What do you mean with injured? Its just red pink, and a little bit dry. shedding have started lost loads of grafts what else?

I mean, the scalp looks healthy. No bleeding, peeling, etc. When it returned to its normal state, I started using minox. I'm not doctor, it's just my experience.

Can i use minoxidil 5% after 22 day when my scalp is red after the hair transplant or shall i wait for the redness to dissappear? Will it really matter if i use it?

Hi. In my case, the redness on the scalp remained for more than a month after the transplant. I started using Minox 2 months after the HT. But it is better for you to contact the doctor who did the hair transplant.

I never understood why ht  doctors only advise to use for a few months.

Probably to give supply to the transplanted hair and increase the survival rate of the graft.

I've been informed that after cancellation of minoxidil, the native hair will return to its previous state. But as far as I know, cancellation of minoxidil should not affect the transplanted hair. And it was my conscious choice to stop using minoxidil or use it for life. If everything remains as it is now, it will suit me. If the loss or thinning continues, I will most likely start using minoxidil.

Or maybe someone has experience canceling minoxidil after HT? Because honestly i don't know what to expect.

  4. Hi guys. Here is update 1 year and 3 months after HT. For 5 months, since January I have stopped using minoxidil. I started using it about 2 months after HT, and used for 8 months as the doctor said. And I can say that something changed after I stopped using it. Some part of the hair is gone, and the hair  became thinner. If during the day the hair becomes greasy, then lighter areas on the head are visible. So far, I observe how the hair behaves. And I'm considering whether to start using minoxidil again.

  5. Hello guys. I'll tell the story as it is. After the transplant, I'm very careful with my hair. But. I met my new girlfriend, and in certain "moments of passion", she played very hard with my transplanted hair. I didn't tell her that I had hair transplants. After that, there was a some amount of my hair on the bed. I was a little scared. I want to ask, does new hair grow back after it has been pulled out?

Yeah, wearing your hair styled like that looks a million times better, IMO.

Looks fantastic already, you must be delighted. I actually prefer your latest photos with the hairline exposed and pushed up. Makes your hair look thicker 😊

Thanks guys, but at the moment I just like to grow long hair as I couldn't afford it for a long time. Maybe in the future I'll think about the style :)

Can you style your hair backwards or up so can se the hairline placement?

I tried:) I just combed my wet hair back after a shower. It was difficult because i already have quite long hair. But I think from the photo it will be clear what you asked about. And, definitely, this is not my style :)

Looks like above-average donor area and likely lots of doubles and triples for that quality of coverage with under 4k grafts.

During the surgery the doctor's assistant said that a good amount of double and triple grafts had been harvested.

The area above the nape of your neck looks thinned out. Not sure if it is the haircut or if you have shock loss in that area.

I'm not sure what is this, because I didn't notice it before. Perhaps I got to a bad hairdresser.

Considering your level of loss and the amount of grafts used I would say this is a fantastic result.  Looks very natural and I would suggest there are plenty of donor reserves in the bank for the future in my opinion.  How has it improved your self confidence?  Looks fantastic mate congratulations

Thanks! About self-confidence. You know, I wore a cap all the time. With a cap and without a cap, they were two different people. Now, of course, I like the way I look. It's like I came back when I was 20 years old. Also, the donor area on the back of the head really has a good reserve. Soon I will post a photo of the progress for 8 months, and also show the donor area.

huge improvement, congrats. how does it look styled?

Thank you guys! I don’t style my hair, don't comb my hair up or otherwise. I've always wore fringe hairstyle, and at the moment I'm growing my hair.

P.s. I was worried about the angle of hair growth before the surgery, as I've seen photos where the transplanted hair was not at its natural angle and grew straight up. But Dr. Demirsoy has done excellent job about this, the transplanted hair has a natural growth angle, so I can wear bangs as I did before my hair loss.

  11. Hello  everyone. I want to share my experience with hair transplant. This happened in February 2020, at the Armamed clinic of Dr. Demirsoy, Istanbul, Turkey. I had 3592 Grafts transplanted, the surgery took about 6-8 hours. And i'm very satisfied with the result in 6 months. Everything was professional and top notch. I'd also like to express my gratitude to Dr. Demirsoy, his associate Muzaffer, who organized the transfer, hotel accommodation, and informed on all issues during the event, and also nurses who have done their job professionally. I don't know what to add, i'll just show the photos before and after.
