  1. @KLHT I may have confused you with another user :) Apologies for recommending this dude. Let me summarize my findings over the past 3 years for you in 3 points without going into all the technicalities that everyone else can cover:

These are the words of Rahal, H&W, Cooley & and Dr K from turkey

1- Most probably we got way less grafts that what they said they did. Yes the other hair fell but the transplanted one if it was in fact 3-4k should cover way more than what it currently does. The Dr should also have planned for future loss when he implanted the hair. Yes you cant predict the hair-loss pattern and yes it wont cover everything but the results should have been much better given the claimed number of grafts. Yaman usually stays between 3-4.5k grafts. For Example H&W proposed a 2-2.5k FUT to fix my hair. Thats half of what Yaman claimed he did and I would trust Dr Wong's words more than Yaman

2- The donor area is so depleted and the extractions are so poorly done, your only hope is an FUT if you want another transplant I have big circles of thinned hair compared to the rest at the back of my head. Its not noticeable ofc but i can see it and i can see the difference. Do NOT go for another FUE, I saw some people on the street with very very thin donor area and its much worse looking than any FUT scar imo. You can maybe fix the scar but you cant fix an entire thinned head

3- I reached out multiple times to the clinic and tried to give the dude all the benefits of all doubts. I am also from a third world country so I am used to terrible service and wasnt expecting a 5 star service but it was really a shitshow. I think Yaman would be an OK dr for low risk NW2-3 cases. Beyond that you need an actual Dr given the limited number of hair left and margin of error one has.

Thats my honest opinion, gathered from consultations i did with Rahal, H&W, Cooley & and Dr K. Once again I am sorry if i inspired you to go but i was blindsided by the forum and other members and good luck

  2. Hey Man,

While I decided not to post on this forum anymore, I got an email notification and I think you were one of the threads that encouraged me to go to Yaman back in 2017.  My hair looks exactly like you 3 years after this disastrous hair transplant. This is just the Yaman results my friend and I think most of the posted cases on this forum are similar. I don't know what the mods will tell you to do but don't expect to get anything from the clinic no matter what anyone tells you here and I am telling you from personal experience. Also don't let that guy touch your hair again. I consulted everyone from Cooley to H&W and your donor is probably depleted just like me and won't be enough for future transplants

We got what we paid for

Good luck I hope you can find a solution to your problem

  3. If this wasn't posted by Dr. K I wouldn't have believed this result. Absolutely phenomenal.

On 5/11/2019 at 7:11 AM, Dr. Raymond Konior said:

There is no single best source for all patients.  Hair color and texture matches are important, and it is not uncommon for these characteristics to vary between the donor and recipient sites.  Beard hair is a good option when the scalp shows signs of donor depletion and the physical characteristics of the two zones are relatively favorable.  Hair for hair, beard is a good camouflage agent because of its high caliber.  Each patient needs to be evaluated on an individual basis to determine what is best for him or her.

Dr,I will reach out to the team. I may be in a similar situation as this patient

  4. Here we go again. Yaman one more time.

The OP was probably contacted by Yaman for another operation in return to be silent. He let him/will let him extract another 3-4k from his Donor. I hope it works for him although I doubt that this will end in anyway other than a destroyed Donor

The thought of Yaman as a good cheap option if you are price sensitive is not wrong and risky. Don't let your emotions in getting your hair back dictate choosing a bad Dr. I did that like the OP of this thread and we are all got screwed by Yaman.

Let me put it in perspective: If you read the comments in the Consultations that I did with the likes of Cooley, Lindsey & H&W about my Donor area after Yaman's failed operation you wont even mention Yaman again on this forum.

Choose wisely guys. If you are price sensitive, save a couple of years longer and go to reputable clinic. Fixing failed operations is far more expensive. Try Dr K he is slightly cheaper than Erdogan I think and 1000 miles ahead of Yaman and the cheaper clinics

    Good luck

  5. Hey man,

Im only active when I read Yaman posts :)). I don't think you should follow the recommendations and comments of all members including myself with closed eyes, most of us don't any medicinal background !!

I dont have any experience with Demirsoy but in Turkey if you can afford Erdogan go for it. The section process IMO is mostly based on risk minimization and Erdogan is super consistent. Why don't you contact a couple of Turkish and other TOP US ones and see if the recommendation align?

Just be 200% sure before you go cause even the TOP Drs do mistakes so the less risk you have the better

    cheers

  6. If you have read horror stories then don't consider him. I'm in the process of fixing my horror story with him and its more expensive then the original procedure.

I dont understand why people keep dreaming about Yaman. Everyone wants to find the GREAT and CHEAP surgeon.. I tried twice and it doesn't exist. Its your decision but beware of the consequences

What are you looking for FUE or FUT? You should contact about 10 Drs, make an excel sheet with their comments and then decide who you are most comfortable with. Make enough research, at the end the look is your to worry about.

The one advice I can give you is that North American Drs cover same area with less grafts than Turkish. Don't compare prices per grafts but more of area covered.

If you want to stay in turkey go with Erdogan or Karadeniz after you consult them and feel comfortable with

  7. I assume you are talking fue if you're talking Dr Erdogan. In the US for fue in Erodgans league, maybe a couple. I think the world of Dr Cooley but haven't see enough of his fue work to say it's in that league. No comment on Dr Lindsey which is probably comment enough.

Dr Konior. Dr Diep if you're intent on the US, if you're open to Canada, dr Hassons fue has put up stunning results recently and is really impressing me i'd look at those 3 on this side of the world otherwise get to Europe.

Whats with Dr Lindsey if I may ask?

  8. Slightly premature on my part on posting this post .

They have actually been v supportive and offered me 2nd HT or refund which I had ( surgery) pics coming soon .

Yaman was v supportive and explained the reasons behind not the perfect results .

I think my fustration came from not been able to communicate properly but the new guy who dealt with me is actually quite good.

Also they know about this post and haven’t asked me to delete it which shows they are open to feedback :)

I will be posting my review of 2nd HT with Yaman - in summary every thing went very well 10/10

If you didnt go yet. DONT

Protect your grafts..You will regret hurting the remaining ones..Money is not everything.

If they extract another 4K grafts and it doesn't go very well you wont be able to do any other future HT

I saw a guy the other day who has incredibly thin donor due to multiple FUEs at low quality clinics. Beware dude its the worst. Its 10000% worst than FUT scar

  9. Hey mate

I was hoping you end up in a better place than the rest of us. As said earlier don't worry there is still hope. Start talking to the good Drs and completely ignore the recommendations on this website.

The amount of donor depletion that I have from the operation is insane.

Shoot Karadeniz an email else save and get out of Turkey. I highly doubt its a good move to do another FUE anywhere even if its Koray. I saw someone the other day with super thin donor area possibly from multiple FUEs and you dont want to be like that guy. You cant cover it

    Yaman is a FRAUD

  10. Good morning, mates!

First of all, sorry for my bad English. I write from Spain and I will do my best in order to post the best posts I can :)

This thread is very interesting for my interest and, if you don't mind, I'd like to participate.

I'm considering an inmediat Hair Transplant Surgeon in Turkey. After reading and reading form many months, I found that Dr. Erdogan (Asmed) is one of the best choices. However his prices are too high form my budget, so I began to investigate in the 3.000-4000 euros range.

After a lot of research, I think Dr. Resul Yaman is one of the bet options within this range (correct me if I'm wrong, please). However, during the last days I've been reading underwhelming results from some of his patients.

For this reason, I'd love to know how many people from this forum have had a succesful result and how many did not have the expecgted results and aren't happy with his hair transplant. Would you avoid Resul Yaman, or would you recommend it? Is the density with him so weak? (the density in the crown area is quite important to me...) Could be worthwhile trying to save more money and call Erdogan-ASMED?

As I said at the beginning of this post, mi idea is to get the hair transplant by the end of October/beginning of November... Time is runnng out and and I'm totally confused about which doctor should I choose :(

Any help would be more than appreciated.

Thanks in advance to all of you. Thanks so much for your time.

Don't do Yaman. Dont rely on the recommendation f this website or the results that he shares. check the results actual forum member share. Gd luck

  11. It will be 6 months in 10 days time .

There doesn’t look like any density :(

    I am getting worried !!!!!!!

    What you people think ?

Yeah thats the standard Yaman density that all of us have. Your hair will get a bit thicker but dont expect double density. I hope you it gets thicker for you man but Im just talking from my own experience.

There is a reason why i told you not to go to Yaman. Don't panic and make the most out of the situation

  12. I cant really say if its my philosophy or my skin type since the idiot who operated me completely butchered me but what i can see is that some areas are wide while others are thin and narrow but overall there is a thick bumpy rough scar tissue at the back and I dont think that is this the right way to heal the skin. Even my other small body scars from life accidents aren't that thick. I was advised by a couple of Drs to redo another FUT from that scar tissue and then try a re closure.

Im still researching this through online consultations

  13. Yaman is like the usual Turkish Drs. He only does 20% of the surgery, lets the technicians do the rest and makes about 3-4 HTs per day. Dont get me wrong in my thread I praised the technicians for being good but it wasn't the Dr and I chose him from this forum because the recommendation said he does most of procedure himself.

Also the after care with Yaman is ZERO. If it wasn't for this forum I wouldn't have answered any of my post procedure Qs. Also the results posted by forum members including myself are way below average compared to what the clinic posts.

I didn't have a procedure with Ali Emre Kardeniz but I contacted him alongside other Top Drs in the US, Europe and Canada because I need a another procedure after the below average results I got from Yaman. From What I have seen so far, he follows the more ethical and scientific style compared to the standard Turkish business only oriented model.

    Thats my opinion
