Hey Danny Who were you booked to go with? Thats a shame you called it off, but yeah if you aint 100% sure then best to take a small financial hit than regret for life.....what pics? Ive got some at start of post if they any use? Im still not 100% sure how to upload from my phone or would have added a few from present(not that there is much to see) lol... i also think you will always get contradicting information re whats best, but yeah i think majority especially in turkey its about the money... you did right thing mate

Hey 1966kph Hows everything?howd your op go? I think mines is going as planned. Scabbing lasted about 7-10 days for me. I must have been a quick healer. There is nothing more upsetting though than when the scabs fall off with hairs attatched. No matter how much you read that it is normal etc... you think you have done something wrong. Im now in what they call the ugly duckling phase, ive had a fair bit of shock loss on the top of head but im just leaving it now to grow as i do not suit a skin head.... i just really wish i could fast forward 6 months :-) I spoke with Dr Karadeniz re my concerns,but in the end it was like talking to a wall. He has now he stated sends his clients to a new hotel im sure he said 5 star, so i guess atleast people in future will not experience what i had. I felt he was quite patronising during discussion,he offered me 10 euros, to compensate re breakfast and hotel, not even 10 bloody pound....lol.... then he offered me a night in this new hotel,if i return to istanbul...come on im hardly going to pay 200-300 pound to fly there to benefit from his gesture of 1 night... he then never replied to my emails. So he talked a good game before surgery, really poor experience during and aftercare pretty poor aswell.... for a dr that wants to break into uk he sure gotta learn alot , a wee email to see how everything is etc wouldnt go a miss...i asked him to put my photos up aswell...no reply on that subject... So if anybody asked i wouldnt recommend him... i only hope his transplant skills are better than the rest...time will tell

Oh and did my 1st hairwash today. That was scary, so scared to touch area, so was a gentle pat on areas with the shampoo, and light drizzle from shower.... now its time to hide in the house for couple of days till redness dies down a bit.... I think this is when maybe being a vampire would help, as at night nobody can see our heads haha

Hi guys. Im sorry for the delay in getting back on here....but what a surprise, whats happened to my thread, its got a bit crazy here..... right journey home wasnt actually to bad, I managed to get a bucket style hat and turn it up at the sides.... I looked like bloody heisenberg from breaking bad... and suppose it kinda looked funky aswell... but main point it was compfy, covered the areas it needed to and didnt cause any damage to my grafts like the previous night. I got the odd look from peope, but sometimes I feel it is in our heads. As at an airport we see all manners of different people and different styles, so it was ok to be different... at turkish airport I had to remove hat slightly, they saw blood on head and let me through, then back in scotland had to remove again to get through customs...but by that time my journey was nearly finished so was just desperate to get it done....and get home to my partner and newborn son....whom mite I add has hair like me now haha...1966kph just make sure you take a hat like that and is loose fitting. Dr karadeniz said a no to baseball caps and wooly 1s...both of which I brought to cover area

Hmmmm now to try and strategicaly arrange the bedding to avoid being on my grafted areas....thats is something I am not finding fun... cant wait to sleep on my side again....haha...

I made same mistake re telling him my longevita price, where I should of kept quiet and seen what price he woulda offered, then longevita would of been my fall back if he was alot more. He will not want to pay the agency fees. So out of my ht, he has made extra as he charged me same as longevita...I was a silly boy... I have drafted my email and will send on monday, inviting him to forum to answer these questions, plus the 1s I have raised. He will maybe show my photos off aswell which he will need to do so peoplecan see his work.

Yeah wwiizzkkiidd 24 there positives that comes from going with him... im gonna look out for this update aswell. I think I will see positive results, but at this stage I guess we all the same. I will return home 2moro and think, perhaps monday I will send dr karadeniz an email explaining my thoughts and feelings. I will also inform him re my post and ask him to come on and answer few things. His team were great, 2 technicians. They were more than helpful, but felt his customer service lacked during and after surgery. Where as prior he was the opposite, even before arrival in hotel he called to say hi... personal touches like that I liked, and was reason I went with him as oppossed to others... but you look at muzaffer, dr demirsoys PA, he is renound on this forum for his helpfulness and customer service....and I dealt with him and can confirm that... so perhaps dr karadeniz should lookat people like that and realise customer service is so important espec to break into uk

Being honest 1966kph id be lying if I said I did no the price for between 1000 and 2000.. yeah I dont understand it myself and wasnt bothering when I was getting the 2500 but when I lost 500 and with no financial benefit thats when it irked me. I paid 2600 for transplant accomodation and airport transfers... no thats where I feel he has let himself go, customer care, he should be opposite then id be away singing his praises and giving him coverage in good light. Yeah I hope for good result and to forget probs so far. Keep in touch mate, espec with your transplant

God where do you get the money for all this lol, ive had to max a credit card to have mine done :-( johnboy do you recommend meds aswell? Im just trying to establish abit more about them , proscar etc

Wwiizzkkiidd24, thanks for posting, yeah that is a bit crazy re his pricing thats working out at like under ?1 per hair if he offering hotel etc aswell.... it does seem like there no structure to his pricing... I am still confident in his abilities, i think at this point in time im just annoyed at things that have been promised and not delivered, but i shoulda dealt with that at the time.. I guess his confidence etc can be sometimes confused with arrogance...

Yeah johnboy71 im gonna wait until I am home and structure a good email letting him no my thoughts and feelings, but as said I dont expect much satisfaction but it will be good to let him know my feelings. I will also make reference to this post aswell, I know he regularly on here so hopefully he will come on and answer a few things. When did you get your ht done?

1966kph, yeah it is really scary and such a delicate time, dr karadeniz said 2nd day wear hat lightly on head but even lightly can cause damage, as ive found out. I guess thats 1 of the risks we have with going abroad for our treatment.Then the wash schedule and moisturising scares me to... we will get through it mate, plus im a month ahead of you so you can learn from my mistakes lol... I will see how airport is 2m and decide then about hat....over 4hours is long to wear hat without moving it

Lol yeah in all honesty I was a wee bit disappointed in things with him swooping, he promised so much and was confident, sounded assured and caring during previous interactions. A big factor was the effort he put in prior to me coming over. But I think I will be messaging him upon return to uk to let him know about certain points I was not happy with, graft amount will be 1 of the 1st, I doubt I will recieve much satisfaction let alone being reimbursed for those 500, but dr karadeniz is looking to break into the uk, he was hoping id be 1 of people he could count on for support and to show off his work.... so time will tell, and you never know he might even read my post and answer a few things himself

Yeah got like a pillow for round my neck,and its like a trilby style that got from the dr surgery... guess accidents gonna happen but ive gotta protect as many hairs as i can over the next few days. I guess the flight going to be biggest challenge then atleast when im home the majority of time im going to be in house so no need for hats etc

Johnboy71, he charged me ?2600 for the grafts the accomodation for 3nights and airport transfers... that sounded good to me from the research i did. But guess at time i was nervous and never questioned him abit more in the way i should have re grafts and other areas...
