  1. can no one help answer those 2 queries ?
  2. I`ve finally taken the plunge and have surgery booked in for next month. I do though have a few little niggles I hope someone here can answer well. I`m unlike many here - a Norwood 6 or 7 looking to do something rather modest. I simple want to restore the "island" at the front forlock and maybe link to sides. I`ll still look balding but I`ll not look bald or a cueball which is a big difference for me. The said Island has stayed throughout my slow hairloss journey but as it is now fading now is the time to act. I was turned down on many online consultations but a face to face meeting with a top surgeon said there is certainly something he can do as long as we are realistic. (certainly are) So to my questions - - I`m constantly hearing people speak of "weak donor." (mine is average or slightly below) My understanding is weak donor simply refers to the density and thickness. i.e if the hair is DHT resistant it will implant sucessfully. Many on here and other sites seem to suggest donor hair has a lower survival rates from those with "weaker" donor or high norwoods - I dont think this is correct. Can someone confirm? - After the surgery my plan is to have a number one hair cut. (I just want the hairline darkness from hair) I know all about FUE scaring as it`s everywhere but how about the actual grafts? Will these look ok? Thanks in advance
  3. So you did visit him for a consultations(s) beforehand? Those pictures are JUST from CRLab stuff? Wow
  4. Hairman300 - Did Dr Saifi request you to come for the consultation months before the surgery? It would seem not from below? I`m currently also chatting with him and have been very pleasantly surprised at how approachable and talkative he is. My one concern was his insistence to come months before to analyze my scalp and buy the Crlabs products to get my scalp/hair in order first. No one else has requested this and it worried me he only wanted to sell this stuff. I always didnt fancy 2 trips. The issues you have had with donor area it would seem to validate his belief you should always have pre care to solve problems like yours and maximise reults. That`s why I`m curious you didnt go beforehand to remedy them? Congrats on operation btw, looks good.
