  1. Thank you for the answer. Im a little bit worried because i haven't read anything on the internet of applying antiseptics on the recipient area. Just got up and all pimples disappeared over night without any pain. It was just 4 of them. The reason why i decided to use Hibiscrub is because on my first hairtransplant i had pimples which got inflamed and the doctor (a different one) prescribed me nothing for it. On those areas the growth was significantly less dense. I guess the inflammation killed some grafts there. Now im very paranoid when it comes to pimples and it was good that the current doctor gave me this antiseptics with my post op kit. It can't be so aggressive because you can even use it as a shampoo too. Nevertheless im worried because i always hear that the grafts are weak after they have anchored. The point is that i haven't read anything on the internet regarding antiseptics on pimples on the recipient site and maybe growth can be affected...
  2. No the only ingredient of it is chlorhexidine. The package insert even says that you can use it to disinfect your hands and even your face. Do you think that graft growth would be affected by it? Why would a doctor give it then?
  3. Hello, so i started having pimples on the recipient area 3 weeks after the FUE procedure and my doctor prescribed me Hibiscrub which contains only Chlorhexidine. I applied it yesterday and all the pimples faded from red into light pink. Does anyone know if it has a negative effect on the grafts in such a early stage (3 weeks) since the doctor told me to use it when pimples appear 3+ months after the operation. Thank you in advance!
  4. Oh and why is weightlifting and other sports forbidden until day 14 when the grafts are secure 10 days post op?
  5. Thank you, this settles my concernes. But i gently massaged literally all scabs in one showering. I didn't really let them fall off by itself. Some of them were very loose and some needed to be massaged a little longer but came off with no pain at all.
  6. Hello, so today i am 14 days post op and still really scared to damage anything. My doctor advised me to massage the recipient area carefully 7 days post op but i didn't touch anything until today. Now i've read many threads concerning this, if you should let the scabs fall off itself or massage them away. Many people say that leaving the scabs on the skin makes forming of bacteria more likely (which makes sense to me). But others say to wait until they fall off even if it takes 3 weeks. 10 minutes ago i took a shower and removed all of them. They literally slid off without resistance. No bleeding and no stinging. Some hairs fell off with the scab but most of them stayed. But now im extremely paranoid that i damaged anything even if i didn't see any blood. Many doctors even advise to be scab free between day 8 and 12. But how can one know if the massage was too strong, if you have to be "careful". Can there be internal damage even if there was no blood or stinging? I know i could have asked my doctor but emailing them always takes a day or two and i can't wait for an answer. Sorry for my bad english and thank you in advance!
  7. Hello, i'm wondering how long grafts can survive when exposed to air. In two cases, first with the solution and without. I had a hair transplant a week ago and a doctors assistant put some grafts out of the solution and on her hand in a row. I guess its faster for her to pick them up then. But im worried that some of the transplanted grafts may be damaged Sorry for my englisch and thank you in advance!
  8. Asking myself the same question here. Can Grafts actually dislodge "internally" and you won't notice it because it doesn't bleed?
  9. Thank you for the responses. Thats what i heard too in a german forum. Now i can be sure that nothing is wrong Thank you all!
  10. Hello, so i had a hairtransplant surgery where the slits in the recipient area were opened one day before inserting the grafts. The doctor did this to see how much grafts i will need but he could't insert all grafts in one day so he put in the rest the day after. I asked him if the slits aren't closed or healed so the grafts couldn't grow anymore but he said that it takes 3 days for the slits to close. Is this correct? P.S: Sorry for my bad english
