You also said your result looked like this one -
To me, these transplants look entirely different in terms of success so far. Right? Despite being similar graft numbers. Idk just wondering.
The 3339 graft case looks good, just saying with more grafts it seems less successful then that 2400 graft person?
I also disagree that our results don’t look similar at all… but we are also in two different situations. I’m guessing I’m much younger and I caught my hair loss pretty early, I had a successful transplant mixed with some finasteride and I have had better results than I could have asked for. I’m not sure of his situation but with his amount of grafts it also looked like he had a little bit more area to cover than I did. I’m not expert though just sharing my thoughts!

Looking great! It's gotta be a great feeling not worrying about your hair and living your life
The scar looks like it stretched a lot, do you have an idea why? Usually I've seen Bloxham with some nice pencil thin fut scars, so surprised by this one tbh. You could always get it reduced and/or some FUE grafts/SMP on it to cover it up.
Thank you! And I’m assuming it’s just my genetics the way it healed up, it was never even close to as thin as you see some of them. And that’s what I’m thinking, gonna go for something a little more permanent such as FUE

Woah that is a wide scar but great result on top. Have you thought about getting FUE grafts to camouflage it?
You aren’t kidding lol the picture does make it look worse then it is… I haven’t had any trouble with it being visible but it definitely needs addressed. Don’t want to have any more surgery but if some FUE could patch it up then I would be game for it

I have almost the exact same result (recipient and scar). What are you looking into to have the scar reduced/camouflaged?
Are you happy with the recipient site? mine could be beefier but its passable
I am honestly not totally sure yet it’s kinda stressing me out lol, there’s not tons of options but I know what you mean, mines pretty good, way better then before anyway

Greetings everyone, I’m finally back to give you guys an update. Life has been crazy as I’m sure you all know but I hope it’s treating you well! It’s been over 2 years since my FUT procedure and I can say that I’m satisfied. This made such a huge impact for me being such a young age and I can’t say I regret it at all, although I do wish I would of weighed my options a little more. If I was to do it over again, I would of went with FUE instead because finasteride has been working amazing for me. If I would end up losing the rest of my hair in the future I could just shave my head. But since I went with the FUT, I now have to figure out some way to deal with the scar if that happens. All in all I’m super grateful with the result I got from it and I definitely can’t complain but I am limited to about a #4 to #5 guard which could be much worse I suppose. Im in the process of trying to reduce the size or visibility of the scar… it’s about 1.4cm wide. The picture makes it look much larger. I’m not blaming the doctor for it by any means, It may just be the way that I ended up healing unfortunately. I’m gonna attach some pics and I’ll make sure to stay logged in to chat or answer any questions!

Awesome result Tb12! I was hoping you could share more of a close up as the previous image was from a mirror at a considerable distance. Do you mind sharing a close up how your hair looks now at this stage?
I will get some pictures up get some updates for you guys!

Can you realistically see it getting to a level where a 3 or 4 is possible? Nontheless, the hairstyle looks good.
I only ask because usually Bloxham has some good scar lines where cutting it a bit shorter is doable.
I do believe so, I think I’m just a little slow on the healing process. I’m going to get a haircut in a couple weeks I think, I’ll get it cut short and update you guys

Looks good..
Has the scar stretched at all? Does a 3-4 expose the scar?
I think mine took a little longer to heal as it’s still shrinking and filling in. I’ve lost most of the redness, I can go down to 4-5 right now, 5 being a little more comfortable.

The graft prices for this clinic are literally comical.
I compared many prices that were very similar. I felt comfortable paying a little more for a reputable doctor who would do a good job. No regrets.

Greetings everyone, it’s been one crazy year to say the least, I haven’t been as active on here as I want to be so I apologize! I will get some more pictures here soon I just snapped one quick this morning on my way out. Things are coming along pretty good, my scar is finally starting to get better that I can wear almost a #5 on the sides. I do have some trouble styling my hair as it dosent want to lay or style the nicest I guess but I can’t complain it’s still a World of a difference. I hope you all had a good Christmas and have a safe new years. I’ll update soon and if any of you have questions done hesitate to reach out!

Did Dr. Bloxham say where he expected you to end up on the Norwood scale?
No kinda hard to tell

Just over 2 years ago with a Dr in Florida. I’m Looking to have another one as my results were not up to par and I’m leaning towards Dr Bloxham
This whole virus definitely threw a wrench into things didn’t it lol but you won’t be disappointed man, best decision I’ve made

Starting to look really good ! Don’t stress the scar. When I cut my hair short like yours around 4months the scar looked the same way, it’s the shock loss in the area around the scar. Patients is key and the hardest part! 6-7 months you should be very happy with the scar and the new hair. Congrats
I think I will be having a second procedure with Bloxham this November 🥴
Thank you! And oh yeah? How long ago was your first one?

So far so good. The scar will likely improve over time, I was a little worried about my own at the 3 month mark and now I can barely find it. You're going to be feeling great over the next few months.
Awesome, I appreciate the input!!

FUT: 3,339 Grafts by Dr. Bloxham and Team

I definitely agree, my scar site is not pencil thin but I drew the short stick with genetics and healing and my recipient site is also not as thick as normal but compared to what it was before the surgery it’s a night and day difference and I just have to be thankful for the results I received. Totally agree with a little weak behind the hairline.
