  1. Hello, I would like to tell you about my trip to Turkey to do a a hair transplant. I had a problem with my hair loss under many years, just felt thin and thinner and soon no hair at some parts of my head. I had done some research before but was never sure if I would do it because i was worried and had heard one after another about different operations and what results they had. Either it was too expensive or it was a bad result. But then, I found a clinic “Institute of Hair” that I somehow felt good about despite being new in as a clinic. (The Operations Manager has many years of hair transplant experience) I contacted the Swedish Representative of Institute Of Hair, Nazli, and send my pictures and some information about me. It was not long before Nazli contacted me and sent a clear email to me with how many graft I needed and on which parts of my head. The price was actually quite ok. Costed 1.5 euros per graft. After many questions and discussions, I chose to do the surgery. Got a price list from Nazli with hotel and transfer included. Booked a date and then I booked my flight down to Istanbul. Then I would send a deposit of 1000 euros to their bank account within 10 days, of course they would 1000 euros apply in the price as well. The day before I went to Istanbul called Nazli again, to ask if I felt good and was ready. She also told me that they will meet me at the airport and then take me to the clinic to make a plan of how the operation should be and what to do. When I got to the clinic I met Cagla, who would be my patient coordinator. Nice and happy girl. She welcomed me to the clinic. Later I will meet the operations manager and her team. The operation leader name was Elif and she made different measurements on my head, and decided how the hairline would look, they took blood samples and did different tests on me. Then they shaved off my hair. Lastly, I made my payment. Payment will be in cash. The surgery will be the day after, would take about 6-8 hours and last for 2 days. I was a bit nervous. Did watch some movies / documentaries and it felt a bit better and then they started with the operation. We had time for lunch and then we continued. It went well but began to get tired of sitting so I had to take a break. After they was done and they took me back to the hotel. I thought it would hurt really bad and not be able to sleep but it actually went well and got some sleep. Was most hard to sleep with the neck pillow. The next day they picked me up from the hotel. We talked a little before the operation with the team and they asked how my night had been and my nurse Berivan washed my head and then back to the operating room. They gave me local anesthesia, and then they started again and Elif, the operation manager, showed me my graft because I got a little curious. slept a large part of the operation and woke up when the operation was almost over. Then I felt that my had was heavy and started to hurt. Took a few hours before for the pain to disappear. After the surgery, Cagla told me what to do and how to wash my hair, to be careful etc and how many graft they transplanted. Then the driver first drove me to the hotel, picked up my bag and then to the airport. Nazli called me every other day and checked how I was and how I felt. It felt good for me that they contacted and asked how I was. I will send pictures from before and after the operation. I'm glad that I chosed this clinic! * Update Sends with images from 12 days after surgery. Now I have washed and cleaned my head. I still don’t feel so much on my head but I’m so glad already.
