesting.

I'm down to 70mg a week TRT now, which isn't as big an issue as when I was blasting 200mg this time last year! I'm optimistic about a solution, with all the above options.

Yes there is a warning on finasteride that states women should not touch broken tablets as it can be absorbed by the skin and cause birth defects. I think it's safe to assume it applies to topical dut even more since there is no kind of protective coating and it was exposed directly to an open wound

Erection good now guys, less than 3 days later. 70-80% back May have been the systematic absorbtion through the cut.

Will try a small dose of topical dut again in a couple of days

  11. A weird question guys, but relevant for me:

Could topical dut go systematic through a cut in the finger? I slightly cut my finger yesterday while opening the FUEclinic topical dut bottle. I used the other hand for the dropper and massaging the Dut in, but when I washed my hands, my finger touched the other hand.

I felt mild ED today but 1) That could've been the topical fin I used 2 days before, or 2) a nocebo

When you say you went on the website is this the Farmacia Parati website that’s in Italian?

I actually went to this site

    https://www.fueclinic.com/services/treatments/topical-dutasteride-0-1/

I filled in the form at the bottom

But I got an email from anagenica and corresponded with them- paid them and they shipped.

Oh so I actually bought from anagenica. They did send me a link for farmacia when I asked about CB-03-01. They said it was their 'associated pharmacy' and ships the CB for them.

But after re reading the email exchanges, my topical dut is actually from anagenica.

Who prescribed your farmacia version? Have you ever had issues with customs?

I just went on their website and filled in an application with a picture of my scalp. They emailed me.

No issue with customs, this is the first time I ordered it, and it came exactly a month after they shipped it

I believe the shelf life of dutasteride is lower. Even with Xyon who lab tested shelf life, they’re formula lasts 4 months vs. 6 months of finasteride.

    CB623074-6B40-4D7C-A915-CED239319497.jpeg

I think the best thing to do is to either use it more frequently 3x per week, or use a larger portion of it, so it doesn’t go to waste. It might not make sense to buy it to use 1x per week if you’re having to go through these issues on ordering it.

What I'm interested in though is, how much less effective does it become? 50% less, 30% less? Because then I could just use it 2 or 3x the amount I'd usually use it by.

It's not a big deal for me, ordering it every 3 months (it takes 30 days to ship to Aus), but still, I'm interested if it is still usable at some capacity from the 4-6 months stage

Everyone here talks also about anagenica (fue clinic) which is somehow related to dr Mwamba (I’ve heard). I have contacted them and they said they sell 60ml of topical dut and that they recommend to start with 1ml per week. Then they said the at the solution is stable for 120 days. What does that mean? That after that it’s not usable and I should throw the rest of it out or?

I got mine from Farmacia and they said the same.

I live in Australia so it's a pain for me because it takes 30 days to arrive...means that by the time it gets to me it's only valid for 90 days and I have to order after 60 days to allow for delivery time.

I wonder if it's all BS and if it lasts for 6 months plus.

I'm on TRT and I recently used a vial of Test 1 year after its expiry date...worked fine. Even after I opened it I used it for 4 months...when they tell you to discard after 2 months

Any scientists here that could gauge how accurate this 120 day thing is?

Also I have just found this:

    https://www.minoxidilmax.com/topical-dutasteride-without-minoxidil-Duderma

which is quite cheap and shipped to Europe. What are your thoughts on this?

Well I use essengen 6, the topical fin/min combo and have no issues with it. It works well.

Everyone seems to think minoxidilmax is bad, but I have found that company to be fine.

Would love to hear a review of Duderma

Does anyone else think Xyon megadosed their topical dut at 20mg per application? I began using it this week did two days in a row and by day 2 I had noticeable sides which were mild day 1. I decided to wait a week before it using again meanwhile 3 days later all sides were gone. I think the high dosing of it was the problem even if only 5% of the product goes systemic that's still 1mg of dutasteride it's the same as taking the pill. Is there any way to dilute it since its very hard to get coverage with 1 pump so half will be almost impossible to apply. I'm going to stick to 1x a week and see how it goes but rather not do 20mg at one time.

20mg per application? Why would they dose it so high? That's unbelievable.

I just started 0.5mg Topical Dut from Farmacia, I'll let everyone know how it goes.

It looks thin, but I don’t see any hair loss on top. You mentioned being on accutane, have you spoken to your doctor about the medication potentially causing hair loss? It may be a side effect that goes away.

Topical fin is really working for me. Going on topical dut as well (it's in transit to me) so I can use more of the topical fin for my donor area.

Yes I did speak to the dermatologist about it- they said it goes away after the course. But there's always the reddit case of the person who says it never recovered.

You look much younger than 34 year old, good job!

Being fully honest, I get a bit of "uncanny" feeling esp. from your eye area, are you using some kind of AI eye filters on your eyes? or did you do anything on your eye area to look like that? (just curious)

Yes I got botox to lower my eyebrows. Yeah my eyes are not my greatest strength, they are too beady. I have been told on another forum to get orbital implants, but I am apathetic at the moment about surgery. Probably in a year or two

Thanks for the complement re age, yes I almost look too young clean shaven haha

Looks good, have you considered talking to @OtherSyde and @win200 they both had full custom wraparound jaw implants. Check out their journeys.

I will brother. @OtherSyde results are great, I talked to him on his thread. My face is a bit downward grown though, so I may need jaw surgery to bring forward my maxilla and mandible first. Then probably wraparound jaw plus undereye/cheek implant.
