Glad you waited and saw it settle down by 18 months. I always didnt see a true final result in my own HTs until around the year and a half mark.
It's incredible how it changes after 1 year isn't it. I was quite happy with it at 1 year to be honest, but it really softened near 2 years after. Nobody stares at my hairline anymore!
I think it's as good as it will get now, although not perfect... I've learned to stop obsessing over it. Certainly with what's happened this year with the pandemic. It's kind of puts things into perspective with what's really important!

The SMP look is really good. You look neat and sharp with the buzz cut look !
How many sessions did you have?

Spidey your result is incredible. Hope you're pleased 😎

GregHair that is one of the most ‘natural’ hairlines I’ve seen that was not created by Mother Nature! Many people would kill for that result. I agree that if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
Ha thanks Gatsby, that's nice to hear!! I'm a finicky soul by nature being an artist and designer. I do tend to obsess over details greatly ! 😂🧐

This looks brilliant Matt. You must be very happy with how it is turning out!

That's the goal of this thread, i'm glad you guys are finding the benefit.
I have this problem all the time. Indoor photos of my hair look great but when I see photos of my hair in bright light / or sunlight on my friends Instas I sigh ! I think I'm the only one who really notices tho 🤔

Great job. Very natural. You say this is 2 years post op. How many months did this take to mature fully?
It looked really good at 10 - 12 months, though after about 1.5 years everything settled and softened nicely.

I'm still thinking about a touch more 😬 Westminster Medical Group said it's possible, though not much at all, they also think it looks good as it is and that I shouldn't really touch it. It's just that frontal peak I want doing. Hmmmm 🤣

Thanks gillenator - I think you are the voice of reason.
I guess everybody wants more... I'm happy though 😀

Thanks chaps. Whilst theres always room for a little improvement, I think I'm just being over-particular in general.

OK thanks chaps, I think I'll put the idea to rest 👍

I don't see why a little extra density could not be added. Maybe use the same doc as before and certainly one that operates on only one patient a day.
I was thinking of having just a little more in the section I highlighted below. I'm not even sure how many grafts thats is? I'll send them a photo and see what they say anyway out of curiosity. I had the hairline softening op with Dr. Rogers and Dr. Sebastian at Westminster Medical in London for those asking 👍

Ok interesting, thanks for the responses. I think I'll sleep on it longer!
I just can't help but feeling that it's a little light at the front still, and I'd like more of a wall of hair again. To be fair I did request a very soft hairline to the team.
Maybe I'm just going through a phase... and as Melvin said above probably chasing perfection. Hmmm

Hi all,
I wondered if I could get your opinion on whether I should thicken my hairline up a little more?
To briefly explain, I had a small FUE op 2 years ago to soften a hair transplant I had roughly 6 years ago. The original hair transplant was good but I always felt that my hairline looked a little 'chunky' and slightly unnatural and I would often have a fringe to disguise the hairline. After looking into hairline softening procedures online I selected another clinic where the surgeon used thin hairs and loosely placed them across the hairline to create a more 'feathered look'. I felt more confident combing my hair back following this procedure, though now I am questioning if I should have another pass to thicken it up or am I just being obsessive?!
My only question is - does it look too sparse now? Should I have another pass to improve the density a little so that the density looks more inline with the original hair line density? I'm 33 and opted for a more mature hairline.
I've attached the two photos below for comparison.
Opinions please!
Thanks
