Looks clean, did you stay there for their 4-day post op cleaning?Β

Do you plan on shaving it off all again on round 2? I have a friend who went to Dr. Laorwong too for his crown and he didnβt shave the top. Only donor got shaven.Β
Interested to see Laorwongs work on the crown with the no shave option. Has he got a thread on here?
-
I went September 29-30th. I should have a elevator post op pic in my photos somewhere tooΒ

How many grafts were put in the temporal points?
-
What day did you start rubbing the donor area when washing? Iβve got thick bloody scabs on mine.
Β
Also why day did you start rubbing your recipient with water?

Hello and apologies for the time off. I just actually forgot completely. These Are some photos from around 11 months or so as I have shorter hair right now I thought I would post these instead to get a more comparable set of photos. Hairline is not completely straight as you knoe but Im very happy with my thickness and everything. Donβt know if I will be making any updates but will still be acitve to answer questions/ keep in touch
Β Nice, post how it looks with shorter hair. Would be interesting to see if itβs possible to see the scalp as much when itβs shorter.

How did you manage to get the crusts away so quickly at day 8? Most people have them off at around day 10 or more.
I'm going in 2 weeks.

Alex booked me at Atakosk which is right in front of Pekinerβs office at walking distance but I changed to Green Park Hotel myself. There was nothing wrong with Atakosk and the food was real tasty but itβs just that last time for my first surgery I was at Green Park and made friends with staff there, also absolutely loved the view. I just decided to go with familiar setting.Β
Dr Pekiner feeds you a lot of food in his clinic during breaks and itβs so tasty. I didnβt eat much hotel food during surgery days, just slept through all day.Β
Cash
I am just boarding my flight now, spent extra 6 days after surgery because I figured I am investing so much into my hair surgery, whatβs a few extra days. It makes such a big difference, I donβt feel sore going through airport stresses and donβt have to worry as much about bumping my head and losing grafts. They should be secure by now. Also very pain free and no more dizzy. I know some people take off the next day though and you can totally do that too.
Get a really comfy and big neck pillow. It will make the difference in whether you can sleep or suffer through the post-op period π Also go in winter and not summer but itβs too late for that. Ankara feels something magical in winters.Β
Β
Enjoy, youβre going to be so pleased with both the experience and the results InshaAllah ( God willing ).Β
I actually stayed at the Greenpark hotel during my consultation and was thinking of staying at the Atakosk hotel as Iβve heard you could possible order food from the Yemeksepity app which is like Ubereats, you canβt order food into Greenpark.
Iβm looking to stay there for a week in total to give time to heal and maybe explore around.
Weβre you able to persuade the dr to do more grafts or was he dead set on 2000 grafts?

Nice! Iβm going next month. Few questionsΒ
Β-What hotel did you stay at and how was the room service food?
-Did you pay in cash or crypto?
-How many days are you resting in Ankara?Β
-Any tips whist travelling there or in the airport?
-
What food do you order from the green park hotel room service? How would you rate it?
Β
I'm going to Ankara in Sep.
-
Which hotel did you stay in and what food would you recommend?

Insane results for 5 months, thanks for updating us.
Β
Did you have to sign a contract with Pekiner? I received an email with instructions and pricing info from the clinic, but no contract. I sent my deposit, and Alex confirmed the receipt along with the surgery dates. Not sure if I need to do anything other wait, but it's hard to get a response from him.
Leading up to the surgery date heβll ask for more info. You are put on his diary so you wonβt me missed. When you you book for btw? Iβm going in Sep.

I'll PM you, so to not de-rail the OP's thread
Can you pm me the reason as well? Iβm looking at both

Youβll notice a huge amount of your results within 6 months, to be fair Iβve seen some crazy results at 3 months with some pekiner patients on Reddit. Thereβs been quite a few of them that skipped the shedding phase.

4 Year UpdateΒ
Itβs been more or less 4 years since I had my HT, and while I remembered I thought I would upload some photos where I havenβt really been active on here the past couple of years.
Still the best decision I ever made in life getting a HT, itβs indirectly had some very positive effects in other aspects of my life.
Still very happy and take 1mg of fin every day barring a Monday where Iβll take Dutasteride instead.Β
First 2 photos is me 4 years ago, the rest of the photos taken today in the harshest lighting in my house with 1 photo outside too.Β
ΒCheers guys π
Β
Any examples of how it positively affected your life? Iβm looking to hopefully get mine done this year

Congrats man that's looking like a full head of hair again. Expect nothing less from Dr Pekiner. I've just had my transplant with him today - currently at the air port waiting for my 8 hour transit flight lol
edit: how old are you btw?
Are you starting a thread detailing your progress? How many grafts did you get?

Looks great! Were you taking finasteride and minoxidil right after the surgery?

Hands down, Pekiner is by far the best and most skilled surgeon in Turkey. Will have a consultation with him in a couple of days, really excited.
In person or online?

Hi guys
i was wanting to find out about more surgeons that have a great skill when it comes to mainly using the donor up well to where you can keep the hair very short and it wonβt be noticeable.
Plus the Dr should be the only person touching the head.
I know Zarev is one of the best but what would you guys suggest?
