Congratulations and very happy . By month 3, the new hairs begin “popping” through the scalp. By the end of month 3, approximately 30% of the hairs have penetrated through. 40% have come through by month 4, and 50% by month 5. By 6 months, approximately 60% – 70% of the new hairs have fully penetrated through the scalp. By the 9^thmonth, approximately 90 – 100% of the hairs have “popped” through the scalp, and most of the changes of a hair transplant from that point forward are due to maturation.

Very glad on the progress . Any reason for 5Mg Propecia ?  . As research papers point that 5Mg and 1 mg have no difference in results  . 0.2 Mg of Fin is 80% of 1 mg . Many I see combination of 0.2Mg  Fin + Saw Palmetto (380Mg) plus combination of rice water sprey , Onion water to aid in . I see HRL shampoo has these ingredients . But applying on head and leaving for some time can also be helpful 

Melvin : what is the thoughts on Oral Minoxidil ( Lonitin ) or Dutasteride which says more effective than Propecia . But both are big box warinibg medications and not approved for hair 

All pharmacies carry Generic Brand of Lonitin ( I got from Costco ) . But after going through the big box caution on side effects . I stopped using it . 
 

I am on Propecia 1Mg/alternative days from last 1 year . No side effects . On and Off on Minoxidil Foam . Very difficult . Itchy , Hair structure changes . Here is what some of the reputed doctors preferences what I understood based on various notes 

1. Dr Ron Shapiro ( After HT , Doctor advise is to use  Propecia and Oral form of Minoxidil ( Loniten)

2. Dr Konair ( Only Propecia . Does not believe any other medicines including Exossomes . There is wonder drug other than HT and Propecia . )

3. Dr Hasson Wong ( . Prefers - Tropical Propecia than Oral Propecia . )

4. Dr C ( Preferes Tropical form of 5% Minoxidil and 1% Propecia from Compounded Pharmacy ) 

I also came through many preferring on Dutasteride, which works much better than both Propecia . However both Dutasteride and Loniten (Oral Minoxidil) are not FDA approved to be used for Hair and come with lot more side effects .  I am off on Tropical Minoxidil -very painful to use just remaining on Propecia 

Progressing very well  . Are you using anything in combination with Propecia . Like Tropical /Oral Minoxidil  ,Dutasteride ?

I use " Ashwagandha "  along with Propecia . Ashwagandha is natural "T" booster and will balance any side effects of medicine . I have researched many journals . It is working me very well . No side effects and same horse power . I am currently 50

Buddy , any update . can you share your latest photos of hair growth . I planned to have my HT with Dr. Ron Shapiro . Your advise and experience will greatly my decision as I could not take decision from 6 years with the selection of doctor
