@goodwally can you not see how in your first video you posted, how 3200 grafts to cover that area could never be natural density? lmao you’re fucking delusional old man. also look how dark the video is compared to the pre-op pics lol. this is the type of guy to buy informercial products

Are you that blind to see how good the results were from the video, and how I posted 4 more? Hahaha.. youre a jealous baldie. Didnt you say the following in your profile?

    >> "Describe Your Hair Loss Pattern: Thinning Hair Loss All over the Scalp"

Not our fault youre too bald to attract any women.... Hahahahaahaaaaaa

The video would be for you, because you are painfully unaware of the realities of hair transplantation. @Gasthoerer is actually right.

Those videos were meant for you since youre in denial of the great results many of you wished you had. Who was your dr again? Mind if we compare your results with couto's?

Right, lets look at my result then:

Proof you're deluded? I strongly recommend you read and reflect on this comment you wrote, specifically how hypocritical it is and the projection involved in case you're beyond figuring that out.

    Right, lets compare with couto........

Heres video proof of 5 diff cases.. not pics like you posted. Read em and weep. Youre channeling now.. pent up anger from jealousy. In other words youre triggered. Dont you wish couto treated you. Lmao

Hahaha... righhht. Like you know other drs with the same stunning results. Of course obtuse and uneducated guys like jayldd dont know hair while stuck with shitty transplants. Lets all look at your hair result. Who was your dr again? Erdogan?? Bahahaha.

Come on, do not embarrass yourself. No one laughed about this lame joke the first time. It is not getting better if you repeat it like a 12 year old. What is next: You tell me to use microscopes?

I am here for years, and I tell you what: Every long term poster here knows Couto. It is not like you found a secret wizard.

Even if you neglect the medical things like growth rate and risk of necrosis, and bring it down to simple math, it is clear: You have to create the same look with less = Illusion. Most people here have severe balding with a recipient well above 100 cm2. To achieve a 80 cm/2 density throughout, one would need >8000 FU. How many cases are here with > 8000 FU? And even if you would achieve natural density, you would have to deplete your donor by 40 to 50 %. The same illusion has to be achieved there. Natural look with 40-50 % less grafts/cm2.

P.S. I bet, not even Couto himself would claim he can achieve full natural density throughout. He is a master of his craft (no one doubts that), but also a master of showcasing his results. He is selecting only examples with great hair parameters, while using clever lightning, pseudo wet hair, and clever styling when combing though.

Dude youre overreaching and getting angry af. Its not that serious if youre wrong. Take a water break you need it.

    1. Ever heard of glasshouse and stones? No there isn't. In this very forum there is maybe one case, which comes close (aftermath' case). Show me 5 cases in this forum were natural density is achieved. Not 5 cases which look like natural density (cause this is the illusion), but real natural density between 70-110 FUE/cm2.

    2. & 3. Fun fact, obviously you need the reading glasses, as I gave more than "every case is different": HGI, hair diameter, … do I really need to list it again cause your start barking before you finish to read the end of the paragraph?

    1. Check out dr couto in spain. But of course you'll come up with excuses as usual.

    2. Nah you actually need them with high magnification.

    1. That is nonsense. 99.9 % of all HT are illusions and if they are not it is because it is a special case and not because this is a clinic who found a holy grail. Even the best clinics have to achieve with 45-60 FU/cm2 in the hairline what nature creates with 70-110 grafts. In the crown we are talking 30-45 maybe 50 FU/cm2 what natures does with 65-110 FU/cm2. Think about it: If the illusion would not work, one could not harvest grafts from the donor.

    2. Simple: Every case is different. Even if the amount of grafts is the same, the area is not the same, the hair angles are not the same, the hair/scalp contrast is not the same, the curliness (is this a word?) is not the same, the HGI (Hair / Graft Index) is not the same and the hair diameter is not the same. Add length and hairstyle to the list. On top of that is the survival rate.

You are not convinced? Simple example: Doubling the hair diameter equals 4 (!) times the amount of grafts!

    3. You owe me 10 000 USD 😉

    1. You dont know hair transplants. Theres a few ht results that have shown high enough density that illusion isnt necessary..

    2. "Simple: Every case is different." Uhh thats what I alluded to.  duhhh

    3. Keep the $10000 to buy reading glasses

  8. Unfortunately I agree that in the great majority of cases hair density is nothing more than engineered illusion. But there have been a few ht drs who've done work so well with density that illusion isnt needed. Man I wish that were the case in at least most ht procedures.

But this begs the bigger question.... why are some ht results more dense than others when using same technique, same dr and same amount of grafts?????

I'd pay good money for an answer to that!!!

congrats Craig. ASMED killed it.  I got 3600 grafts from ASMED 23 October, so I'm almost 3 months post op...  got a lot of thin hairs coming thru... ughhhhh the wait is killing me.. spending way too much time in front of the mirror looking for new growth... were u doing the same thing at 3 months? or did you somehow just not think about it ?

I can imagine what youre going through. It feels like an eternity. If I were you i wouldnt look in the mirror every day. Spread the days apart. Hang in there!

England and Scotland are different countries with very different people but they are both part of the United Kingdom and have the same language (with different accents).

Spain and Portugal are not only different countries with totally different languages but Spain still has a monarchy and Portugal has a Republic.

My advice if you decide to travel to Europe is to avoid saying this at a Bar because if there are Scots listening you will get a black eye (watch Mel Gibson’s “Braveheart” to understand why) if there’s a Spanish he will shout at you relentlessly and if there’s a Portuguese he will probably buy you a beer and try to enlighten you.

Dr. Bruno has his own clinic in Portugal where Rolandas has his surgery booked.

Other than accents and minor cultural differences theres no difference between a brit and scot. Spain's and portugal's languages are similar so theyre not that different.

Dont see any difference between a spaniard and portuguese other than a spaniard is lighter skinned than the average portuguese and similar language.

You've never been to england since I've had long winded discussions in public in england about this with scots and brits. My family is scottish, english and french.

  11. 22 hours ago, Portugal25 said:

Goodwally saying a Portuguese guy is Spanish is like saying a British guy is French (makes no sense).

I’m pretty sure Dr. Bruno is proudly Portuguese like me so maybe don’t tell him you want to keep thinking he’s Spanish (if you ever talk to him).

Dr Bruno Ferreira and Dr Bruno Pinto are the best in Portugal.

Dr. Bruno Pinto has dozens of results on the Spanish forum recuperartupelo.com and Bruno Ferreira will surely be having results here soon as he is trending now and for good reason.

Portugal25's analogy of a spaniard and portuguese makes 0 sense. Like comparing a german to an italian. English and scottish makes better sense. Even then theres no difference between a brit and scot. Dont see any difference between portuguese and spaniard.

He does practice in Spain. Wonder why not portugal..... smh

It is hard to verify what either of you are saying to be true or not, I agree that having a long wait period doesn't mean you are more ethical or a better surgeon. At the same time, we don't know if he does or doesn't follow up with patients.

Well youre talking to someone who knows cuz I dealt with the office directly on several occasions until I gave up. There are also others who've complained about couto namely his schedule on the euro forums. Your comment is unfounded opinion since it isnt based on actual experience dealing with his office.

You can be the best surgeon in the world I dont care. If you lack good bedside manners, disrespect patients, dont make an effort to follow up with patients, and act negligently youre no surgeon to me. I'll take my biz elsewhere to someone who truly deserves it. Thats me!

Been  to a couple of clinics where the dr.s were disrespectful. These type of dr.s always take a backseat to my respect. Like I said I'll take my biz elsewhere if thats the case.

7 years shows how good that doc is.  He doesnt need to be part of any forum or so called organization(s).  Probably, the one doc that doesnt need heavy marketing.  Probably has a lot of ethics.  Very rare to find a doc with such a backlog.  I hope he does not decide to work with anyone as that can be the downfall.  He needs to remain as is.  I heard he goes out his way to make sure all patients are happy, very rare nowadays.

But couto's office doesnt follow up with patients. Patients have to keep abreast with couto's schedule via his secretary which should be the other way around. Cant deal with an ht doc that behaves this way. This is definitively not "going out his way for his patients."

You guys I don’t want to go through a bad transplant.  Any recommendations for a hair system to cover the bald spot in my pic?  I emailed the cutuo in Spain, but have not received a response.

If you mean dr. couto in spain dont bother. Hes backlogged 7 years with patients. Yes 7 years bud. Youll have to wait that long just for an eval. Then wait again for the actual surgery.  Sorry for breaking the bad news to you. But thats how long hes standby list is.

Yeah, I am not a dentist, and the doctors in the quote I brought aren't a dentist, and your dentist who tells you it is safe isn't a dentist. And everyone who doesn't validate your concern isn't a dentist.

I mean if you think standard is safe, why did you even make this thread? if 18 is standard then it is safe by your logic? And just for the record, I didn't say standard isn't safe but again you fail to understand that.

Do the math, you get exposed to radiation on daily basis equal to 1 periapical X-ray  mate.

And everyone in this forum told you they have never heard of 16-18 X-Ray being  standard,  even those in USA. And it is the country that is well known for overdoing tests.

Thing being safe doesn't warrant its overuse. As health practitioner you always prefer to be conservative as much as you can. If you can 5 instead on 10 you do that.

The one last thing I would say, and I would say it as an honest advice: There is an actual strong evidence of correlation between Psychological factors and oral cancer/ cancer in general (this was actually my master thesis, done in prestigious UK university) among infinite number of health issues. You are obviously dealing with some stress/anxiety that I hope you will try to tackle, I know it is easier said than done.

-"As a dentist myself" then you said "Yeah, I am not a dentist"... Smdh. Yeah you got your degree in trollology.

-"I didn't say standard isn't safe but again you fail to understand that." This is what YOU said: "theres a difference between standard and safe." In the dark on top of denial.. smh.

-"you get exposed to radiation on daily basis." Youre clueless. Never heard of people getting brain cancer from the sun. But theyve gotten them from dental xrays as the link states.

-"And everyone in this forum told you they have never heard of 16-18 X-Ray being standard." No they said it was unusual. Denial of the troll. And heres proof of that many xrays in 1 session: "A full mouth series of 18-20 radiographs (all the teeth) using “D” speed film is equal to about 85 µSv. “D” speed film, long considered the gold standard in dental imaging." Keyword "STANDARD"... Duhhh.    Link: https://www.deardoctor.com/inside-the-magazine/issue-8/x-ray-frequency-and-safety/

-"As health practitioner you always prefer to be conservative." But you admit youre no dentist especially denying 18-20 dental xrays isnt standard which the link above proves you wrong.

-"There is an actual strong evidence of correlation between Psychological factors and oral cancer/ cancer in general.." Theres also strong evidence of psychotic factors and troll behavior resulting in delusions of proclaiming online to be a medical professional like a dentist. Ring a bell?

You lost this one dude. Dont keep embarrassing yourself, dentist of the internet. Good luck.

A biopsy was done and into surgery I went where they removed my entire right lung.  It was stage 4 lung cancer.

And for guys over 40, it's critical to have your prostrate and colon checked on a routine basis.

So true. My aunt had colonoscopy done 5 years ago,. Found cancer everywhere. Docs told her few more months wouldve been too late.

Thank god youre doing better. Keep up the good work here, love reading your posts.
