  1. Hi all, I posted the below in the wrong forum section earlier this week. I'm pleased to have found a place like this, this will hopefully help me find some answers. I am 32, male. My hair has been receding and thinning on and around the crown for approximately 18 months. For the previous 8/9 months I have been using regain, first of all the foam and now solution. However to my mind this is doing very little or nothing to reduce the amount of hair I am losing and I do not appear to be experiencing any re-growth. I have in the last week spoken to Belgravia, 1mg Finasteride and their version of 5% mixdodil is at ?245 every 3 months has been proposed to me, some seem to think it’s great and claim it’s worked well with stopping the loss of hair and re-growing a percentage of the lost hair. Whereas others seem to believe that this is overpriced (probably agree). Apparently Belgravia's variation to Regain's minoxidil is much improved and can secure better results? Our Minoxidil 5% + MPG is very different to Regaine. It contains Medroxyprogesterone (MPG) which is a DHT blocker (blocking the cause of your hair loss). Also, the consistency of it penetrates the follicles more deeply and thus forming a barrier with the MPG deeper. I'm yet to try finasteride, I certainly do not have money to throw away but I really want to act as quickly as possible to hopefully start seeing some results. Since this original post, I have been put in touch with a doctor who has offered the following, I am a bit of unsure of what exactly I require and what the best combination of medication is. The following was put forward, by this particular well known doctor who comes very highly recommended on here. 5mg Proscar MSD 5mg generic finasteride 1mg Branded Propecia If I use a combination of the above do I discard the regain minoxidil, do I use a different minoxidil from another provider and what is the best combination. Confused!! Please advise, any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks very much.
