Nogomi

The weird thing is that I don’t. My grandpa on my mother’s side had almost all his hair when he died around 70 years old and my dad who is 60 has only very minor hair loss. Admittedly my grandpa on my dads side did start losing his hair at around 40 years old, but I see no reason to think that my hair should start falling out at 17. I have looked at my crown and it looks no worse than it was 1 year ago, so I am mostly just confused.

Hello again, thanks for responding last time, but I have a few more pictures I
would like you to look at. I have some friends who have a triangle shaped curve at the edge of their hairline. I believe this is normal and is a mature hairline and I’m wondering if mine is that or a receding hairline.

On my mother’s of the family I have no uncles. My grandpa had a little bit of hair left when I knew him by the time he was around 80.

I’m 16 and this whole year I have been anxious about hair loss. I don’t have any old pictures to compare to. The hair near the end of my side part seems to be thinning. If I am balding what am I supposed to do. I’m still in high school...

Thanks everyone for your answers. Both my mom and dad who are 60 still have lots of hair and I’m not noting a lot of hair falling out so I think it was a false alarm. I had never seen the back of head before so I was worried. My crown just seems to have more scalp than others but I guess that is not a sign. Again thank you all for giving me your opinions.
