Not that I need a week-by-week update, but I thought this picture really showcases the extent to which the hairline is coming in. There are definitely two hairlines now; the transplanted hairline and the denser, previous hairline behind it. Every day looks better than the last and I think that this will look very normal/good (though certainly not complete) by month five.

Looks great! When did the redness subside?

Hi, so I'll start by saying that I'm booked for surgery with a recommended/coalition surgeon from this site.

 

I was originally booked to start surgery at 9am in the morning, but my appointment time was changed to 2:30 in the afternoon to start with getting blood tests and presumably starting surgery at 3:00pm.

Should I be slightly worried? It makes it sound like the surgeon is operating on 2 people in the same day, or I might end up getting a different surgeon, since it seems like it a lot of work for the same surgeon for one day...

 

Sorry for the dumb thread, but it's made me slightly worried and paranoid.

OP, I am going to agree with you and say it does look quite sparse.. I don't know how those who replied saying it looked great could be satisfied if they received this result. Of course if we saw pre op pics to compare with, it may be a different story, but looking at the pics alone, I would not be happy.

Why is it that if i try to post something on the threads containing references to Dr. Feller and Dr. Doganay i see error message?. Previously I had messages saying the message will be approved after moderation?.

 

I was asking some simple questions about motive behind deleting and locking threads prematurely!!!.

 

Please let this forum be free flowing as long as there are no nudities/threats and irresponsible accusations of doctors....the posting by professor and paleocarp has exposed the dirty side of HT buisness...let all the people discuss freely, why are mods restricting access and posting privilages?

I've just crawled out of Dr Feller's ass to say that as the patient deleted his original comments, it's fair to say whatever happened has now been resolved, probably amicably.

 

His claim of bait and switch is nill and void, as he removed said claim. There was obviously a misunderstanding or a failure on Feller and Bloxam's side to properly notify the patient.

 

We'll probably never know for sure.

How was it up there?? So why not Feller the 2nd time?

While I think Matt1978 -- as usual -- brings up a very valid point here, we have always been open and honest about how we do things. So I have no problem answering some of the basic questions posed. In fact, I've done so online several times before.

 

I apologize ahead of time for the anti-climactic answer, but here it is:

 

All patients are informed in writing as to who will perform their procedure. No exceptions. The roles of staff and physicians will vary.

To me, there's 3 very simple questions that need to be asked and addressed:

 

Was this a patient of Dr. Feller/Bloxham?

 

Who performed the surgery on this patient?

 

How was this communicated to the patient / was their consent?

 

The moderators chose to remove the thread because of a threat made to the doctor-which is completely understandable. I think we can all reasonably agree that it is likely the patient had his procedure there, conspiracy theories aside. Question #1 answered.

 

However, the latter two questions still linger and remain unknown. Until the moderators or the clinic addresses this more clearly skepticism will stay. Unfortunately rumors don't just resolve themselves.

I took these on Wednesday, just one day shy of my thirteen week mark. The growth looks a little more extensive in person, and you can definitely see the hairline taking shape. The appearance changes very literally every day, and you can see lots of fine hairs sprouting. I'm really optimistic about how this progressing. I've definitely had some shock loss around the native hair, but it's relatively minor and should start recovering soon. Still some redness.

 

The growth is definitely starting at the sides--i.e., the slick areas in the temple corners--and is only now starting to creep inwards toward the tip of my widow's peak. Interesting that that's the growth pattern on both sides.

Read my post again, I actually concur that his silence is pretty incriminating in the court of public opinion. Bottom line, if he is guilty, of course he is not going to reply at this point. He is brilliant spin artist, but I think he knows better than to try spin it some way. If he is innocent and the allegations are unfounded, then chances are he would have come online and stated so, or maybe not. We agree on this, so calm down buddy. I know its frustrating that this got shut down, and I know you are frustrated that we are not going to learn any new facts, but your frustration would be better directed at Professor. He is the one who refused to post any pictures or documentation to evidence that he got the procedure done, and worst of all, the guy went back and deleted his own original accusation.

No evidence was offered up so the docs didn't need to refute anything, and often times when unsubstantiated claims are made they are ignored.

 

It's possible Dr Feller shut professor up, or Professor over reacted and exagerated his claims, but either way i don't give weight to people who don't back up their claims and then retract everything by deleting those claims.

 

That's why Bill locked the thread as these things can damage a docs rep, and all without a shred of proof.

I've been waiting for Dr. Nader to get back to me for almost 2 weeks. I've sent him photos and intro. How long did it take for him to get back to you and schedule your surgery?

 

On a scale of 0-10, how painful is this, or for example, in comparison to getting a tattoo?

I still can't believe how dumb people are when it comes to HT. Going to Mexico to have some cut your scalp open - yeah sounds like a good idea! I wouldn't go to Mexico to take an advil.
