Hi All, I'm a 30 year old man with hair that's been thinning and balding for about 11 years. Been on finasteride for 4 months or so and noticing a bit of a difference. Now though, I'd like to make a bit more of a noticable difference, so have been looking at transplants. I've been in to a couple of shops (I live in london) and have had the sales pitch. I wanted to post on here and source some advice and direction. So far I've been quoted at around 2-3000 grafts just for the front. Quoting in and around the region of ?8000 which is a reach for me. Three things I could use help with in particular. 1) Is it worth looking abroad, both in terms of price and in terms of skill of the surgeon. 2) My hair is blonde, which you see far fewer examples of, is this a potential issue or something we would have to approach differently. I've attached front and back of my situation. As you can see, I'm far gone.. but not too far gone. Any words are useful!
