Gasthoerer, Risk-wise you have a point and I understand that. I truly do. Because I made that mistake myself. An aggresive-straight hairline while I'm still losing hair... And I regret it now. Having nightmares over it! But I still don't think it applies to this case. If you look at OP's hair line, it's V shaped. (like widows peak?) It starts low but goes higher on temples. Anyway if his hairline was brought forward, It would've been more straight. What I meant by his 'natural hairline' was that the hairline he kept before HT. Judging by his before photos, he had a strong hairline. It wasn't totally gone. He kept most of it. I still don't think they could make it any higher. How could they raise a hairline that is there already? Anyway no hard feelings. I know I sound like an ass sometimes. I hope I didn't offend you in any way. Let's hope it works out well for OP!

I think you just have very fine hair. Considering more than 4000 grafts were taken from your donor area, it still looks good to me! You still might have another 2k in the bank which means your donor is not really weak at all. I wouldn't call it strong either but very normal. But hey, this is just my opinion. I'm no expert

Thanks Hariri! It was an interesting read. I didn't know Dr. Keser had that kind of issue before. Quite shocking. Really suprised me. Never seen him doing it on Turkish patients :eek: Unfortunately I'm not familiar with Dr. Yaman He has a few cases in these forums though. By the way if you don't mind me asking; I couldn't find your photos after you had surgeries with Dr. Doğanay & Dr. Karadeniz. Have you not posted them like you did with Dr. Rahal? I think I might have to follow the same route as you did in the future... I've had my HT 2 months ago but I am already regretting it. Hairline is too straight and a little (less than a cm) lower than it should've been. Even though it's a very minor problem and I have yet to see any results I'm sure I will not be happy in the end. Besides I can already see they have planted some doubles on my hairline... F**** techs I'm telling you In the future I might try electrolysis to reshape it. Or just pluck it till unwanted hairs die. They say plucked hairs grow back. But few years ago I got rid of my widows peak just by over-plucking it. I think it works with me :confused: Anway the looks of our hairs probably don't mean much to people around us but only us. I'm a perfectionist just like you. Hell I might be even obsessive! Anyway... I've been wondering why you went with FUE instead laser or electrolysis for your graft removals. Are you happy with the results?

Hey Alex, just checked your first HT with that clinic called Sante. No way in hell they transplanted more than 1500 grafts. It might be even lower than 1000 grafts. What a scam artist that doctor is! Still, consider yourself very lucky. At least they did not waste your precious grafts. You lost some money but that's it. Could've been a lot worse. Now you are on the right path my friend Are you from Montenegro?

Are you talking about Keser? If you need 4000 grafts, he will turn you down anyway. He is very selective. If you need 4000 more or less and are not up for being in a chair for days then go with Dr. Erdoğan

If you think Dr. Erdoğan is selective than you have not met Dr. Keser ASMED gets lots of NW5 / NW6 patients. Erdoğan will turn you down only if you have a weak donor. He likes to work with high numbers so...

This is true for most but not for all. Keser and Pekiner work with lowest numbers possible.

Go with Keser. He is better than Erdoğan when it comes to create natural looking hairlines imo.

Can't you see they did NOT lower OP's hair line? Agressive-Conservative debate does not apply to this case. I don't know what those clinics told you but I don't think it is smart idea to 'higher' a natural hairline. I mean even if it's possible. Who the f*** does that? :confused: You say low hairlines might look weird when you are older. First of all, OP's hairline is not really low. It's a perfectly normal hairline. Between 5.5cm-6.5cm (sorry for the metric system) is considered normal not low. Besides, have you ever seen an old person with a low hairline? I have... It looks great! Just google. Man, you are either ugly or good looking lol. Your hairline being 5.5cm or 6.5cm does not really make a difference on that. Still, let's say they gave OP a more conservative hairline (which wouldn't have looked natural on him anyway). How many grafts do you think he would've saved? 500 or 1k? Do you think It would make a huge difference in the future? I don't think so. If he grows that 4k grafts with high survival rate. He probably won't need that 1k that he could've saved. Even if he DOES, I'm sure he still has at least 2k in the bank Plus OP has stated he was on propecia before and it worked out well for him. He also said if he kept losing hair, he would start taking it again. PROBLEM = SOLVED. I do not understand why some of you guys are pretending like OP is destined to be a NW7 in the future while he is clearly not. I think some people here confuse negativity with reality. If you have a low hairline like OP and a stronger donor as you say then I would say go for aggressive hairline. Aggressive = beautiful.

Hi mikey thanks for the warm welcome. Pekiner's work reminds me of Keser. As far as I know, he worked with Keser before HLC Clinic. So It's quite possible he learned a lot of things from him. I think he started his own clinic like 5 months ago so I've yet to see his 'finished' work. I've seen only one of his clients in person and he looked fine for just 4 months. There are few other guys at bellicapelli forums who had their HT's done by him. They are updating their situations monthly. You could keep an eye of his work at there. It's too early to speak about his success rate but he looks very promising. I guess only time will tell.

Yes my friend I had mine just 2 months ago. I've a low hairline by nature (at least what I've kept of it till now) just like yourself. However the problem with my new hairline is; its going to be too straight for my likings. I wish I had it done like yours (you know more of a V shape) But whats done is done I can not do anything but wait for the outcome. If I don't like it, I will get it fixed. It's not end of the world you know. Its 2018 and I've seen miraculous repair HTs. Besides I don't think mine would be hard to fix so I'm not stressing about it that much

OP you should've asked for this. Punch out your natural hair line and have them placed at the back of your head or something I'm sure you would've looked just fine when you were 80 years old

Your hair line looks fine. Not too aggressive, not too conventional. It is perfect. You will look perfect with this even when you are 50. Regarding future hair loss; I'm sure you still have at least another 2K grafts left at your donor area. So even if your crown gets thinner as you get older, you could always get a second surgery to fill it. And then you will be set for life

Spot on Hariri! You are right about about pretty much everything you said. There are a few good clinics charge as less as €1500 per session run by technicians. But cosmetics or not this is a serious surgery and I believe doctors must do the most work. This is why I'm only recommending doctors. But I know few technicians that are more talented than actual doctors as well. Though it just doesn't seem right for me to make such recommendations. By the way I've seen few people from here went to IOH Clinic. All the work is done there by technicians and price is quite high for it (€1.5 per graft). And I've seen only bad results from them. They are very problematic when it comes to refunds as well. I could go on and expose all the bad shit about most clinics in Turkey here but I don't want to get myself in legal trouble later on over nothing. So I'm not going into details much About HLC; I should've mentioned that they are based in Ankara and they don't have branch in İstanbul. As far as I know they charge €2.5 graft. Maybe €3.5 is their BHT price? Anyway I would rate them below Dr. Keser & Dr. Erdoğan. I believe these two are the true pioneers of HT in Turkey. Everyone else here comes after them not before. If I was willing to spend €2.5 per graft I would've definitely went to ASMED but If they rejected me due to weak donor? Then I would've definitely taken my chances with HLC. You should check their videos on Youtube. Esthetica is notorious but there are waaay worse trust me Such as Arena Med.

Hello Hariri! Merhaba dostum. I've heard of Serkan Aygın but I've not seen many of his work therefore I do dot have much to say about him. He is not very popular in Turkey amongst Turks. I think he gets lots of Arab and Italian patients. Correct me If I'm wrong but as far as I know doctor himself does not do much in the surgery and let his technicians do the work. That being said he has many impressive HTs at the bellicapelli (italian) forums. U might wanna check it out Hariri, I'm happy you stopped by and said hi. I've been lurking for a long time and I'm aware of your HT journey. I'm very curious about repair HTs and I've read about your journey here. You are a true HT vet.

Depends on what you are looking for. If your hair loss isn't that bad and you are only looking to restore your hairline or fill your crown; I would definitely recommend Dr. Keser. He will probably reject you if your hair loss is bad though He does not use any technicians and does it all by himself. Time consuming, but worth it. If your hair loss is bad then I would say go with ASMED. Dr. Erdoğan is a master FUE surgeon and from what I've seen he has a fantastic staff. Their extractions are super clean. They work with very high numbers but still leave you good looking donor. Dr. Erdoğan's results speak for himself. I think most of you are aware of him anyway. I think both Keser and Erdoğan are fantastic doctors but they work in very different ways that each other. I respect them both very much. If your donor isn't really strong then you could consider HLC Clinic. They are good at BHT. Also another good thing about this clinic is they are responsible of their work. I've hear of them giving full refunds after bad hair transplants. It is very rare in Turkey. I also think Doğanay is good with implanter pen and BHT. But I've read horror stories about him here so... Last and least I believe Dr. Pekiner is a promising doctor also but he needs to prove himself since he just left HLC Clinic and now working on his own. I like his work. He works real clean and he does everything by himself just like Dr. Keser. I think he has potential to be a top fue surgeon but only time will tell. Those are just my honest opinions.

I don't claim to be a HT expert or anything. But I believe I can provide useful information about Turkey/İstanbul and Turkish doctors/clincs since I've been researching some time now. I I've seen hundreds of results in Turkish forums which most of you have not heard of. When someone asks for a Turkish clinic, I can provide result photos from other networks etc. I've noticed some people have been victims of marketing here. So why not help to prevent more people from getting hurt?

OP, sorry to hear that you had a bad HT before. As an Istanbul native, I've never ever heard of a clinic called Sante. How the hell you people find out about those clinics that even we Turks don't know? I think you have made a good decision by going to Dr. Doğanay. He is very experienced at repair transplants. You will be fine

I went to Dr. Tayfun Oğuzoğlu. It's been only 2 months so there is nothing much to tell but I am not happy so far because I've made a huge mistake by getting an aggressive hair line. It looks too straight. It's mostly my fault because I wanted it. But I believe as an experienced doctor he should've advised me better and stop me. If i only knew all these things about HT I know now I would've never wanted it this way. Unfortunately I've done most of my research after my HT I know I will need a second operation in the future because my hair loss is slow but not stabilized yet so I've been doing a lot of research. I've seen tens of hair transplants (good and bad) of most Turkish doctors/clinics. So I am here to share precious information about Turkish docs/clinics since I'm such a nice guy
