I agree the site is not dead and there is a ton of info already here.

You could also have some work done on the crown later and concealer could help as well.
-
It's all about expectations. Without fin, you will in fact keep losing hair. If you will be satisfied with a nice hairline and midscalp but a balding crown then yes you are a candidate.

Looking good. Congrats.

Every other day is a good start. I take 1mg every day with no negative side effects. I'm using generic prescribed by my gp. $15 a month with insurance. Don't have to cut them.

How does the recipient area look if shaved down to the skin though
I never shave. The shortest I go is zero guard and looks good.

I had over 3200 grafts fue and buzzed with a #1 guard looks great.

You can try a smaller dose.

Looks great! I'm a fellow Diep patient. Exciting news about new tools and beard hair. I'm gonna need another procedure or two as well.
-
Good news it's definitely fixable.

Anxiety definitely can cause these problems. Two days is a short time. Try to help your anxiety and give it some time.

really nice improvement, keep seeing great results from Dr. Diep's patients, congrats!
Thanks!

Finasteride and minoxidil is still the norm. Ppl usually use dut after several years of finasteride use and feel that the fin is not working as well as before.

I'm assuming your hair in the back was always bald? Any changes to the any other areas since surgery ?
My crown is still the same. I'm stable on meds. Everything is the same.

I was able to wear a hat at work so it didn't really matter. If I could not wear one, I would buzz my head about a month before the procedure. That way ppl are used to it and not all shocked when you come back after your procedure. Some ppl want to keep their hair long instead and have the procedure done while their hair is still long.

you going to elaborate more about this secret formula or what?
x2 ?????

I agree with other posters recommending finasteride. Try it out first.
-
Stay on the propecia. It can help keep what you have. I had a procedure done with Dr Diep and I recommend him.

I'm having the same issues. I used rogaine foam for a few years with no side effects. I tried lipogaine and then perfect hair. I got irritated, dry skin with pimples. I stopped using it for about a month. Things cleared up. I then tried rogaine foam again and I have the same irritation.

Your treatment regimen is very thorough. Stick with what you've been doing. 1mg finasteride daily, minoxidil 2x daily and keto shampoo 2x a week is great. I'd apply the minox only in the thinning areas. I would keep this regimen up. Changing to dutusteride could cause bad side effects. You are already shedding. Dut could make it worse.

Shock loss is definitely a possibility.
Finasteride. Giving it a try?
