I live outside Arizona and met Dr. Alexander, Biltmore Surgical Hair Restoration, when he held appointments in my town. I was very comfortable with his manner and was looking for someone who specialized in transplants full time rather than as just one of many procedures offered in a typical general plastic surgery office. Some months later I traveled to Phoenix on a Sunday. Was put up in very comfortable accommodations, had the surgery on Monday, and flew home on Tuesday.The experience with the staff and Dr. Alexander was excellent. All very professional and efficient. I was expecting to get 2500 grafts and Dr. Alexander was able to do 2700. It's been a week since the procedure. My wife took the stitches are out, went smoothly once she got the knack of it. Hairs are growing in the transplant area but I gather that's just temporary and will fall out. The first couple days after surgery were uncomfortable with some swelling and pain but a week out that's just a memory. The test of course will be how it looks in the future with new growth but so far I've been very pleased that I chose Dr. Alexander.
