  1. So I feel the need to write in here. When I first started looking into SMP I made a post asking for some recommendations in my area and since then, I've got it done. I didn't want to be one of those guys that didn't follow up. This is my personal opinion: First off I can only say that from what I have seen, the only convincing solution down the SMP path is Tricopigmentation. I'm sure there are convincing results done by talented tech's with SMP, but I could never shake the feeling that doing permanent SMP would be a huge gamble. Was the tech up to snuff? Was he having a bad day? Is he new? This is hairline design, very different than getting a normal tattoo. This is my head and I would have to live with the result. If I was not happy with the result I would then need to laser it off and that was enough to not make me want to gamble. I've been shaving my head down to the scalp for 10+ years, but I hate being bald. I have a decent shaped head but because I am a norwood 7 it always bugged me. I would wear a hat all the time. I looked into hair transplants 10+ years ago and never did it. I looked into it again and decided I would do it if it made sense. Well being a norwood 7 sucks for transplants. 20k+ to cover a third of my head and my donor area is not long enough to keep going back. Honestly having to transition to the transplant lifestyle after shaving my head for so long didn't sound so appealing either. I saw the results from 2 places that were CONSISTENT and insanely natural compared to all the other places. Ahead Ink was one of those and since I live in North America this was a no brainier for me. I met with Erik via Skype and we chatted. I shared my concerns and he walked me though the process. Really the factor that made me decide on Ahead was knowing Erik was not a tattoo artist, but rather someone who walked the hair loss journey. This meant to me that he understood which in turn made me trust him. Of course the results from Ahead also made it easy:p. Anyhow, I went got it done and yes my life is changed. I fucking love it. I'm a new man. My wife loves it, my kids don't notice, my family doesn't notice. Because I mostly wore a hat I had some leeway with co workers. Maybe 2 of my friends have looked at me thinking something is different, but luckily I mistakenly messed up my beard and had to shave it off which ended up being a distraction as well:). Thank you Erik!!. You changed my confidence and life and offer an amazing service. Here is a before after pic:
  2. Hi all, I am so confused as to where to go. I just started my research and thought I was lucky as I live in Toronto and apparently there are good practitioners here. Well I've been going through forums and now I'm not so sure. I feel like it was a great place a year or so ago, but most talented practitioners have left(maybe picked up by other places/countries for higher pay). I have an consultation at HIS in Toronto, but am feeling mixed up as I see on here, they have gone through some issues as well as possibly newer practitioners. Is there any good other options here? Thanks
  3. The work you guys do is amazing. Are you only located in Italy?
