  1. I would definitely suggest DHS Zinc shampoo. It has a higher percentage of zinc in it, which slows down the rate of cell turnover which leads to dandruff. I recommend it to patients at the pharmacy all of the time. I would, however, probably not use it for a few months post-op, just to be safe. It is a very gentle shampoo. I would not suggest Nizoral within a few months post-op without your physician OK. Nizoral is ketoconazole, which is a medicated anti-fungal shampoo. It can be used in cases of dry scalp, but it is not as hydrating or as gentle as a dandruff shampoo containing zinc as the active ingredient.
  2. Also, don't forget to check out less popular, reputable websites like www.drugstore.com , etc. I am a pharmacist, (no, not for drugstore.com), and would definitely not buy finasteride from a country outside of the U.S. or Canada. Why risk it, if you are on this site, your hair means way to much to you to gamble on.
  3. Hello, I have a rather large scar from a previous procedure. Has anyone else had hair transplanted into the old scar? Any pictures? I was told because my scar is so low on the back of my head, it would probably re-scar if excised. Thanks.
