  1. Just to let you guys know, I decided to go for tricopigmentaion (temporary smp) at beauty medical. My appointment is on the 20th may (a week from now) and 2nd sessuon on 21st. I plan to take photos before and after to document my experience.

I'm praying it doesn't look fake :$ I'm excited and half sh****g my pants at the same time!

You can check pics of my current situation in my profile. I plan to shave it down more but with electric clippers. I want to fill in the temples a bit...

Let's see how it goes. Will keep you posted.

  2. The example you have given is an exception...

It's simple mate. Permanent is designed go stay pretty much for life (although there may be exceptions were it doesnt) then there is temporary where it's designedto totally dissapear with 2 years (again.. although there may be exceptions).

Anythint behaving or doing other than intended... is a malfunction. (Not what intended). Not sure why you're trying to mix them up. If you like the idea of one over the other great. They both have their advantages and disadvantages..

  3. Permanent would fade in the sense that the dots no longer look sharp. But the colour remains. Touch ups are to keep having the dots looks more detailed/fine. Any ink injected into the skin will inevitably diffuse over time ie lose its sharpness.. because of the characteristics of how skin ages vs the ink properties itself.

Can you please tell me where you get the idea that permanent smp totally disappears? I think you may have the wrong idea.

  4. Thanks for the reply.

I said tricopigmentation as I thought this was the temporary version. Anyhow, this is what I meant.

I do know the differences between both temporary and permanent already and all of what you have said, but my original questions still stands (in regards to temporary tricopigmentatio)

Im not that interested in what happens to the permanent as I have some idea already....

    Thanks,

    Slim

  5. Hello all.

I have a question for the tricopigmentation technicians. I have an idea of what the trico dots look like from the first few applications, but could you explain or describe the appearance of continued trico after say 4 or 5 years.

If I hazard a guess.. I would imagine the whole head would look less 'dot defined' and more of just a merge of grey dots resulting in just a grey shadow effect rather than dots simulating real hair follicles. Am I right

And input from either professionals or those who have had trico for more than 4 years would be greatly appreciated.

  6. Thanks alot for the reply. I think in about 6 months I will take a trip to Italy and have a look for myself :P

Could you tell me your findings on clients who have had it done for at least 2 years.. and then need to touch up (or who have had regular touch ups). In my mind, I imagine it would be better to totally let the pigment disappear rather than have touch ups, because the old/original dots would be faded and new dots would be added,, eventually having too much overlap til it looks all just one colour / helmet effect.

Any comments on that would be appreciated. :)

  7. Hello All

I hope you are well and not getting too depressed with hairloss :P What a distressing and life wasting issue

I am currently living in Geneva (Switzerland) and would really appreciate some help in finding some very good SMP clinics in Europe. (But ideally not so expensive if possible :S) seems like most people outside Switzerland think we are all payed like bankers :P

I have been recently thinking about the idea more and more, although somewhat convinced, at the same time afraid that it would look not natural. Also, I probably would want it done in around 6 months (as I am trying to see if I get any results Derma rolling first).

I have seen or learned of the name Milena Lardi and the Beaty Medical clinic. But I have been somewhat put off by the lack of photos or videos and also one video I have seen frightens me...

I feel like my skin is somewhat more 'absorbent' than other people. For eg. if I get fountain pen and write on my hand,, it tends to smudge a lot more than other people (this is why I'm scared of temp smp. Does anyone else experience this?

Also, I'm not sure why, but I see great results from other clinics that are trained by Milena Lardi, but weirdly I don't see any good examples of results from Milena Lardi or her clinic itself.

Any comments would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advanced. (sorry for the long write up).

p.s I have added some photos in my profile of my current situation
