  3. Anyone try Nexus shampoo? Costco stopped carrying Nioxin (they used to sell it real cheap) and replaced it with Nexus.
  4. The reason I brought this Gary Null business up was because of where he was broadcast. I'm aware of all the scam artists out there but this wasn't just some infomercial or something. This was and is being broadcast on the Public Broadcasting System (PBS). I always thought that PBS was fairly good at spotting the charlatans.
  5. Today on PBS TV Gary Null, the well known commentator and author of many anti-aging books, said that he and his brothers all have male-pattern-baldness but that he had regrown all his hair back, and then some. He said he did it with nutrition and supplentation. I've been watching him off and on for many years and do not recall him ever having MPB. What do you guys think?

  7. Well,I have tried Toppik, Couvre, Fullmore, Dermatch, and Prothik. All in various combinations. When I first started using concealers last year I started out with Couvre and Toppik, and I thought they worked miracles.I didn't care for Fullmore very much but then I only tried it 3-4 times and thought it was too messy looking. I have not used Couvre in weeks now because of the far superior results of Dermatch. It's less noticeable, and with every application I get better and better using it properly, but you have to be patient because it's kind of tricky using it at first.I was still using Toppik with it. However, last week I began using Prothik (spray) and the combo of it and Dermatch is extremely impressive. The last few days, in fact, I look in the mirror, and except for my high forehead, it appears like something I could live with (if my Proscar keeps working and prevents anymore loss), even without a HT. It even looks great without Toppik. The only problem with Prothik is that I find it kind of pricey when you consider how long a can will last. I hope this helps.
  8. I use a combination of DermMatch and Toppik. DermMatch works real good on the hairline because you can do a gradual fade of it towards the front. Since it takes few minutes to apply though, I'll use Couvre instead if I'm in a hurry. For me though, Couvre doesn't hold a candle to DermMatch and I'm using less and less of it. I finish the job with Toppik, mostly towards the back, and extra-hold hairspray.
