  1. Actually I heard a lot about people that have used fin and it caused them a lot of side effect that made them stop using it. I'm using minoxidil twice a day , so I guess this must be worth something close to what fin can do for me. The option of smp/trico I haven't checked yet. I thought so far that "hair simulation" is something that is used by people that most of their head is bald and they want to simulate the appearance of very short hair cut (very small dots that will simulate hair). My baldness is mostly at the crown area, and most of my hair has hair (and my hair cut is not short) , so I haven't thought such option can be relevant for this type of common baldness.
  2. Hi, I'm 35 years old. Using Minoxidil for 10 years. I don't use Propecia (prefer not to). Most of my hair lost is around the crown area - I guess can be "fixed" with around 2500 grafts. Also my front hairline has some hair lost that I guess can be fixed with around 1000 grafts The issue is as following: I know that in several years from now, I will continue and loose more hair in my front hairline and also at crown, and therefore one advise that I got is to put my hairline as first priority and "save" as must hair as needed for the front hairline- and till then, use hair fiber to conceal my baldness. On the other hand , its the baldness is the crown that I think is worse. I can say that so far, I'm able to completely hide my crown baldness with 1 minute use of hair fiber (but of course, it would have a lot better if I didn't had to use concealers every day). What do you think my tactic needs to be when considering my first hair transplant surgery ?
  3. I use product like "just for men" even on short hair, so even after shaving hair, after 2-3 weeks there is enough hair to color, and if I won't color it, people will notice me walking arround with hair which is partly gray. And they use to see my with a black hair without anything gray. Regarding the advise of coloring my hair before the procedure - it won't help as before FUE all the back part and side of head are shaved/cut very short. And I heard that none shaved FUE are very limited and very costly. Actually no single doctor is doing it in my country. What do most of people do in regarding to hair coloring post operation and hiding gray hair ? can there be that one of the home use coloring products (such as just for men) are allowed to be used 2-3 weeks post operation ?
  4. No replies? I'm the first one that raises those questions ?
  5. Hi, I know very well that after having a hair transplant surgery, it's not allowed to color the hair for at least a month or even more. I'm considering having a hair transplant but I have the following concern: As many other men, I color my hair every few weeks using a 5 minute shampoo ("Just for Men'). Because some of it turned from black to gray. Now, I'm well aware that I will need 1-2 weeks recovery time before being able to go back to work. .I understood that after 2 weeks, the marks in the donor area are not visible any more, and the marks on the scarp - i guess after 2 weeks I will be able to hide them using hair fiber. Remaining question is: For FUE surgery , the back area of the head is shaved - and even after 2-3 weeks I won't be allowed to color the hair that grew. Does this mean that I will not have any other choice but to go for several weeks with my natural partly-gray hair ? Any suggestions ? I guess I'm not the first person that asks this question.
