Hi, I am a 35yo male who has had 4 scalp reductions/7 transplants since 1991. I started with a new doc 1.5 years ago, having 2,050 grafts the first time with him...all went really well...I just had another done by him Oct. 2nd...1,550 grafts..I haven't seen any growth...maybe a few...I do know what to look for by now. I had 500 singles placed in the hairline both times. I realize growth is not as apparent with existing hair, but still, I think I should be able to see new ones..last time, 3.5-4 months showed good beginning growth..I followed all the same post-ops...graft cyte products, gauzes, proscar...I even went as far as coloring my hair this morning to see if I could find them...still hardly any growth ( a few)..I don't want to contact him yet...after all, he's the guy who slices and dices me...lol...I guess the real question is, can growth be different in the same person with the same set of circumstances...Funny, a guy with as much work as I have had done, asking this...but still...thanks for any help...
