  1. sorry to bump, but what can I do? I'm kinda scared after what mattj said... I'm fairly sure I don't have MPB, but this introduced some doubt. Can someone with experience comment?
  2. The guy at the hair transplant clinic sited the left side shot as showing that its not a typical balding pattern but some form of alopecia. And yes my hairline hasn't changed, I've always had these patches... my frontal hairline is still intact but there are 2 distinct patches. I'm not quite sure which is worse, MPB or another form. My GP took one look at my hair and said this wasn't MPB, same with the guy at this transplant clinic. I asked my mum and she says she always had to tell the hair dresser to be careful not to cut too much away in those areas, I even remember her doing so a couple of times and that was back when I was in junior school (Age 7-11). I got scared back then because the hairdresser commented about someone she'd known who's hair had fallen out completely. Its the only thing I remember vividly. It also doesn't help that my brother, father and mums grandfather have perfect hairlines...
  3. Yeah its exactly the same... Its hard to say whether I've had this my whole life as I didn't pay much attention to my hair. It used to be quite long and always conceals my hairline. Oh and the hair transplant clinic was: http://www.hshairclinic.co.uk/ There advice was to see a dermatologist and if that didn't work, I would have to wait until I'm 20 before they will perform a transplant.
