  1. Thank you agin for the reply SI. I will do a follow up by sending pics to the doctor, he willingly gave me his cell phone number which I appreciate. Is there any way to known if it is for sure shock loss that will come back?
  2. Thanks for the reply Sl. They did go into the first transplanted area very little. The area behind the first transplant was where most of the work was done. Like I said I am one week post op and most of the pre existing hair from the first hair transplant is gone. When would this hair return? I know the newly transplanted hair will take around 6 months but when should the first transplanted hair return?
  3. Hi guys, I'm new to the forum as this is my first post. I had a hair transplant 3 years ago in the frontal region and was pretty satisfied. A week ago I decided to have a second transplant in the middle part of my head. The transplanted hair after my first hair transplant seems to be damaged and looks much thinner than it did prior to my second transplant a week ago. I've read about shock loss and I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this and knows if the original transplanted hair from the first procedure will eventually come back looking the way it was? The second procedure was an FUE one and the first one was a FUT one. The second procedure has gone much better in terms of recovery but I'm just freaking out a little at all the hair loss from the first transplant.
