  1. Sorry, forgot to answer zyzz question. Damien Porter used to work for His Hair Clinic and from my understanding he was doing the same sort of thing, however, I think he really stepped up his game of writing fake negative reviews and write ups when he joined Bryce Cleveland and scalp aesthetics. We will be posting a list of effected businesses in a new smp forum being created by these businesses, as well as a lawsuit is being worked on for all the fake reviews written on scalpsearch.com and scalpguru.com.

By the way, here was a late article I wrote as it seems Damien Porter would like to sell Scalp Micropigmentation treatment advice from the Guru - and more interesting is how he indirectly talks about his employer - Bryce Cleveland....

  3. Thanks Baldken2. Thanks for the reply. You summed it up nicely in your review of Scalp Aesthetics and Damien Porter, and that is why I used it. Thanks for that!

Damien Porter is up to his old tricks of writing fake negative reviews on companies that are up and coming, or taking away business Scalp Aesthetics in cities that they deem high traffic areas, meaning they can make the most money from.

You are absolutely correct! I end each of my articles with the notion that each and every client should actually walk into the clinic and speak to the person or artist that will be doing the treatment. Ask questions. Ask for referrals. Ask to see real before and after pictures with the actual artist doing the treatment, not those generic pictures that Scalp Aesthetics hands out to all their newbies.

I had to start somewhere, and these articles in no way reflect Scalp Aesthetics artists. I know some of them, and I've seen their work. There is good and there is bad. I started by giving out free treatments and telling the client that I am new in the industry and had them sign off that some things may go wrong. I developed my own clients before and after pictures, one by one. Scalp Aesthetics, however, tells the client that their artists have 2-3 years of experience, even though they don't. That is false advertising and potentially putting the client and artist at risk. My point is that Scalp Aesthetics should focus more on training their artists instead of bashing other companies. Just because a person takes a three day online scalp micropigmentation course with Scalp Aesthetics: working on a mannequin head, fake skin and a melon, does not mean that they can suddenly work on clients the next day. Scalp Aesthetics "opens" new locations monthly, and you know these people just "graduated". Scalp Aesthetics puts these artists in harms way by sending them a bunch of clients when the artist is not ready to do the treatment. This is bad news for the client and very bad news for the artist who will be at fault - as Scalp Aesthetics takes no responsibility, yet they will take the money.

Scalp Micropigmentation is an awesome treatment for men and women with hair loss issues, balding or thinning hair, and is a great alternative to hair transplants and powders and fibers, but BaldKen2 is absolutely right! Please visit your local clinic and speak to the person that is doing the treatment, and don't just rely on reviews online. I'm sure Damien Porter will read this post and join the conversation shorty :).

I'll have more articles about Scalp Aesthetics, Damien Porter and Bryce Cleveland as they seem bent on trying to ruin my reputation...although I'm booking for March now, and I've talked to clients about Scalp Aesthetics and the fake negative reviews they have left me. Clients are a lot smarter than Bryce and Damien give them credit for.

You can see my work online at http://www.instagram.com/scalpmicropigmentationcenter and at the office I have more on my phone and tablet showing clients that it is me doing the actual work.

Thanks BaldKen2, I'm glad we are discussing this and hope this opens the doors to others joining the conversation.

  4. It's unfortunate that I am unable to start a new post about Scalp Aesthetics, however, I will start by posting here for the time being.

Just to let everyone know that Scalp Aesthetics monitors and trolls all these sites, make up fake account, positive reviews and write ups about their business and results. However, worse yet they write up fake reviews and fake write ups on other companies, like mine, in order to stay the "leaders" in Scalp Micropigmentation. Their training program consists of working on a melon, fake skin and a mannequin head as the "final exam". After that, you are a certified, licensed technician and franchisee of Scalp Aesthetics. When you call the 1-855 number, whomever answers the phone tells the client that the person they are going to see has 2-3 years of experience, even if they have only 3 days experience. I have the text from Eric to prove it.

Here are the articles I've written under my own website blog to get the word out. There are lots of clients who now have messed up heads, that are blue (even though Bryce Cleveland states that it is impossible) using Scalp Aesthetics inks, but these men (and some women) are afraid to come forward.

We are also starting up a lawsuit for businesses effected by Damien Porter and Bryce Cleveland writing up fake reviews and write ups on Scalp Micropigmentation Reviews - Clinics Rated by Real Clients and Scalp Micropigmentation treatment advice from the Guru. You can contact me directly if you were effected by Scalp Aesthetics, Scalp Guru or Scalp Search at info@scalpesthetica.com

Scalp Aesthetics and Damien Porter: Fake Reviews Online

  7. Here is a little article about Scalp Micropigmentation that I wrote, hope it helps. Let me know if you have any questions about it...this is a growing treatment option that I think will only get bigger over the next few years as word gets out and technology gets better and better.

Scalp Micropigmentation for Men and Women: What Is Scalp Micropigmentation?

SMP is an acronym that stands for Scalp Micro Pigmentation. SMP is a medical grade application technique of depositing pigment (color) into the epidermis and upper dermal layer of the skin on the scalp. This technique allows the replication of hair follicles in the scalp, which gives the appearance of having a “buzz cut” or recently shaved head. The SMP method can be utilized for Men and Women of all ages, skin types, skin color and various degrees of balding, thinning hair, alopecia, and camouflaging scars or to add hair density to thinning hair.

Toronto, ON -- 07/27/2015 -- Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)– A permanent solution for Men and Women in all stages of Balding or Thinning hair.

    What is Scalp Micropigmentation?

Scalp Micropigmentation has been around since the 90s, however, has only finally gained recognition in the last few years. Scalp Micropigmentation goes by many names, including: SMP, Medical Hairline Tattoo, Scalp Tattoo, Medical Hairline Restoration, and Hair Micropigmentation Treatment.

Regardless of the name, the treatment is the same. Scalp Micropigmentation consists of using a fine tattoo needle that is the same shape and size as a hair follicle to implant pigment into the scalp. The scalp contains approximately 2000 hair follicles per square inch, and thus, the SMP Artist must tattoo thousands of microdots into the scalp, which gives the appearance of a freshly shaved head of hair, or a Buzzcut. The results look very natural, and it is a much safer and better option that hair transplantation, hair plugs, toupee or wigs. Leaving no scarring and healing within days, not months or years.

Why would I want Scalp Micropigmentation?

The effects of balding in both sexes, Male and Female, can have devastating effects on one's self-esteem, self-confidence, sexuality and body image. Many clients feel embarrassed about having thinning hair, bald spots or other forms of baldness and have sought out many "cures" for baldness, including: Hair growth serums, Hair Transplants, Hair growth shampoos and conditioners, Hair plugs, etc, only to be very disappointed with the results or lack thereof.

Scalp Micropigmentation allows you to embrace your baldness, but not have to live with it. By having an SMP or Scalp Micropigmentation Treatment, you can easily have the look of a freshly shaved head or a buzzcut, rather than looking completely or partially bald. The appearance of this look is Bold, confident and daring. SMP has shown to increase one's confidence and self-esteem and give them a new outlook on life.

What about Men and Women with Thinning Hair?

SMP or Scalp Micropigmentation works for both Men and Women of any age, skin type and skin color, and works at any stage of baldness. Many Men and Women suffer from thinning hair in the top, or crown area of the scalp. SMP works to create the appearance of density in the scalp by camouflaging the scalp with thousands of microdots. This effect creates hair density and fullness, giving the appearance of a full head of hair.

    What about Scalp Scars?

SMP can be used to cover scars on the scalp using the technique described above. This treatment is a great adjunct treatment to hair transplant scarring, and to help add density to an area that may have scarred on the scalp from the hair transplant treatment. Whether you are bald, balding or have scars from medical treatments, SMP can help.

    Does SMP treatment hurt?

The needles and technique used in SMP are not the same as having a body tattoo treatment using ink. Tattoo artist use ink, rather than pigment, and they go much deeper into the dermis to implant ink, which of course, causes more pain. Most clients describe having an SMP treatment as having multiple mosquito bites. Clinics use medical grade numbing cream to numb the scalp as much as possible, to reduce pain and irritation from the treatment.

How much does a Scalp Micropigmentation Treatment Cost?

Prices for an SMP treatment vary depending on the amount of work that needs to be done based on the degree of baldness. Prices can range from $750 to cover a client, male or female, with thinning hair to $5000 for a full head of hair restoration. It is best to go into the office where you plan to have the treatment to meet with your SMP technician and to have a consultation. Consultations are usually free, but are limited to time. Go into the consultation prepared with some questions about the artist and about the treatment. Based on the consultation, the SMP technician will be able to give you an accurate quote on the procedure, and should be able to answer any and all of your questions.
