Really great result. If you get 4500 grafts in only the frontal region of the scalp from a top clinic then it wouldn't be unreasonable to be unhappy with anything less than this however.
-
That kind of density in the front with just over 2000 grafts is one of the better results I've seen. Great work!
-
This is quite simply a dream result.

Brilliant. Bisanga is an excellent surgeon. Seems like many grafts were concentrated on the hair line. Can we also see photos from above?
-
That's ridiculously good, such dense results with only 1600 grafts! I've seen less dense results from people getting double the number of grafts in a similar area.

As promised.
Here are my photos at a year (march 2018):
Here are my photos pre-op (march 2019); 2 years (not wet/wet):
Looking back it appears that my 1 year photos look better than my 2 year photos; maybe that is because I have lost hair from the midzone? not sure, could be the light or the haircut in question too.
Nevertheless. Still a massive improvement on what I started with!
Are these considered good results for 3000 grafts in the frontal area? I've seen others get dense coverage with that number. This looks average at best for 3000. I guess it also depends on the hair characteristics of the patient.

I would also be interested to see how the clinic handles cases like this, where things don't go as well as expected. 3.7k grafts is a lot.
-
Feriduni reviews are probably relatively few because his prices seem to be quite a bit higher than his highly rated Belgian colleagues.
-
What a result, especially with 3000 grafts. Is the patient on Finasteride? Why does the crown look so much better in the after pics even though no work was done on it?

Really looking forward to the result, please keep us posted

Hey, do you have a 1 year update?
-
Quick question about something that concerns me. Do you stay in a hotel for a few days after the transplant to let the grafts settle or do you fly back straight after surgery? Does Bisanga's clinic say that you can cover your head if you decide to fly back immediately or will covering your head potentially dislodge/damage grafts?

Haha really? Small area to cover, and of course, there was nothing to look at back then, but yeah, big difference. Thanks god I had lots of multi grafts
Btw went out today and look what I came up with:
A bit of dermmatch, a bit of fibers, a bit of hair styling product and a bit of hair spray. Can't believe how good it looks. When people have a hair transplant, this is the result they dream of

Man I remember watching your videos in April-June and I was thoroughly unimpressed by your transplant, I've just seen your latest video and the result has blown me away, incredible, congratulations.

IMO it's an ok result, the other Diep results I've seen online sort of lead me to believe that every one of his patients end up with a really dense result but I don't see that here. The donor also looks a little concerning, almost over harvested, especially on the sides, that might be because you keep your hair very short.
-
It looks a lot better than how I thought it would look after seeing your video. It's not a hugely dense result but from what I've seen, Medikemos say wait until 15 months for your final result, so maybe there's still some thickening up to do. Do you know what your recipient density was? How does it look when combing backwards from your hairline?

Hi Forklift,
Did you get any feedback from the doc on your situation ?
I am interested because I got a HT from him three months ago.
How is your result progressing? Do you have a thread?

I have not considered Lupanzula, I wasn't vibing with their results.
my estimated donor density was 70 on the sides and 100 in the back
Thanks, what about Donor capacity? And how is after care at Bisanga's clinic? Do they offer to wash your head the day after the transplant?

well let's not jump to early conclusions. He was always very professional and the procedure itself and the rehab was super smooth, there can be many external aspects impacting the success of the surgery. Some people claim the total graft count was low and the transplanted hairs turned out quite thin. I will let you know once I have feedback from the doc.
Yeah, my question looks a bit harsh, not my intention, I just want to know if other users have had a positive recent (2018-2020) experience with Dr Lupanzula. There was a lot of excitement about his results 3-4 years ago but I haven't seen any recently. Would be good to see recent positive results from him, in comparison Bisanga seems to be hitting almost every HT out of the park at the moment. In Europe people seeking a high quality HT usually pick between these two surgeons and a couple of others.
-
Sorry to see what looks like quite a poor result from such a respected surgeon. Are there any recent results for Dr.Lupanzula where the results are as expected?
-
Another great Bisanga result, wow.
-
Hey, thanks for this write up, I have a few questions. What was your estimated donor density (usually between 70-90 hairs/cm2 I think) and number of donor grafts available?
Also did you consider Dr.Lupanzula at all?

looks really great, what a change! you must be happy you took that decision. I'm approaching 6 months now and I wish it looked that good.
Did you also go to Dr Bisanga?

I think it's all about your goals and realistic expectations. In my opinion the difference between the before and after is massive. I appreciate some peoples results are fantastic and others are terrible so I guess it depends on if you have realistic expectations. I am more than pleased with the result and also note I am only 5 months in from the touch up so probably have at least 7 months more growth/maturity to the end result. I am always eager to see and Learn about other people's experiences and their results, have you got a thread?
No thread as of yet. I am considering Dr Bisanga for a surgery. Having realistic expectations is indeed sensible, but when you're paying top dollar for one of the best surgeons in the world your expectations have to be high. I'd look around and see what others have been able to achieve with 4000 grafts.

Dream result, amazing. Can you post details about patient donor capacity, donor density, hair calibre etc?
