  1. Hi there. I'm from the same area as you and I've seen some of Dr. Arnovitz's work. I'm a few years ahead of you and have already had an FUT procedure with only satisfactory results, not by Dr. Aronovitz. I would not go ahead with it and give it a few more years to see where you are at. Dr. Aronovitz's work is only FUT which he has been doing for awhile since the 90's. That necessarily isn't a good thing. Just my thoughts.
  2. Toppik changed their formulation early 2000's. I was told directly by them it was due to manufacturing site change. Big difference. I noticed it immediately as the hair spray I was using had a different effect in the newer formulation. It had more of green tinge to it also. Caboki is what I use now after switching to Organin from Toppik. Those idiots refuse to confirm that they changed their formulation recently also. It now comes in a different container similar to Toppik which is garbage to disperse. Luckily I still have 10 plus containers of the older type. I just transfer the contents of the new container to the older one. Still a slight difference in chemistry though. Just my opinion.
  3. I think you misunderstood me. I didn't say wait until your forties or fifties, just that 20 is too young as you are going to experience further natural non-transplanted hair loss. I think around age 35 give or take a few years depending on stage of hair loss is best for most people. At age 20 I was experiencing minimal hair loss and a HT would have been very premature.
  4. I can't believe anyone on this forum didn't have the decency to tell you that a HT with your minimal degree of hair loss is highly premature at the age of 20 to have any type of hair transplant. Unbelievable!
  5. Toppik is garbage!! I used it initially but its formulation has changed due to cost cutting. I had used Organin and/or Hair So Real which were both the same but branded and bottled differently. I now use Caboki which is worth the extra cost. Nanogen I found very similar to Toppik in characteristics. For a spray hold, don't use anything that they try to sell you as "fibre hold spray" I recommend L'Oreal Design Spray it work great and hold all day.
  6. L'Oreal Design Spray. Very fine mist, dries quick and doesn't disperse fibres. I have used it for many years and now it only comes in stronger holds. Also I have used it with Toppik(garbage), Hair So Real and Caboki.
  7. Any reviews on this clinic or doctor by anyone? Hairline Clinic-Ankara, Turkey Dr. Ozgur Oztan FUE Hairline Klinik T?rkei Results online look great, also they only do manual FUE also which is something of importance to me as I have seen firsthand 2 people who have had HT surgery done at other places in Turkey and the scarring although minimal seems more invasive as their transplants were done with micromotor method of FUE harvesting of donor area. I have a SKYPE consultation setup with them later this week and wanted to know some info beforehand. Myself, I had a 2200 graft FUT in early 2010, satisfactory results which unfortunately didn't allow me to release myself from the daily routine of concealer use. I want to fix my problem once and for all so I want to utilize BHT also to give me a better defined hairline and conceal FUT linear scar in donor area. Additionally I do nothing currently for my hair, I took Propecia daily form almost 9 years and still experienced hair loss so I was part of that 5% where it did nothing. I'm serious about taking care of this problem this year as I'm not getting any younger so I have already had a consultation with SureHair international in Toronto, Ontario-Canada. Great people and the closest to me location wise but the cost $$$$$$ and no BHT has led to me seek out other options. Currently also setting up with consultations with: Darling Buds-Dr. Bhatti-Northern India, India DermHair Clinic-Dr. Umar-California, USA I plan to do my surgery later this year or early next year. Any advice would be great. Thanks.
