Many theories of what trigger autoimmune diseases in general revolve around some sort of initial trauma through tissue damage or infection, which obviously fit the bill for the aftermath of a HT. Maybe the trauma and damage to the scalp triggered some sort of immune response that has brought out a form of scarring alopecia that wasn't apparent in previous examinations because it simply wasn't present at that point. 

Who knows, this is completely speculative of course, there's a good chance that you may very well be right and nothing new will show up, but I think it's worth investigating and not losing all hope. Also maybe speak to some other top names in the business, show them photos, maybe try and get a consult when they're in the UK and ask what they think happened and if you're viable for another go at things. 

All the best mate, I understand you must feel very defeated, but I and I think many others here would be rooting for you to not give in and do what you can to keep moving forwards to achieve your goals.

 

I agree. I was diagnosed with Cicatricial Alopecia after I did my scalp biopsy then I got a prescription for Hydroxychloroquine and Topical Clobestasol to treat it. Also, I take Turmeric Curcumin and Black Seed supplements for inflammation.

I feel for you OP and hope you keep moving forward.

I prefer using the foam but the liquid is better for people with long hair because the liquid can drip down to the scalp.

I've seen unnatural results from that clinic and I don't think Dr. Yildrim is a real doctor, there's no medical/educational history on their website. I would stay away.

Thanks for sharing. Honestly I think I might keep shaving too because I have Cicatricial Alopecia. Maybe my condition will improve in the future.

I agree with @aaron1234. Your donor is already overharvested and you have a lot of real estate to cover. Surgery would not be worth the cost and time in my opinion.

Stay away from Hair of Istanbul. They're a hairmill pushing technician led surgeries with no doctor involvement.

Second of all, your donor looks really thin. I don't know if you can do another surgery but you can consult with Dr. Bisanga or Dr. Mwamba, they're pros with Afro hair.

You also have the option BHT into the scar but you will need a doctor experienced with BHT to do it.

Did you only consult with one doctor? In my opinion, you should consult with at least 10 doctors so you can get a better idea of your case.

This is your third FUE and you're going with a different doctor. Definitely spend some time reading patient reviews.

Dr. Bisanga and Dr. Mwamba are probably the best when it comes to afro hair. They are based in Belgium though.

DHI is still a FUE procedure but they use an implanter (choi) pen to implant the grafts. It's not something new.

It's one of the three main implantation techniques:

1. Pre-Made Slits.
2. Stick and Place.
3. DHI

Try taking your medication with food while sitting straight up

Have you consulted with Hattingen Hair in Switzerland? They have good reviews on this forum and the German one.
