  1. Hi guys, I'm extremely pleased with my results from Dr Diep's surgery. It's been over a year and here are my before and after pics. On the actual day of the surgery, I don't remember anything. I was knocked out (lol). The first couple of weeks were the toughest. Once you pass the crusting phase on week 3, your life will start to go back to normal. By month 4, you'll start seeing some results. By month 7, people will start noticing that you look different. While the hair transplant is excellent, it is still up to you to keep it in great shape. I exercise and take care of my diet. I'm at usually <16% body fat, and I don't smoke. I sleep well too. Just keep with habits general habits in check, and your hair should look great. It's the least you can do to help it. Really, you can't argue with results. If something is bothering you, then I feel that it is your duty to fix it and move on. My philosophy is to not have to cope or deal with something when you can put in a bit of effort to solve the problem entirely with no side effects or compromise. I don't use Propecia. Never have and never will use it. I am still on Rogaine though since the beginning of the procedure.
