  1. I appreciate your honesty! It’s only recently I thought about it as someone I knew got it done
  2. That’s true uncle drew. Il have a think about it.
  3. Yeah I think the scarring would show up especially on my skin tone with my dark hair. If it does I can always conceal the scar with MSP, but am I just asking for more problems you think?
  4. Thank you for your reply. Yeah I was thinking of maybe combining both, I’m not sure if I like the idea of just SMP as I seen it on a few people and you could tell it’s just tattooed on. If if I did buzz it, it would probs be down to a 1 or 2.
  5. Hey everyone, recently I have been thinking about going to turkey to get a hair transplant. I posted three years ago considering it, a customer of mine recently got it done in Turkey with longevita and it made me think about it again. I have contacted dr.cinik and dr.yaman and they both said I have good donor area for a HT. What do you guys think? They both said i could get about 3000+ grafts from my donor area, and that I can get about 80% coverage. I currently have a shaved head which I razor, and I do suit it and I am not on any medication for my hair loss. I have a few concerns. 1. If I get a hair transplant done, will I be able to shave it close to the skin like I do now? 2. What can I expect with a HT with my current hair loss? Will it look like I am “thinning”? 3. Can I combine a HT with microscalp pigmentation and keep it buzzed? What do you guys think? Thank you
  6. Haha thank you. I do suit a shaved head but it's also a confidence thing to and to hide or mask the baldness.
  7. Hello thanks for your response. I haven't grown my hair out for years. I shave close to the skin as possible, I prefer not to have stubble, I shave every morning. I'm coming round to the idea of a SMP procedure but not sure yet.
  8. Yeah I agree. I might consider SMP but I haven't decided yet. I lived with a shaved head for about 5 years now and I coped fine with it. How long does SMP last? Do you know? I read that it can cost Upto 3k and touch ups are about 300? each time. Might be a costly thing to maintain. Do you know anyone who got it done?
  9. Thank you. Don't worry I won't rush into it. Don't I need to have some hair on the top of my head to take finasteride? I don't have any hair on the top apart from a few follicles.
  10. Thank you again for your response and advice. I haven't decided anything yet and not completely 100% sure if I will do it. I might go for a consultation at Vinci Hair just to see what they say and maybe pay a visit to Dr Nel, but he charges 200 euros for a consultation.
  11. Yeah maybe be a bit unrealistic. As I have dark black hair, it might look I have thinning hair if it's not full. No never tried any of them. Maybe no point as there is no hair on the top of my head.
  12. Thank you for your response. I had a look at Dr Nel and he seems good. Dr Collins might be a bit too expensive, as my hair loss is quite severe I think. Who is the doctors in turkey that did your transplant? Are you happy with the FUE procedure that you receive? Also do you have to fly back and forth for check ups?
  13. Hello Is it cheaper to go into Europe to get it done? I don't mind going into Dublin. How much does dr Collins charge? Have you had any experience with them?
  14. I'm not sure about SMP, so does it need topping up? How often? Yes see pic attached on donor area. I think my expectation is quite high, I'd love a full head of hair again. Reason for wanting it done is that shaving my head makes me look older than I am.
  15. Hello I am considering having a hair transplant. I have been losing my hair now for 10+ years. I noticed my hair receding since the age of 16 and it gradually got worse and worse. I decided to shave my head and have been doing so now for 5 years. I kind of suit it but I only recently started looking into hair transplant preferable FUE. I'm only 27, but it does affect my confidence having no hair, even though I come to accept it now. Any advice? I have found a place called Vinci Hair In Belfast that does FUE. Has anyone dealt with them before? Here are some pictures of my current condition.
