As the others have said really, I’d really avoid those two clinics you mentioned and offering a free second surgery doesn’t sound great to me. Personally if they mess up the first time, I wouldn’t want to risk wasting my donor area on that clinic. Abroad is honestly the best option but can’t exaggerate enough to research the surgeon and check the surgeons results on here. I’ve used Dr Demirsoy on turkey and he is brilliant, loads of positive results on this forum from him. I know of a few friends have had theirs done in the UK and results have been so poor, you’d barely knew they had it done. Only decent surgeon in the UK really is Dr Reddy but he is big bucks and still not amazing imo

Yeah, UK it’s expensive and shit besides a few doctors. There’s also a lot of pushy sales people involved. Remember you not buying a car this is a life changing surgery that you can’t just go back and change if it goes wrong.

Also OP, your donor area looks good. So you could get a good result with the right clinic.

  2. I heard of giga plus fue offers from Harley street medical and they are ones to avoid. Maybe they got another branch in Glasgow with same offers and new name. Which is what a lot of these crap hair clinics do. Just checked they are linked to Harley street medical.

I also never heard of Dr Valvis. Can’t find any results of him from here, so personally I would avoid that. If you want to travel there are better doctors in Belgium, Spain, Portugal and Turkey. I know it’s tough travelling now. There’s also Dr Arshad in Leeds.

Thanks mate. If its bad i will have to redo it and spend more money and well honestly i have so many things gone wrong my life i tend not to worry and care anymore. Ill spend 5k and re do it. I was just curious here because i am stil in Istanbul and now have the chance to act if needed.

You making it sound like you going to the hairdressers. You can’t simply redo a hair transplant, if it was that simple we’d all have a full head of hair.

  4. No because anything can be photoshopped or enhanced on Instagram.

Go to a forum read real life experiences with untouched photos from actual people.

I seen that hair of istanbul place. They got a lot of followers, but nobody here knows who their doctors are who the hell they are. They probably bought their followers to make it look like they some real deal. I had a look at any results on forums for them and could not find any, which says it all.

  5. Guys a person here for a decade has no reason to shill.

OP ask yourself why you are making this thread? Because you can’t find any genuine info on this clinic besides Instagram and let’s be honest anything can look good on insta. There are no threads about this forum and that should set alarm bells ringing. If you have doubt then do not go through with it. There’s no real info on the doctors working there. It’s not worth it especially for price they charging. Go to Demirsoy or the other better Turkish doctors that actually have results on here. Remember Instagram is just another advertising tool. This forum is not advertising tool.

    Hi Guys,

Just a quick follow up - I reached out to Dr. Demirsoy's assistant Muzzafer as per your advice. However, I had a little strange experience. Upon asking all the details and pics, and much follow up from my side, he came back to me saying my donor area density is low and the result may not be great. I got back to him saying that I'm not expecting a miracle and am just looking for a reasonable result. However, he stopped responding to my emails. So I'm just assuming Dr. Demirsoy won't be willing to take up my case.

My belief now is that I will probably need other donor hair like beard to have a decent result, and this makes me think of @Portugal25's experience with Dr. Kaan Pekiner. I tried reaching out to doctor using the website directly as well the phone number and email id listed on the website. The call never went throught and it's been a week no response to email. @Portugal25 would you kind enough to share with me what's your current status like and how best to reach out to the doctor? Would you be comfortable in recommending Dr. Pekiner? Thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing from you.

    MJ

Got any pics of the donor?

Bear in mind Demirsoy is one of the most ethical doctors in Turkey, so if he’s telling you the result will not be great then that is alarming. He has nothing to lose by telling you that. If you have a hair transplant with him and it doesn’t go well then it will be one of those cases as usually most of Demirsoys results are solid.

Obviously best to ask from four or five doctors. Try not to ask any of these run of the mill Turkish hair factories because they will give you the same generic quote. Ask some of the high end doctors.
