  1. NotQuiteButNearly

who have you been talking to at the Armani clinic?

If you are unable to find any pictures with bad results, there is a simple solution

Ask Pats205, their internet rep, to show you his crown FUE results.

    He won't.

    That should answer your question.

He is over a year post op and has never posted any pictures of his results.

He even left another forum without posting his results after promising over and over to post his results "soon". Soon never came.

Try to ask him for them...you'll see what I mean.

  2. Well, if you want to (not) see an example of what you can expect from Armani FUE, ask Pats205, Armani's new internet rep, to send you his crown FUE pics, before and after. He's a full year grown out and has never posted his results. So, that gives you an idea of why you might not see the many bad results.

If you are set on FUE, Dr. Alan Feller on Long Island does good work. Dr. Ron and Paul Shapiro do good work, they're in Minnesota. And Dr. Bisanga in Belgium does good work.

  3. I thought everyone knew about inhousepharmcy.com

They have generic propecia, generic proscar, and generic avodart.

They are made by Indian pharmaceutical companies called Cipla and Dr Reddy's. I know Dr. Reddy's is a NYSE listed company, and Cipla supplies AIDS drugs to the UN. I trust these two pharmacies very much. I even read a website saying that if Obama becomes president, which he has, that Dr. Reddy's stock may be a good one to buy, since the new administration will be looking for new ways to get cheaper generic drugs in bulk.

  4. Hey LMS I respect you for being a real straight shooter.

I was wondering if you wanted to make a list of things that you think even the best clinic don't tell patients, what would be on that list? (I am seriously interested to know as I think you have a lot of knowledge and this would be very useful for everyone to know)

Also, I have another question. Is your opinion about the HT industry at all changed for the better by bullitnut's repair surgery with SMG?

  5. I am really impressed that Shapiro always provides detailed info on the surgery such as number of 1s, 2s, 3s, and even the size of the strip. They are so transparent and document everything just perfectly.

I agree this story is truly heart warming. I think it should be on some show like the discovery channel or Oprah or something like that, to both warn potential new patients of the the bad that can happen from unscrupulous doctors, and the really good that can happen, that there are good doctors out there. This is an important story to tell.

  6. hairterminator,

you had poor growth from your second strip, right?

would you say you had less than 80%

because you've got a guy right here, in this thread, who is saying that Armani told him that Armani has never seen a patient get less than 80% yield.

so maybe you are your own proof?

First of all, it's normal to be freaked out at 2 months post op.

It's also normal to be freaked out after realizing you might have been suckered.

It sounds like you need some peace of mind.

We are all hoping and praying that your result turns out well, and it very well may. It's hard to know what to say with Armani patients because you don't want to depress them anymore while they're in the doldrums, but on the other hand you have more reason to be concerned than other patients.

In most cases, it's best to just try to forget about your hair for 6 months...which of course is impossible and I'm sure you're looking in the mirror every 10 minutes...

Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

The key question is, will Armani say in writing that he's never seen someone with less than 80% growth?

  8. If you really want to see who you're dealing with, write Dr. Armani an e-mail today asking him to put in writing what he told you, that most of his patients get 95% survival, and he's never seen one patient get less than 80% survival.

This is a promise he made you to get you to do the surgery, right?

You don't have to trust "what people say on the internet", just write him and see how he responds.

  9. Does anyone use Spectral DNC and find it works better than Rogaine?

I just found out the hard way that Spectral DNC stains everything it touches yellow.

I am thinking of quitting Spectral DNC and just using regular clear liquid Rogaine at night, if Spectral DNC isn't doing anything special and since it's staining my shirts and sheets.

I had been using regular Rogaine in the morning and Spectral DNC at night.

  11. I'm must wondering...and don't anybody get offended here I'm just thinking out loud, but will there finally be a day when we won't have to spend a year doing research on which doctor to go to? Will there be a day when there will be quality doctors within most major cities? Will sites like these be a "revolution" in internet technology, able to simplify the process?

These are just questions for thoughts. I don't know the answer.

The real time consuming part, in my opinion, is seeing patients in person.
