Hi guys, Sorry for the late update. It has been 2 weeks since I had the transplant done with Dr. Hakan. I can definitely feel the difference between this time and last time. 1. The girl who was doing extracting this time has better skills and technics. I can remember I had a lot of big pimples after hair transplant at the donor area. Pimples kept coming out for months. They were so big so that every time I got a lot of blood after I tried to use clipper to cut my hair at the donor area. While this time, I have a few very small pimples. I could be wrong but I thought the pimples were casued by part of graft left over after extracting. 2. This time whole implant was completed by DR.Hakan instead of technician. I remember last time the technician was just trying to rush the job done. This time, I can feel Dr. Hakan treated it very seriously. He was trying to finish the implant with slow speed but with better quality. Now two weeks after, I can feel the new grafts start to grow althought they grow a bit slowly as I can feel normal hairs around them longer. Well, To be frank, experience this time so far is really good. Good accommodation. Good team with better skills. Feels good post hair transplant at the donor area. Didem the lady who were as my translator the whole time has been very nice and helpful. Now I am waiting for shock loss period and results after that. On the other hand, I also feel there are still measures that can be taken for quality control by Dr. Hakan. Sometimes it would be risks if you fully trust your employees without putting a quality control and governance in place. Anyway, hope this time I will have a good result These photos were taken the third day after first wash up.

Hi Guys, came back from Turkey on 19/8/2016. Really tired after 10+8 hours flight to Melbourne. Here are some updates about this trip. I arrived in Istanbul Sunday afternoon14/8/16 and got picked up from the airport without any problems. Then checked in a hotel about 10 mins driving from the airport. I am really impressed about the hotel this time. I can still remember. When I had the hair transplant last year in Antalya, I lived in the hospital. It was convenient but the living condition was not satisfactory. Nobody spoke English. No drinking water inside the room. Hospital meal was really light...I felt hungry again normally a few hours after meal. I can really see the difference this time. Hotel is really nice. Receptions can speak quite good english and provide a really good service. Room is clean and cosy. Bathroom looks pretty new. Breakfast and dinner are included. Breakfast is a small buffet. Dinner is quite nice set meal even with desert in it. For the two days after transplant, I actually asked staff to bring dinner to my room so I don't need to go downstairs. Anyway, I am very happy about the accommdation this time. On Monday, Dr. Hakan checked my head and we had some discussion about my hair transplant this time then we started. I won't go through with details of the transplant as I believe everyone here is pretty familiar with them. I just want to say something about the difference I can feel between this time and last time in Antalya.

What happened was my previous hair transplant was also with Dr. Hakan. Result is not satisfied. Dr. Hakan offered a free transplant to fix up it and promised he would do the process by himself for implant. I have noticed that patients from mid 2015 started to have really bad results and I was one of them. I thought the problems of results were all because of his techinicans. I still have some hope for Dr. Hakan and he promised to do all implant work by himself this time. As for 2000 Grafts wasted last time, I want to discuss with him about the possibility to get some from beard. Hope they could do a good job this time. Anyway, I will keep everyone updated.

I have been reading posts in the forum for a few years. I started to lose hair about 12 years ago. My top of head started to look obvious since recent 5 years. I am in Melbourne Australia and there are not many doctors recommended around. I had a hair transplant last year but was not successful. Result was very bad and I lost 2000 grafts. Very unhappy. I decided to have another one and just booked a hair transplant with Dr Hakan in August.. Looks like he moved from Antalya to Istanbul. Feel a little worried about the safety because of the incident happened in Istanbul airport. Hope Dr. Hakan will make this transplant successful. If you are interested in the results, please let me know. I am still thinking I might post after transplant photos once a month if there are people interested. .
