All I can say that they didn’t take much consideration into the density of the hair when I even asked them about it several times. At this point I feel it was a big loss and waste of my time going back and forth with them.

Hello! not much going on. Dr Sethi sent me a message that he was in Philly if I wanted to meet him but it was short noticed and I was in LA. Decided to look into another Dr next year who’s good with density

Has the beard hair grown out?

Do you have before and after pictures?

I’m wondering if I use more beard grafts to fill the front or no? I guess that’s a question for Dr Sethi

Hey Guys, Had a video chat with Dr Sethi and Mr.Hariom, very nice guy. Dr Sethi doesn’t agree that I shouldn’t have been a candidate for the surgery. He feels the beard graft takes longer to grow out, and believes I need more than the 3000 grafts to get the coverage for the front. I took some more picture and a video , and he believes that 80% of the grafts have grown out, and he wants me to let it grow again for another 4 or 5 months and then see. He maybe coming to the US in April or May, I feel he needs to see my scalp in person instead of me taking pictures , in person I feel he will have a better visual and idea of what I need to do. So, at this point it’s a wait and see until June or July. Hopefully, he does come to US and we can meet sooner.

Actually I reached out to Dr Konior 2 years ago. Very nice guy and yes he’s ethical. I sent my pictures and he told me he work with me but it wouldn’t be good coverage , be basically said it’s not worth going through with it. I was bummed out , then a year later I did my research on this site and I started seeing 3 names popping up with good results and one was Dr Sethi.

When I was in India after the procedure, the plan was to come back after the hair grows out and we do any touch up to the front if needed then concentrate mostly on the crown area. We were thinking that the front would have good coverage by now. Last month when I spoke to Dr Sethi, he told me he is coming to the US in Feb , I’m not sure if that is the case still. It’s probably better if he does see me in person than to keep taking updated pics , at least in person he can see if it’s a good idea to do another surgery.

When I went there my expectation wasn’t that high , but after talking to Dr Sethi and he was so positive getting a good coverage just for the front , my expectation went up. I went with a mindset that he has done lots of hair transplants and he has lots of experience, so with that in mind I was expecting better results than this.

I recently started using topical dutasteride

Didn’t get an explanation, but he wanted for me to wait another month. I’m open to any ideas from him, just waiting on him when he has the time. I guess what frustrated me was 30 mins before the actual call , his assistant contacts me that Dr Sethi can not make it due to jet lag and wants to set up the time again for tomorrow. I agreed, although I wish they had let me known sooner. I go out to meet business partners for lunch, and 30 mins later, his assistant sends me a message that Dr Sethi is ready now for the call. I told the guy, I’m out already , let’s just talk tomorrow as planned. From the texts I had back and forth with Dr Sethi , it seems he’s accusing me of trying to get something out of it. Not sure what he means by that, I guess he’s not happy I have posted my experience so far on here. This site was created so patients can come on here and provide their experiences with the Doctors they had the procedures with, so potential patients can learn and decide where to go. Dr Sethi is upset thinking I said his clinic is a hairmill , it’s not a hairmill, it’s quite the opposite, they have been very nice to me, I felt like I was at home when I went there, but as far as communications and the results I have so far , well the pictures speak for themselves.

I have been more than patient, but don’t brush me aside 30 mins before meeting to say you have a jet lag!! And, don’t accuse me of wanting something out of this. He’s not happy that I mentioned that his business starting to be like a hair mill, I didn’t say it was, but I said it’s starting too and he accuses me of wanting to get something out of this It’s funny he mentioned that, after putting 3000 holes in my head for a below average result He wants me to wait 1 more month , Sure I can wait one more month. it definitely wasn’t a good conversation. He’s a good man with good intentions but sometimes expanding too fast and you can’t be everywhere at the same time. It’s sad.

Todays phone call with Dr Sethi been pushed back till tomorrow because he has jet lag. This seems like the 3rd or 4th time he has pushed back But he has time for Instagram videos First time he had issues with his Mumbai office , then it was the school he’s opening so he didn’t have time and now it’s jet lag. I wish they told me earlier and not 30 mins before, since I have to schedule my day too. It’s getting really irritating and now I’m starting to realize it was a mistake going all the way to India for this kind of poor service. Like the other member said , it’s starting to look like one of the hair mills. let’s see what tomorrow brings.

That’s true , I was thinking single beard grafts not ideal but they made it sound like I would get a good coverage and now obviously it wasn’t correct.

I haven’t tried the biopsy, but when I was in India Dr Sethi saw my scalp and didn’t say anything other than that he can give good coverage. Right now I wouldn’t be ready or even think of having another procedure, specially with this procedure which didn’t produce the results I expected.
