Thank you! Finally I reached my 3rd month.

Here are my Day 90 (March 22) pictures! The next months are going to be interesting and exciting!

Some notes: I'm on Day 35 only with Finasteride, these pictures (and the rest) are with flash if it ain't obvious and I always trim my hair that's why it seems it doesn't grow in these pictures (I gotta cope with the ugly duckling phase which is now over.)

I had to endure it and suck it up (and oh I work at the front desk, it sucked) but now that I'm on Day 86, I'm glad I'm out of it.

Day 5 post op

Cracks are getting worse, the gaps are completely devoid of any grafts, really don't understand why this is happening.

I also had those cracks (I also underwent HT with ASMED) and now I'm on my Day 86 and so far everything looks fine to me.

I'm so sorry about this. A year ago I almost consider doing my HT with him. I still have his brochure.

Shuriken, I tell you the next 10 days things will really start to ramp up! 10 days ago to now I'm amazed in just the change so far! Also I love the hairline design you got! Can't wait to see it! Have you noticed much growth rate difference between your hairline and crown?

I'm on Day 82 and I am seeing lots of little hair sprouting. It's a joy seeing them grow. My temples are really improving fast, however the improvement on the crown is kinda slow but I see mini changes as well.

Patience is the key! I keep reminding myself to not stress a lot!

you should be extremely happy you're seeing any growth at only 2.5 months ... and it will not all come in at the same time, even at 6 months you may have one side that lags behind another - but eventually it all does blend well once the HT fully matures at 12 months or so. congrats and continued success growing!

I am quite satisfied with every positive change. I can't wait to see more growth!

Just a quick look at your case, looks good but get the fk back on finasteride mate. You've got general thinning all across the scalp and a weak donor, the "discomfort in the groin area" is a common side that occurs for the vast majority of finasteride users and disappears after the first 2-4 weeks. It's stupid not to be on finasteride in your case, you're not being "safe" by getting off the drug due to a non-issue when a much larger one is going to arise without it.

How do you know if your donor is weak? I forgot to post this but I'm back 27 days ago using Finasteride and this time I'm not feeling any sides aside from watery sperm and less morning boner.

Hello. Here are my March 07 photos, or Day 75. I must say that my temples are really improving, but the crown and the front hairline has yet to improve. But hey! I'm only on my 2.5 month! Patience patience!

Hello everyone! It is my Day 61 (February 21) or two months. I think that the shedding has stopped (is there more to shed? lol) I have seen little hairs sprouting on my temples already and I am looking forward to seeing them grow!

Well this thread inspired me to push through with the HT. Do you still experience zero side effects from finasteride?

Hello! To be honest, it is still too early to tell for the results, but I am very optimistic about it.

The clinic treated me very well and they really make you feel secured and comfortable. So far I am satisfied. I hope this helps.

Looking great! I'm going through the ugly duckling phase too. 54 days and starting to see white fuzzy hairs everywhere. How's your donor area looking? I get the occasional pimple and still a little pink (but I'm pretty fair skinned).

 

Your graft placement looks great and the hairline looks nice and thick at the front! Very excited to see your progress!! Happy growing!

Hey thanks man! My donor still has some little pimples too and sometimes get itchy but I guess it's normal. Also my skin is darker so it kinda conceals everything. Happy growing to you as well!

i had mine done at ASMED on 18/1 and 19/1 5000 grafts in total. i bought Ph5.5 shampoo from Turkey and plaining to use it after i finish with ASMED shampoo

Here are my February 02 (Day 42) photos. It's been shedding horribly and I hope that this ugly duckling stage will pass rapidly. I don't even how to cut my hair in a way that it will not be too obvious. Apparently there's now way to hide the shedding. It sucks but it will get better.

Shurikan - which doctor did you end up going with? If you were considering Dr Yaman I highly doubt you ended up with Erdogen as there is a huge price difference. Dr Yaman is a recommended doctor here and has produced great results. Unfortunately this case didn't end up good but we don't know if this over harvest or shock loss. He needs to post more pics of pre and post surgery of donor area. Don't be quick to make decision on a bad case. If you dig deep enough you will find a bad case on every single doctor.

I actually went with Asmed, Dr. Koray Erdogan. To be honest I know that it will cost me but I expect nothing but quality. But before considering Asmed, I had a live consultation with Dr. Yaman but the lack of positive results here made me not choose him.

I am so sorry. I almost considered Dr. Resul, now I am glad I didn't end up choosing him.

I still have a few foam and shampoo at this point. Can someone recommend me a good shampoo after I finish the ASMED shampoo? Thanks!

Hi, today (December 30) I think I have decided to quit on Proscar. In just a week I am experiencing the side effects. I am really feeling discomfort in that groin area now. Better quit now than suffer more later. :mad:

Hi Shuriken. Like you on this Christmas Eve, I'm sitting here in my comfortable computer chair with a swollen forehead and eyes. I washed my own hair last night for the first time too. I think I made the mistake of sleeping a little too low, well probably a lot too low ... basically flat last night and of course that's probably why I'm so swollen today. My right eye looks like I took a left hook in a boxing match that I lost. Oh well.
