  1. Sorry, forgot to answer zyzz question. Damien Porter used to work for His Hair Clinic and from my understanding he was doing the same sort of thing, however, I think he really stepped up his game of writing fake negative reviews and write ups when he joined Bryce Cleveland and scalp aesthetics. We will be posting a list of effected businesses in a new smp forum being created by these businesses, as well as a lawsuit is being worked on for all the fake reviews written on scalpsearch.com and scalpguru.com. By the way, here was a late article I wrote as it seems Damien Porter would like to sell Scalp Micropigmentation treatment advice from the Guru - and more interesting is how he indirectly talks about his employer - Bryce Cleveland.... 3. Thanks Baldken2. Thanks for the reply. You summed it up nicely in your review of Scalp Aesthetics and Damien Porter, and that is why I used it. Thanks for that! Damien Porter is up to his old tricks of writing fake negative reviews on companies that are up and coming, or taking away business Scalp Aesthetics in cities that they deem high traffic areas, meaning they can make the most money from. You are absolutely correct! I end each of my articles with the notion that each and every client should actually walk into the clinic and speak to the person or artist that will be doing the treatment. Ask questions. Ask for referrals. Ask to see real before and after pictures with the actual artist doing the treatment, not those generic pictures that Scalp Aesthetics hands out to all their newbies. I had to start somewhere, and these articles in no way reflect Scalp Aesthetics artists. I know some of them, and I've seen their work. There is good and there is bad. I started by giving out free treatments and telling the client that I am new in the industry and had them sign off that some things may go wrong. I developed my own clients before and after pictures, one by one. Scalp Aesthetics, however, tells the client that their artists have 2-3 years of experience, even though they don't. That is false advertising and potentially putting the client and artist at risk. My point is that Scalp Aesthetics should focus more on training their artists instead of bashing other companies. Just because a person takes a three day online scalp micropigmentation course with Scalp Aesthetics: working on a mannequin head, fake skin and a melon, does not mean that they can suddenly work on clients the next day. Scalp Aesthetics "opens" new locations monthly, and you know these people just "graduated". Scalp Aesthetics puts these artists in harms way by sending them a bunch of clients when the artist is not ready to do the treatment. This is bad news for the client and very bad news for the artist who will be at fault - as Scalp Aesthetics takes no responsibility, yet they will take the money. Scalp Micropigmentation is an awesome treatment for men and women with hair loss issues, balding or thinning hair, and is a great alternative to hair transplants and powders and fibers, but BaldKen2 is absolutely right! Please visit your local clinic and speak to the person that is doing the treatment, and don't just rely on reviews online. I'm sure Damien Porter will read this post and join the conversation shorty . I'll have more articles about Scalp Aesthetics, Damien Porter and Bryce Cleveland as they seem bent on trying to ruin my reputation...although I'm booking for March now, and I've talked to clients about Scalp Aesthetics and the fake negative reviews they have left me. Clients are a lot smarter than Bryce and Damien give them credit for. You can see my work online at http://www.instagram.com/scalpmicropigmentationcenter and at the office I have more on my phone and tablet showing clients that it is me doing the actual work. Thanks BaldKen2, I'm glad we are discussing this and hope this opens the doors to others joining the conversation.
  4. It's unfortunate that I am unable to start a new post about Scalp Aesthetics, however, I will start by posting here for the time being. Just to let everyone know that Scalp Aesthetics monitors and trolls all these sites, make up fake account, positive reviews and write ups about their business and results. However, worse yet they write up fake reviews and fake write ups on other companies, like mine, in order to stay the "leaders" in Scalp Micropigmentation. Their training program consists of working on a melon, fake skin and a mannequin head as the "final exam". After that, you are a certified, licensed technician and franchisee of Scalp Aesthetics. When you call the 1-855 number, whomever answers the phone tells the client that the person they are going to see has 2-3 years of experience, even if they have only 3 days experience. I have the text from Eric to prove it. Here are the articles I've written under my own website blog to get the word out. There are lots of clients who now have messed up heads, that are blue (even though Bryce Cleveland states that it is impossible) using Scalp Aesthetics inks, but these men (and some women) are afraid to come forward. We are also starting up a lawsuit for businesses effected by Damien Porter and Bryce Cleveland writing up fake reviews and write ups on Scalp Micropigmentation Reviews - Clinics Rated by Real Clients and Scalp Micropigmentation treatment advice from the Guru. 7. TORONTO – Oct. 13, 2015 – PRLog — Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a Hair Loss Treatment that has been around since the 90s. This procedure was not recognized by a large number of people then, and it has gained popularity in the last few years. Scalp Micropigmentation goes by a number of names which include; Hair Tattoo, Hair Loss Treatment, Medical Hairline Restoration, Hair Replication, Hair Micropigmentation Treatment, and Thinning Hair treatment. Although the SMP procedure goes by several names as listed above, the treatment procedure is the same. Many people, and especially the young ones are quite affected by the effects of balding, and this has lead to low self-esteem, self-confidence, body image, and sexuality. Most of these people have felt embarrassed by the Thinning Hair problem, to the extent of looking for whatever procedures that can assist them in restoring their self-confidence. Some of the procedures that they have gone for, and have produced more devastating results include; Hair plugs, wigs, Hair growth shampoos, hair growth serums, hair conditioners, and hair transplants. At Scalp Esthetica, we believe that you should first embrace the baldness since it has already come, but you need not live with it. You need to visit us for a Hair Loss Treatment to help you get back your self-esteem by looking like you have just been shaved. The new look after SMP is confident, bold, and daring as well. The Thinning Hair treatment procedure has been known to restore your self confidence and also make you have a new outlook on life. Scalp Micropigmentation is a procedure that is carried out on both men and women of all ages, skin color, skin type and any stage of baldness. Come to Scalp Esthetica and have your scar concealed by the Thinning Hair procedure instead of wearing hair wigs that make you feel uncomfortable all day. SMP procedure does not hurt at all. The customers, who have previously had the procedure carried out on their scalps, describe the experience as multiple mosquito bites. We apply a medical grade cream on your scalp in order to numb it and reduce irritation and pain during the Thinning Hair procedure. Our pricing for SMP procedure is quite low and mostly depends on the extent of the baldness or scar, and the amount of the work that is being carried out. The cost is approx. $2000 for covering a client’s scalp for Thinning Hair, whether male or female, and up to $5000 for a full Hair Loss Treatment (Alopecia Universalis). Considering that the minimum for a hair transplant procedure is $25,000, the cost of SMP is relatively low. As well, there is no scarring with SMP, nor are there any side effects as with hair transplants. Also, the results of having an SMP treatment are instant, compared to months and years with having a hair transplant. All you need to do is visit our offices and talk to one of our SMP technicians who will carry out the consultation procedure for free. Because Scalp Esthetica is a very busy clinic, they must limit the time that you can take with the technician, and this is the reason why we encourage you to have the questions that you require answered before visiting the technician. After the consultation, our technician will be in a position to give you an accurate quote, and also answer any and all the questions that you may have regarding the SMP procedure. Visit www.scalpesthetica.com for more information about Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP), and you will understand why they have been voted one of the Best SMP Clinics in Toronto for Hair Tattoo and Scalp Tattoo. 8. Scalp Esthetica Has The Cure For Baldness And Thinning Hair – Visit the Best Scalp Micropigmentation Clinic in Toronto to find out How! Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP), also known as Scalp Tattoo or Hair Tattoo, is a non-surgical procedure, which is carried out on a scalp to take care of Thinning Hair, balding, hair loss and scars. This procedure is only carried out by professionals who have been trained to carry out SMP and have the required experience. Thinning Hair is a problem that affects both men and women of all ages all over the globe. It is a procedure that has become quite popular these days, and Scalp Esthetica Company is the company that is well known for offering professional Thinning Hair treatment all over Toronto, Ontario. Scalp Micropigmentation is a method that is modern, and uses needles to apply medical grade color pigment on the scalp. The color used in the Thinning Hair treatment is natural and does not fade like the color used in normal tattoo. The pigments that we use for carrying out SMP are pharmaceutical quality, and they conform to the EU Cosmetics Directive standards that were signed in the year 2008. The pigments used in Thinning Hair treatments are of the highest quality, have minerals and have been dermatologically and microbiologically tested. The pigments are germ-free, do not contain any heavy metals or aromatic amines, have no type of synthetic preservatives, and are also hypoallergenic. Even though you may look at SMP procedure as normal tattoo, but the fact is that colors used for the normal tattoo do not undergo the same rigorous testing and regulations such as the Thinning Hair treatment pigments. The pigment or the color used for normal tattoo changes due to the migration and color type, and also the tissue level where the tattoo has been injected. Thinning Hair procedure is different, and the pigment is implanted on the top layer of the epidermis, and the color does not change at all. Once the SMP procedure has been carried out on your scalp, it can last between one and three years, and it is a good idea for you to go back for a retouch after three years, for the treatment to remain looking good. At Scalp Esthetica, we are not in a position to determine the exact time that the Thinning Hair procedure lasts, since the longevity depends mostly on the biology of the patient, lifestyle and several factors that may affect the procedure. Do not shy away from having a Scalp Micropigmentation treatment since you will not feel any pain at all. This is because the pigments are only fixed on the bottom layer of the epidermis. The Thinning Hair treatment is supposed to take no more than four hours. This is because the scalp can become irritated after this period, and the patient can experience some pain. The good news is that SMP is now being carried out in Toronto, Canada. Visit us today and get a quote that will not make you break the bank! Don’t settle for just any so called Scalp Micropigmentation, Hair Tattoo or Scalp Tattoo clinic, that ask you to travel long distances, don’t have any real before or after pictures, and copy the work of others and pass them off as their own. Scalp Esthetica have their own client testimonials, pictures and videos of actual clients on their website and facebook pages, as well as as instagram. 9. Scalp Micropigmentation: Finding the Best SMP Scalp Tattoo and Hair Tattoo Clinic Scalp Micropigmentation: Finding the Best SMP Scalp Tattoo and Hair Tattoo Clinic More and more Men and Women have now heard about a new procedure called SMP or Scalp Micropigmentation, also referred to as Scalp Tattoo and Hair Tattoo, to treat baldness, hair loss, hair transplant camouflage and thinning hair. SMP is becoming more popular worldwide, but potential clients have a hard time choosing the Best SMP Clinic to go to to have a Scalp Tattoo or Hair Tattoo Treatment. Here are some tips from Scalp Esthetica on finding the Best SMP Clinic: 1) Ensure that the SMP clinic is reputable. Reputable Scalp Micropigmentation clinics have been around the longest, or are associated with larger SMP businesses that have partnered up to provide proven and tested results. 2) Ask to have a consultation first. The SMP Artist or provider should have extensive knowledge of the history of Scalp Micropigmentation, as well as the benefits and the risks associated with having a Scalp Tattoo Treatment. IF they seem not to know their material, benefits and risks, or act and say things that just don’t make sense (i.e. we can do SMP Scalp Tattoo in one day, etc), then they are most likely a new technician and do not have enough experience in the industry. 3) Ask to see Pictures and Videos. However, be very careful. There are companies that are so new that they are showing clients generic pictures of other people’s work on their website and in their photo albums. The Best SMP clinics will have photos and videos of the people they have worked on on their cell phones, computers, cameras, Instagram, etc, with the actual client and the SMP Artist in the picture. If the before and after photos are without the SMP Artist in them, then they are probably a new SMP provider and have very little experience. 4) Ask for references. If in doubt about the Scalp Micropigmentation clinic, ask the SMP Clinic to provide one or two references from actual clients. Most likely, a good SMP Clinic would have a couple of clients that don’t mind speaking about their experience and exceptional results from having an SMP treatment. 5) Ask what kind of needles and pigments they are using. The three most important aspects of the Best SMP clinics are: 1) Experience 2) Needles 3) Pigment. 1) Experience. Experience is key to this process as the SMP Artist needs to know exactly where to place the pigment into the skin. Different racial backgrounds have different types of skin (some thinker, some thinner). As well, if the SMP artist is experienced, they will have dealt with the good and bad of different skin types (oily skin, dry skin, etc). If the SMP artist isn’t experienced enough, they could place the pigment in the wrong placement and/or use the wrong pigment for the skin type and make the treatment too light or too dark for the skin. 2) Needles. The needles used have to be the smallest in size and diameter in order to properly match the clients’ hair follicle size. A new or low cost SMP clinic may not be using the correct size needle and make the hair follicle simulation too large, and thus giving the client a polka dot head (follicles that are too big and look like big polka dots on the head). 3) Pigments. Yes, pigments, not inks. A new or low cost SMP clinic may be using inks instead of stable pigments. The reason stable pigments are so important is so that the pigment doesn’t change color over time and turn clients head blue or green. This happens when so called SMP artists use low quality pigments or inks that are not stable. Non stable pigments deteriorate over time by constant Sun or UV rays or the body may break down the pigment, returning the pigment to its natural colors of blue. The Best SMP clinics have been using their pigments for years and know that it is stable and will never turn color. If anything, once the pigment fades, it should fade into a charcoal or black/grey color, which is much more natural. Unfortunately, Scalp Micropigmentation is a fast growing industry with many, many happy clients, however, there are pop up companies that are offering this service with very little training, poor pigments and the wrong use of needles, which may give this industry a bad name until these companies are weeded out, close down, or choose to take training from a certified SMP company with years of experience in the field. There are companies in the GTA that even after only a few months of being open are offering training courses, and claiming to be recognized “globally”, even though they aren’t even known or recognized in Toronto, Ontario or Canada. It is very important for each client to have a thorough consultation with the actual SMP provider and ask questions before choosing the Best SMP Clinic. Scalp Esthetica are the leaders in the industry and are part of the global leaders the SMP industry, Scalp Aesthetics. Scalp Esthetica is known in Toronto for their expertise in SMP, Scalp Micropigmentation, Hair Tattoo, Scalp Tattoo and SMP Hair Density Treatments, and are known to be the Best SMP Clinic in Toronto. 13. If you are suffering from hair loss, chances are that you would try to hide it everyday. You can use caps, hoodies and other such head-gear to keep people from viewing what is really happening on top of your head. However, these are not long-term solutions to the problem. Your head is still devoid of any hair, so sooner or later, everyone around you would find out that you are going bald. This is where the scalp tattoo treatment comes in. The process makes it look like you have recently shaved your head or given it a buzz-cut. The overall effect is convincing as it looks neat, and stylish, especially when complemented with a short stubble! How is it done? Getting a scalp tattoo involves dots, which mimic hair follicles on your scalp to give the illusion of having hair follicles. There would be a variety of different needle angles, pigment color, needle thickness and penetration depths, which can be used in a single session of getting a scalp tattoo, so that it looks as natural as possible. So it is like getting a tattoo? Not exactly. Traditional tattoos require much heavier gauge needles and the ink is injected much further into the skin. Also the ink used in scalp tattoos are quite different from the ones in traditional tattoos, as they should not fade to blue with time. The ink and the equipment which are used for this procedure is specifically crafted for it, and not just a modification of traditional tattoo equipment. Is it customized? Yes, it is! Every person has a unique hair texture, hair color and hairline. For the treatment to look convincing, care must be taken to follow the hair patterns, which are closest to your original pattern of hair. Even the direction of growth of the hair follicles gives it a jagged look, which should be replicated when getting a scalp tattoo. Is it safe? If you get it done from a reputed clinic, absolutely. The treatment does not require the use of any drugs as it is not surgical. It does not leave any scars on your skin and it gives the illusion of your head being full of thick hair follicles. The best part is that the results are immediate! How much does a Scalp Micropigmentation Treatment Cost? Prices for an SMP treatment vary depending on the amount of work that needs to be done based on the degree of baldness. Prices can range from $750 to cover a client, male or female, with thinning hair to $5000 for a full head of hair restoration. It is best to go into the office where you plan to have the treatment to meet with your SMP technician and to have a consultation. Consultations are usually free, but are limited to time. Go into the consultation prepared with some questions about the artist and about the treatment. Based on the consultation, the SMP technician will be able to give you an accurate quote on the procedure, and should be able to answer any and all of your questions.
