If their was a pot of cream that could get you results like that without any surgery in twelve months, it would retail for £10k a pot.
Enjoy !!

I would imagine any transplanted hair that has not shed by week 6 is ok to buzz off, as long as your scalp has healed properly and you have no skin condition.

I buzzed my native hair including donor 3wks post 1700FUE. I'm now coming up to 5 weeks and will probably still look ok until 6 weeks, then i will have to decide if i am going to buzz it all over including the recipient area. I will probably buzz it all 6 weeks and keep doing that until 4 months is up.
So to recap.
- Head buzzed by Surgeon day 1
- 3 weeks in i buzzed it all except recipient
- 6 weeks i will buzz it all including recipient
- Then repeat that process 9 wks 12 wks 15 wks and possibly 18 wks
- After 18 wks i will start to let it all grow out and see how we go
- If native hair grows quicker i will buzz again every 3 weeks until recipient can keep up.

No real pain for me 1700 FUE, i have plenty of tattoos, on a pain scale i would put tattoos at a 6 or 7 depending on where you have it, FUE HT i would put on the scale as a 1, in fact the injections at the beginning were the worst part but even that was only a 2 on the scale. Root canal pain, now that is the mother of pains.

buzz your head weekly for 3 months, then watch it all grow back together, rather than suffer the ugly duck stage. tell your colleagues what you have had done. be honest and genuine, thats my advice. good luck made2care.

I’ll be brief. My main concern in moving forward with a transplant is long term detectability. I have seen great pics and not so great pics. I visited with Dr. Konior and he was wonderful but of course no one can guarantee that it will be completely discrete and undetectable. I am not referring to post op but rather the transplant itself. Anyone have pics of themselves in real life and not in an office that aren’t super close up? I find it very hard to tell with these super close ups. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I almost pulled the trigger but panicked.
Can't you take a two-three week vacation ? Have the procedure on day one, then jet off somewhere to recover. It wont matter who see's your healing scalp they'll all be strangers.

Coconut oil, just a little gently rubbed in and left over night, or longer if you can, my hair is buzzed short so i just leave it and wash it out after 48 hours, and repeat.
-
I look forward to posting my score at 12 months post, currently i'm only 2 weeks post.

Rate your FUE results from 1-10, if you have had more than one FUE procedure rate them collectively.
1. Very much below expectations.
2.
3.
4.
5. As expected.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10. Very much exceeding expectations.

I don’t have a choice either way. Konior’s clinic caps FUE at 2000, regardless of how many day.
how did your surgery turn out? What Norwood were you?

I wouldn’t do more than 2000 fue in one day, you don’t want them to be rushing, stick with your plan.
I agree on the rushing. I think how long a procedure takes is more relevant to a quality job than how much you paid. I had 1700 FUE in just under 8 hours, apart from a short break of maybe 15-20 mins it was all go with the surgeon and 3 tech's.
-
1000 in the black hole is 1000 gambled, you could get 800-900 or 0, or worse case scenario -1000. Place your bets gentlemen.
-
But why ? You paid for them ? And if they grow that's what you wanted wasn't it, if they don't grow you won't have any to get reversed will you ? Am i missing something here ?

If your willing to accept the risks then surgery is for you
If your'e alive, your'e 'at risk'. So why not 'risk it' and live a little ? Hope you can get that chip of your shoulder sometime.

HATE what I'm saying because it's not what you like to hear it's called the stark truth about HT people think it's a permanent cure but it's not again it's only a mere prevention.
Hate ?? Are you having a laugh ? I'm 51yo, i have no time for hate, whatever situation my head finds itself in later life, i'm sure I will be able to get over it, i wont go slashing my wrists open or getting depressed about it.
When i was born i was on my own, orphaned at birth, straight into the care of the authorities, i had nothing, but i had plenty of hair on my head.
I'm now 51, i have a huge family underneath me, my hair decided to vanish, but hey ho, i got my family.

absolutely not, it was a very truthful thread that was intended to educate not put people off, which was very successful seeing as it got thousands of views can you not see the threads i make which state "MY OPINION" , i have no idea what an earth your on about regards to Racism , please stay on topic of this thread, if you dont like what i write or say then you can also turn a blind eye cant you, but you must be intrested in what im saying because you seem to come and comment.
Are you worried about something? are you insuecure about something? im here to help
lets be clear my argument is
You have a transplant in your 20s, once it starts thinning in your 30s 40s (typical age for thinning hair) where does that leave you? back where you started? or worse off? as you have less hair to play about with
please contribute
For people looking for a HT, your opinion is of no use unless you have been through the procedure yourself. If i want to learn how to cook a nice roast beef dinner, i don't want to listen to the cooking advice from a vegetarian. .

Big ballpark .....4000-9000

If you are not happy then you should get it sorted out before you return. Good luck.
-
You should be admired for posting this information considering the sad state of affairs you have been through. I hope you can get it sorted, age is on your side. On a side note to others, homework homework and some more homework. The bad practices exist because some people do not do their homework. Good luck in your quest.

Hi JacksOn, who did you get your HT with?
Dr Farjo clinic in Manchester. Dr Rachael Kay was the surgeon.
Is this normal after 19 days? Bad procedure or shedding?

If you never mentioned it was a 19 days, nearly everyone here would of guessed it was about weeks 2-4, that's how normal that looks so don't worry.
What's not normal is that you did not expect any shed loss, did you just walk in off the street for surgery with no research at all ?
